Excellent choice of meats and service. Wine list along with after dinner drinks were great. Even the valet treated us like family. Have visited server all of DFW’s Brazilian steakhouses and so far this one ranks in the top 1 or 2.

Enjoyed the meat and salad bar for dinner.
1. Food: I tried a wide range of the meats, all were high quality. Most commendable was top sirloin, picanha and lamb chops. My wife considered picanha as her favorite cut.
Salad bar has a wide variety of options, I just tried Tabouli with the meats and cheese afterwards. No issues w taste. Didn’t t notice any Frejolada. !
2. Service: Attentive, prompt and professional
3. Price. Expensive @ 45 per person. Compared to similar restaurants, maybe a sub $ 40 is appropriate
This is a high quality restaurant, but I rate Texas de Brazil and Fogo de C marginally higher, considering they are in same price range.
Good to experience this type of option locally in Flower Mound

We had a group of 6 and were celebrating a birthday, my birthday! From the second we arrived our experience was first class! Complimentary Valet walked us to the door and we were seated immediately. The service was outstanding, the food was amazing and I must have stated at least three times that this was my new favorite place. It is a little pricey but also a good value. I only wish I had deeper pockets so that we could attend more often!

I took my wife and the kids here for a birthday supper. We had an excellent experience. We rarely go dining anywhere upscale, given the young ages of the children, however we were so excited to see this being built and we wanted to try it.
Our impression was highly favorable compared to almost any restaurant of any category. I’ve been to several Brazilian steakhouses and this one exceeded the quality of food and service of all others. The bill was lower than I was expecting — considering the whole dining experience I think it was an incredible value.
Next time I will try to tip the scales in favor of a little more salad bar. I was hesitant to «fill up» too much, but there were some excellent choices. In fact I am told they gave a salad-​only selection.
I highly recommend giving it a try — especially if you are local. I’d rather have an interesting place like Carvao’s then another BBQ/​burger joint!

Unfortunately the tenderloin was tough and grisly. Generally I have been pleased with the food.

Very happy to have a Brazilian steak house in FM. Service is excellent. Salad bar is solid but not on par with Texas de Brazil in Addison or my favorite Rafain off off the Dallas North Tollway. Meat is all very good but not the same quality as aforementioned establishments — however it is cooked over charcoal the way Brazilian meat should be which makes the flavor just as good. My main and biggest reason there is 4 stars and not 5 is the horrible lighting. It’s like being in a super Walmart at 2am and just as flattering. As a somewhat date place, it is not a selling point for the ladies. Otherwise very good.

As authentic Brazilian as you can get! The personal service, the marvelous food, and a flaming dessert! Enjoy! We sure did!

Dined here after first week of opening. Owners were great, staff was attentive. Food was delicious. Drinks were good. Great new spot in the Flo Mo.

Date night. I wanted a nice place but not too expensive and heard about this new Brazilian Steakhouse that just opened in Flower Mound. Here’s the run down.
Food-​Good to Very Good. Some things were a bit too salty though. The Prime Rib was very good. Found out we are not Lamb Chop people. The Chicken wrapped in bacon was overcooked and dry. The best of the choices was the Parmesan Pork Tenderloin. That was our favorite. Consistency was a little off though. Our first serving of the pork was delicious. Flavorful, tender, cooked perfectly and just all around delicious. Our second helping of the pork was too salty but still worth having, just not as much of a WOW factor as the first helping. The Top Sirloin was very good. We tried the pork sausage, but wasn’t our thing. They bring you little fresh bread muffins which are very light and buttery and fried bananas. Yes Fried bananas. Those as it turned out were something I found to be irresistible and as a result found a new way to get more fruit into my diet. The salad bar was a good selection of choices whether you want an actual salad or just want to sample items like smoked salmon, shrimp, various cheeses and other condiments and sides. They had a lobster bisque soup that was also salty, which was a disappointment since there seemed like there was no real bits of lobster in it unless it was blended into a purée. I would have preferred to have some actual lobster chunks to know it was really in there.
Service-​Excellent. From the complimentary Valet to the wait service. The service is 5 star. They were always there to answer questions and help with anything we needed. You don’t get just one server. They all stop by to check on you even though we did have a main server. Our water was never less than ½ empty and the fried bananas and muffins were never empty.
The only caveat is the price. Expect to pay $ 150 for 2 people with 1 drink (tip included). I think it’s a bit high for the amount of food you can eat, but if you have big appetite this could be your place.
Overall it was a nice date place if you don’t mind the prices. We enjoyed ourselves and except for sticker shock, we really enjoyed the variety of things to eat and sample.
I would prefer to give it a 3 ½ stars if that was a choice.

