In the area for the weekend and stopped in for coffee and a pastry. I had a cappuccino & scone, my husband a brewed coffee and muffin. Great coffee & friendly people. Bike shop too. Love it. Will come back when we’re in area.

This place is the jam. Great coffee, and Mark and his crew are outstanding. If you’re in northern Kentucky, and you need a good cup of coffee, you need to check this place out right away.

First timer here and I have to say I loved the first impression I got as I walked in. I loved how relaxed the atmosphere was and customer service as well as other customers and their friendliness. I got the Lavender Mocha(awesome and unexpected combination!) and the Banana Nut muffin mmmm so yummy. Can’t wait to try a second time and review again!

Lovely coffee shop with amazing coffee! Love the vintage décor with all the bikes in the shop… It’s too bad they had run out of organic milk and gluten free goodies. I did enjoy my French Roast French press though. Cheers!

This place is great! Coffee is delicious and the customer service is excellent. Hands down the best coffee joint in Florence. Also, I’ve been to events where Velocity catered the coffee and breakfast items– all were of top-notch quality and presented nicely.

Do you enjoy biking, coffe, scones and pleasent company. This is the place. The front end is comfortably and tastefully decorated. There is ample seating for 30 plus. The coffee is good and well prepared. If in the area a definite place to stop. Very convenient location off EXIT181 off of I75. If you are a local this is already you favorite coffee shop.

WOW, I was not expecting this cool of a coffee shop way out here, but low and behold, Velocity Bike and Bean is the second coming of «Angry Catfish,» the famous bike-and-coffee shop in Minneapolis. Great coffee, nice staff, fast wifi, and a cool little bike shop. Worth a trip!

This is a great little gem in NKY right next to the Healthy Alternatives food market. Their coffee is always delicious and very well made with quality ingredients. Their service can be a tad slow at times given how small it is but that’s ok for the quality result! There is a good amount of comfy seating and they have acoustic music on Saturday mornings. They also sell an assortment of coffee related accessories and beans/ground, as well as being a bike repair shop to boot! Love this place!

This place is a very pleasant surprise! I am only in Florence for a couple of days but was tired of sitting in my hotel room. I looked up coffee places on Unilocal and this was the closest one, being about a mile walk. So I strapped up the boots and made the trek… And it was worth every step of it. It’s a really cool simple atmosphere. The bike shop is in the back, with the coffee part up front. They had some great music playing, and the coffee, the coffee is great! I got an Americano with an extra shot in it. The shots were pulled extremely well and the Carabello beans that it was pulled from were masterfully roasted. If you’re in Florence, Kentucky and are a coffee drinker this place is a must try!

Such great coffee in such a wonderful atmosphere. It could be a month between visits and they still recognize me :)

Velocity saved us from horrible hotel«coffee»! The french pressed signature blend was a great medium for me and my mom, while my godmom enjoyed the dark roast. We sipped, relaxed and played a few card games [other card and board games offered]! Great find right outside of the Cincinnati airport.

Great, local coffee shop. If you like coffee, stick to the basics. The specials are ok, but they shine in providing quality coffee at a good price. The scones are great, and the atmosphere quaint and casual. I can’t speak for the bike-side of the place, but it seems they do a fair bit of business there too. Highly recommended!

One of my favorite spots in Florence. Mark is super cool, the vibe feels good and it combines two of my favorite things. coffee & bikes. The locally roasted carabello coffee is great. If you are in the area make sure to stop by.

This place is one of a kind! I usually get the Nutella Mocha which is like nothing else you have ever tried! I always feel bad because I’ve had to make expresso before and it’s not the best thing. The gentleman always is so cool and friendly. The atmosphere is awesome. It’s also a bike shop where you can get your bike fixed or buy one. I’ve never seen anything like it. The atmosphere is always laid back and chill. I have even taken my son in with me before and he had a blast looking at all the cool things and playing checkers. The only thing I’m exited about for my next school semester is going here to study. Gives me the perfect excuse to buy coffee from the shop and not get yelled at by the wife to «just use the Keurig»… This place doesn’t even compare to that darn thing! Keep up the great work! Super impressed and recommend this place to everyone!

Super interesting place. Rustic décor with clever and related antiques. Tables, couches, comfy chairs and a surprising, open bike shop for repairs. For purchase too, I suppose. Place is packed with café types absolutely enjoying the relaxing, yet stimulating ambience. The café counter is well done and they use Square on a Mini to charge you. You know it’s hip then. Coffee was excellent and Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cake excellent although I really was looking for a protein breakfast. This establishment is a must see, especially with a sidekick and especially if you have 15 or 20 minutes to sit and enjoy.

Nice place. Good coffee. Plus bikes. Well, repairs, anyway. The nice fellow(owner?) In the back told me they sell Jamis and other bikes, there’s just no room for them in the store. No equipment in sight. Coffee drinks(Americano, traditional macchiato) are ecxellent. People are nice. Great décor includes Horton Collection old-timey bike racing pics plus wooden antiques and comfy furniture. Pleasantly surprised to find this sort of indy big-city coffeehouse vibe here in NKY. Note the signage is hard to spot from the street(next to the natural food store) but worth the hunt.

Just passing through on our way to Tennessee. I’ve heard about this place by just searching on Unilocal for awesome cafés around the Cincinnati area. Nutella mocha… yum! Love the atmosphere. The location was unexpected(next to a chiropractor office) but when you walk inside it’s peaceful and seems to be a lovely place to just hangout. Coffee was delicious and we definitely will be back if we pass through this area again.
