There is no table service at this restaurant, you come in order your food and sit down, they will bring it to you, but that is where the table service ends at. For the price you pay, I guess I would expect some table service, this place wants to be a restaurant and coffee house. So far I like this coffee house it is a nice quaint spot. They do have a drink called the Milky Way, it’s a steamed espresso based on the Milky Way candy bar and it is good. They sale breakfast and lunch sandwiches so I will have to come back here, for lunch one day. I had break fast this time. I really like this place, I just wish it was closer to the Spanish Lake area, with its a 8 to 9 mile drive and that’s cool, but not for my regular eating spot! I know Ferguson has really got some good eating spots. It doesn’t look like they have fresh butter, the server brought my pancakes out with a buttered flavor cream, I like real butter. It appears that they don’t have fresh juice, most of it is in the case and bottled, there may be some 100% fruit juices in there. When I sat down at my table, there was food on it and the tables did not seem like they were cleaned right away when people left. There was some food left on the tables, I have to clean it myself. These were not the best pancakes, they were about average. Well this is why sometimes it takes me a couple of days or so or even weeks or more to write a complete review. These pancakes have to be really good for me to come in regularly for breakfast and they weren’t. Unlike most places, I thought as long as you are eating there you get free refills on coffee, well here you get one refill and that is it! I thought in my opinion most coffee houses want you to stay eat and enjoy a social atmosphere. Here I think they want you to eat drink and get out, if that is the case, don’t play coffee house, just say you are a restaurant and provide better table service. I respect that more! I will be back one day for lunch, i am done with their breakfast!

Everytime I visit this shop for a cup or a bite(or both) I am pleasantly surprised by the service and charm I encounter. This is quickly becoming one of my favorite spots in North County.

WARNING! I will NEVER come back to this place. As a black woman, I was singled out by an older white woman who is an employee during a client meeting of mine. Though there were two groups of whites who were just sitting around talking, she walked up to me and my client(another black woman) and the first thing she said was, «you can’t be here if you don’t buy something!» Mind you — I had just purchased an overpriced small $ 4.34 iced chai tea. Humiliating. The icing on the cake is after I told her I purchased a coffee and my client a muffin, she came and sat at a table near us, I guess to «watch us». Disgusting. Now, I understand why I rarely see people who look like me in a predominantly black area of Ferguson. This place is never even close to full. Hopefully people take their hard earned money elsewhere.

I was told this place had great food and I should check it out. I had some reservations due to some of the reviews, but tried it out anyway. We ordered our food at 9:25am with 3 people in front of us and didn’t get out food until 10:00am. When we got our food after inquiring about what was taking so long, the pancakes were not cooked thoroughly and my hashbrowns did not have cheese on them like ordered. When we spoke to the manager about the length of time the food took, she said their were 10 people in front of us and the food was made fresh, that’s the best she could do. I should also mention that the person that ordered after us, got his food atleast 10 minutes before we got ours. Not pleased at all and we will not be going back.

Been here quite a few times. They have great coffee and baked goods. I opted for the biscuits and gravy today but I am a little disappointed. It definitely seems like it isn’t made from scratch. I don’t understand that everything else would be made fresh but te gravy, but oh well. Their scones are to die for, and is what I usually get myself. Other than the gravy its a great place tho.

I was actually not impressed with this place at all. I passed by it many times, and decided to give it a chance. My husband and I got in and looked at the menu and found nothing that really appealed to us. We ended up just ordering coffee. It was a tad bit more than I wanted to pay for coffee… and I didn’t even LIKEIT! We will never go there again.

Poor service, terrible coffee and awful food. Corner Coffee House is one of the only coffee shops in Ferguson. That is unfortunate because it is horrible. They serve coffee from the Chauvin Coffee Company, which is good, but the baristas are poorly trained, resulting in wretched coffee. They look confused when you ask if they brew pour over or French press. Their food is awful. When the cashier is paying attention, your order comes 10 to 30 minutes after ordered and usually is not what you ordered. They bring some of what was ordered but not all of it, and you have to ask them several times to bring out the rest of your food. The food at Corner Coffee House is low quality. When I was there for lunch, I ordered a veggie wrap, and I got packaged salad mix in a wrap. I do not recommend the Corner Coffee House.

My new breakfast spot in NoCo. Now, i’ll admit, I’ve only had the bacon-egg-cheese croissant and hasbrowns, but it’s been on several occassions and haven’t been disappointed yet. Loved it!

Great coffee and great service. Had a Wild Monkey — delicious, perfect mix of chocolate and banana. Really nice place with plenty of room. I wish I had a chance to try some of their food — it’s really nice to see a coffee place with real food — they have pancakes, soups and sandwiches.

Cute and friendly place. Breakfast is good and coffee is decent. One of the girls can make a pretty great espresso, but she is not always available. Great place for a quick and cozy breakfast weekend breakfast. Or for a monthly coffee date with friends

My bf and I stopped in for a quiet weekday breakfast. Ordered soy latte but had to wait for employee to go purchase soy milk from the grocery store across the street:(but once it was served coffee was tasty! We both ordered the biscuits and gravy which hit the spot and I would order again for sure! Good little local spot for coffee breakfast and conversation!

My local mom’s club has been going to here for a couple of years. There are normally 5 – 7 of us. We all order food and drinks for ourselves and our kids. The shop has an entire area in the back filled with toys and books. Over the past year or so, we have made the decision to stop having our meetings here. The food has gotten worse and worse. The pancakes taste like onions(dirty griddle), the mixed coffee drinks are all ice and syrup, twice there has been a hair in someone’s food. But I think the worst part is the Manager. Every time she has been working when we were there she has caused an issue with someone. And not just our group! There were two people having a meeting of some sort at one of the booths, they had apparently finished eating some time ago, and were still sitting at the table talking. This manager asked them to leave if they weren’t going to order anything else. There were about 3 other tables taken besides that one and the one we were using. The place was empty. They looked at her like she was crazy and left. The last time we were there as a group, she complained that the kids were playing too much(??). We are all stay at home moms with typical kids. We are very aware of how loud they are being as to not bother other patrons. The interesting thing about her complaint was that not 5 minutes earlier, an older man from the ONLYOTHER group in the entire restaurant had stopped by our group to tell us what joy it brought them to watch the kids play. He even told us stories about his own kids and said how much ours reminded him of his younger«dad» days. Even when she is just taking an order she is rude. And unfortunately the other employees aren’t much better. We have started going to DeLeo’s in Florissant instead and they are so incredibly kind the food is much better.

Just not that great. I mean they are trying hard I guess but service was fair. We were looking for breakfast, which had been previously provided at lunch time, but this appears to be a «if we feel like still making breakfast» but they do have breakfast sandwiches. So if you want lunch, some good specials actually so that is cool, soups? two options, cappacuino thought. not so great. not great at all. I went to starbucks after .so dont stop by for an espresso based drink but brewed coffee might be good :)

I was in the neighborhood with time to kill and a project in progress. I ordered a latte and a chocolate chip cookie. Latte was delicious and the cookie chewy and chunky. Thanks to their free wifi, I had a snack and got a few things accomplished. Limited parking in the lot. Friendly barista. ~10 minute drive north of UMSL’s campus.

Have had mixed coffee concoctions here several times along with a breakfast sandwich or cinnamon roll. Nice place to hang out at or just grab and go. Great to support local business.
