This is an excellent find in Old Town Florissant serving made from scratch quiche, sandwiches, soup, cheesecake and more. I ordered The Louie, an Angus beef sandwich with provolone cheese and topped with a horseradish mayo and au hi on the side. This sandwich was amazing and just exploded with flavor and moisture. Coupled with the salty kettle chips and pickle this was a fantastic meal! To finish it off, I ordered the margarita cheesecake which had an excellent lime flavor and was topped and made with taquila! Couldn’t put my fork down. Will be back here for sure!

When you first walk through the door an amazing smell smacks you right in the face. Small seating area but put together very well and feels inviting. There is also an outdoor seating area. Very gracious staff. The Big Al is amazing. If you are a roast beef fan you will be amazed. Try to finish just a half sandwich. You probably can’t. Cheesecakes offered vary but all look amazing. The turtle cheesecake is awesome. You can’t go wrong picking this place for a meal.

I love this place, I am a big sandwich guy and The Louie is my favorite sandwich in the entire world. I have had other food there too and everything they serve is excellent. The slaw, soup, cheesecake, its all is awesome. Everyone should give it a shot… Love it

Wow!!! This is a gem of a place in a rather unsuspecting building. We just moved to Florissant and found it on Unilocal. We got really lucky to find it wasn’t busy(though it should be!), got seated on the outside lovely patio and got waited on immediately. My boyfriend got the Inferno(roast beef, jalapeño, cheese and spicy sauce) which he said was amazing. I got the Mediterranean chicken sandwich(sans bread) which was yum! We then split(read: my boyfriend ate) a slice of donut hole cheesecake… holy motha, YUMMMMMM. After we paid, the owner came out and offered all of us a beer on the house! What good customer service! We love it, and we’ll definitely be back.

Hidden Gem in the neighborhood. My wife and I ate here this morning and the food was absolutely fabulous. Great presentation. Made fresh. Great customer service. They made a small mistake on the order and quickly resolved it and were very apologetic. I would highly recommend that every florissant resident put this on your must visit list. We ate outside on a nice day which added to the experience as well.

The food at Delish is sensational! If you’re looking for from-scratch cooking, this is the place! I’m a fan of the harvest salad. My husband got The Big Al and said it’s one of the best sandwiches he has had in years… and he’s a tough critic! We had the donut hole cheesecake for dessert. Good, but not out of this world for me. The place is small with only a few tables and a teeny tiny kitchen. Don’t let this scare you away, the quality, uniqueness, and flavor of the food makes up for it!

CALLAHEAD! I absolutely love this place. DeLish is located about a minute from my house, and with food this good this close its a wonder I don’t weigh 400 lbs. since it’s opened my wife and I have tried 70% of the menu, we would try more but the items we’ve had have been so good we tend not to stray, It amazes me the quality(and quantity on busy days) of food the chef serves out of a kitchen as big as my bathroom. Never once have I been disappointed. The place is small so if you don’t have time to wait call ahead. The carry out service is great, they’ve never screwed up an order or been late to make my food. This is my favorite place to eat in a 20 mile radius. Go there. Eat there or carry out. You will not regret it. Call ahead.

Even with all the great reviews I still was not expecting the quality that we received here. the food was outstanding. I highly recommend this place. Yes. The place is tiny, but don’t be deceived. It’s not an attractive building from the outside, but don’t let that distract you. Go there. It really is delish

Overall the food was good. Unfortunately the menu has been changed. Coffee and packages of Coffeemate were the only café type item I saw available. It was our servers first day so his input was limited on menu changes and options available. My husband and I did manage to find items that we thought sounded good on the revised menu. I had the Mt. Everest and my husband had The Zank, both of which were De lish! We also split an Oreo Cheesecake although the cheesecake was not the best that I have had it was good and flavors were not too overwhelming. I suspect my husband will visit again, he absolutely loved his sandwich and most of the items on the menu had bacon on them. As for me I do not eat beaf or pork so I found the revised menu limiting. Overall we enjoyed our visit

This place is amazing. I’ve had some issues with people not being too friendly who work here, but besides that– the food is AMAZING! I love the breakfast, the mcgreggor, sliders, the Louie, BLB, inferno. And get the chipotle mayo on everything! Lattes are good, not sure if they still make these!

Amazing sandwiches & cheesecake. The name suits the food, because it’s delicious. Too bad the place is so small. I think the inside seats around 15 – 20 people. It’s nice when the weather warms up and they open the patio. The food is terrific and it’s not possible to leave hungry. The sandwiches are huge. On Saturday they offer some amazing bacon wrapped cinnamon rolls that are just heavenly. I love Delish!

They seem disorganized here, man answering the phone didn’t know what time they closed. I had to wait awhile to be acknowledged when I came in just so I could find out what they served because there is no menu posted anyway, but when I was helped they apologized. Waiting for my food though someone nearly gave me someone else’s so I went to take it being told that’s not yours. As for the food, I got a camwich, which was a bbq chicken sandwich. It had a lot going on with it, couldn’t get all the different flavors in my mouth at one time because there was so much chicken on it, a good problem from some ppl’s perspective. My main issue with the sandwich was it was so hot that I had to wait to eat it, but during that time the bread lost its integrity, maybe if it had been toasted it might have been able to hold up idk. It was too much food for me, I ordered the half, could have used a quarter option, bbq sauce was good though. I got the bacon cheddar potato soup, as an Irish Catholic it reminded me of beer soup, super thick, I wished it had had more potato chunks it it. This brings me to the main event, the cheesecake, I got snickers. I must admit it was very good, nice and creamy and for it alone I would return to try some other food. But only on a nice day because the place is not insulated.