That was one of the most enjoyable meals my family has had in a long time! The service was friendly and attentive and there were several cuts of meat that were much more flavorful than their counterparts at other Brazilian restaurants. My personal favorites were the picahna, top and bottom sirloin, lamb chops, garlic beef, and prime rib.
One example of their attention to detail is the waitstaff found out the preference of doneness for our meats they remembered to offer that to us each time. My father likes his food well done (I know, such a shame at a place like this but what can you do?) and they made sure to fire the meat specifically for him.
I read a couple reviews here that said there was no cheese bread. I can happily say they DO have it. Various reviews said the lobster bisque was too salty and I agree. I also agree that the papaya cream is one of the best I’ve found and I highly recommend it!
I wish they had grilled pineapple. With 18 cuts of meat though, I am definitely not complaining. Just a hopeful suggestion.

The salad bar was amazing and the filet and garlic picanha were my favorites. Although I didn’t try any of the ribs or lamb or lobster bisque which I read were amazing. Next time. I filled up too much on the salad bar. Next time I will try the ones I hadn’t tried along with the lamb and ribs.

Carvao was a place, I so looked forward to. Now, I’m happy to say, Go for it! Great service. Great Hot n Cold salad bar. Big choice of meats, pork and chicken.

Coming from someone that grew up in Brazil and has eaten at many churrascarias, Carvão is top-​notch. The meats were cooked to perfection and the service was impeccable. A major difference in the taste of the meat is that they are still using coal, unlike many churrascarias that have switched to gas, and this gives their meats a superior flavor. Do yourself a favor and check them out.

Good service but the food was just average. It was horribly overpriced and a bit pretentious.

This is a great addition to the Lakeside development. I took my family here (wife plus two children, 6 and 10) for my birthday dinner. Like most Brazilian steakhoues, the meats were quite lovely. Well seasoned and very delicious. The restaurant is new, so they will get better as they go along. Few comments:
* Their caipirinha was divine. I took a sip and was instantly transported to a sidewalk café in Porto Alegre. Best ones we have had outside of Brazil.
* The salad/​appetizer bar has a very wide selection with high quality eats to enjoy.
* The meats were great. The only reason I’m giving 4 instead of 5 stars is due to a few cuts that did not meet my expectations. One of the filet cuts had a tendon running through it, and some of the meats were over cooked. It’s not too big of a problem, however, as you can always ask for more :)
* Bottom sirloin is definitely something to try!
Regardless, this is another fine dining spot for our fair town that will treat you!

Food was good but not great. The salad bar — now THAT was great. Lots of tasty options. The meat was good but inconsistent. Round 1 was delicious but round 2 (of an identical selection) was dry — or vice versa. Some cuts had excessive fat, so much so that it couldn’t be overlooked. What really turned my whole party off, though, was the lighting. It was harsh fluorescent-​type lighting, and we never got used to it. It throws off a very cold vs warm and inviting atmosphere. Sounds weird, I know, but it was just one of those things where all 5 in my party said «who picked the lights??». Great service. Desserts were hit or miss (chocolate options were great but the key lime pie was acidic and we couldn’t finish it)
I’ve been to better Brazilian steakhouses and just wasn’t overly impressed. It’s a decent chunk of change on a so-​so meal. I hope they do well, though. It’s a unique dining option for the area.

I will admit this is a picky review, so no withholding here.
Pretty good overall, attentive service and tasty meat. Not bad for a first time business. I would say it is comparable to the other churrascarias in Addison and elsewhere. Fillet mignon was tender and lovely wrapped in bacon. The chicken was juicy and lamb chops were quite well done. Bathrooms are clean with soft fabric like paper towels. The lighting was a little dim when I went but it did not affect me. Cavaro does not have cheesy bread like Fogo which was a little sad. However, they do serve fried banana and polenta. Lobster bisque at the salad bar was alright, a little salty though. The hot self serve chafing dishes had their utensils sitting out cold on plates with clumps of food on them. Not appealing. The gaucho also sometimes gave me more than I requested, so good luck trying all 18 cuts of meat.
5 stars, because I think this restaurant has an opportunity to grow and become a local favorite.

Service was excellent and the meats were all very tasty. Unfortunately, my appetite isn’t as good anymore because I’ve been conditioning my stomach to eat less. Would have love more of that yummy bottom sirloin. That was my favorite cut.
The desserts are extra. Get the papaya cream. It’s better than the one at Estilo Gaucho.
I like the meats at Estili Gaucho just a little better but not enough to make the drive to Frisco. I think Carvao could be my new favorite.

A carnivores dream! Unbelievably good cuts of meat. Seasoned perfectly. Very tender. Everything was fantastic from the Caipirinha to the Cheesecake. Did I save room for Cheesecake? Unfortunately, no. But I made room for it. I think I may honestly skip food tomorrow.