Today I visited de. lish cheesecake and had food that made my heart smile. Their Korean BBQ sandwich was savory and bold. My son had the gladiator and he said he can feel his chest hairs growing as his voice began to deepen at just 14 years old… For dessert I had the espresso martini cheesecake which was so heavenly, like an angel flew down from heaven, graced them with their presence, and they captured that angel, ground it down and put it inside the cheesecake and smothered it with love and unicorn tears and just a sprinkle of rainbow…

My sisters and I have been wanting to try de-lish for a while now and finally did on Tuesday, July 22nd for dinner. de-lish is dyno-mite! We’re so glad we went. My sister and I split the BLB and a salad(the one with the dried cranberries and candied walnuts) and both were amazing and full of flavor. My other sister had the Chicken Cesar Salad which was very good also. Big portions, fresh ingredients, and outstanding taste. Whoever crafts the food is a master so hats off to the chef. Our server(Ethan) was great, very attentive and friendly. Yes, the inside is small but they have an outside patio that looks very enjoyable(we sat inside because of the heat). It’s not the kind of place that herds you in and out. The freshly prepared food is meant to be enjoyed and experienced, not rushed so relax, turn off your phone, and enjoy the company you’re with. You better talk before the food is delivered because once you start eating, that’s the end of the conversation. It’s just a bunch of ‘ums’ and ‘OMGs’ after that. de-lish is a gem and one of our new favorite places. We will definitely be returning.

Had the Cajun shrimp po’boy. It was awesome. The combo of spicy to cool balances the sandwich. The jalapeños and chipotle mayo where hot but not to hot. The cole slaw was great. The cheesecake was good to. The sandwiches are huge so bring an appetite.

Great food here. Parking nearby. Seats inside and outside. We got here at lunchtime and didn’t have the best timing because we had to wait about an hour for our food. But it’s small and cooking to order takes time so no surprise. Got the fresh squeezed lemonade and it was excellent. Not too tart. Not too sweet. Got the Reuben win the cole slaw. The Reuben was ginormous and delicious. The Reuben had a very generous amount of corned beef. There was a lot sauerkraut and the perfect amount of thousand island. I ate half and that was plenty for lunch. The cole slaw was very tasty. It was creamy, crunchy, nice touch of heat. Many times cole slaw is too watery but this one was great. Long wait but I will be back. Didn’t try the cookie or cheesecake yet; but looking forward to it.

After being back a couple times since they said they were removing their Pretzel rolls, I come to find out that they actually kept them, but do make them only twice a week! That’s a good compromise!!! All in all I like the food here. However, if you are trying to get in and out in a timely manner this probably isn’t the best place to go. With a group of four… if you add in drive time from work, it’s at least an hour. I suggest going on a slow day at work! And yes, everyone that has tried their Cheesecake loves it!

Cheesecake review only! My brother in law loves cheesecake and is not a huge cake lover, so I was not surprised when he requested a cheesecake for his most recent birthday. I used it as an excuse to finally try De Lish. I called to order, and the person answering couldn’t answer my questions about flavors, so she passed me on to someone else. I decided to order a crème brûlée cheesecake, which has the crunchy crystallized topping on top of it. I was warned that it probably would lose that effect on the trip home and in the fridge but I didn’t care. I prepaid — almost $ 35… GULP!!! That is way pricier than I expected! It was really hard to find! My GPS said I was there but I couldn’t tell. It is a small building with signage on the road but hard to see when you turn. They have a small lot and the building has historical signage on it, which made me confused. I walked in apprehensively and mentioned my order. They brought it out and I took it home. It had a lot of whipped cream around the edge, wasn’t too big — but was rich. The brulee stayed perfectly crunchy on top, despite their warnings, even a few hours later. We all dug in and wow… truly DELISH. There is only one cheesecake I’ve ever had that compares, and it’s in Puerto Rico, so this is a better option! Very rich and a truly homemade taste. I’d definitely order again, and do plan on coming for lunch sometime!

Cute place in an old train depot w/only a few tables. Small menu of salads, sandwiches, or bakery items. I wish they had a few more items on the menu. After avoiding vegetable-only and spicy ingredients, I thought there were only 1 or 2 sandwiches that appealed. So I ordered the McGregor Roasted Chicken sandwich. I asked that they remove the onions, but since it comes in a mixture with the chicken, they could only reduce the amount of onions. This was perfectly fine! The sandwich was outstanding! The cheese blended with the chipotle mayo to add to the flavor of the chicken, and the onions were not overbearing. It was soo good. The sandwich came with chips and a pickle spear. I added their freshly squeezed lemonade, which was sooooo good, and my total was ~$ 12. It took about 10 – 12 min to get my meal on this day(tiny kitchen/deli area), but it was worth the wait. Service was friendly and quite attentive. See the pictures. Reminds me of a tiny little coffeehouse but not overly bohemian.

I know they want the cheesecake to bring you in, but since De. lish is so close to work we come here for lunch, and now we can do breakfast too! They just started selling their breakfast sandwich«The Starter» and I have yet to try 2 of the sandwiches. My favorite is the Louie, the roast beef is so tender and melted with the cheese and the pepperoncinis and the spicy au jus… I may have to go there for lunch today! Nope, they are closed on Mondays, I guess they deserve a day to rest. They recently added the Inferno which is a spicy sandwich, I have not gotten to try yet, but I’m sure it is fantastic, they have not let my taste buds down yet! The McGregor is the original chicken sandwich, I have not tried it yet, but I have heard rave reviews from my co-workers. If you do have a sweet tooth, I have not tried any of the cheesecakes, but I have tried some of the cookies. My favorite and should be Florissant’s official Cookie, is the Sweet N Salty! De.lish is worth the drive from anywhere in St. Louis, add them on your facebook so you can see what the menu is each day! They also have different soups and quiches every day, except Monday!
