My friend and I were traveling through KY and decided to stop for the night. We chose Baymont because of her previous great experience with another one. The ladies on duty were great, we would rate them a four but… the lobby reeked of cigarette smoke, there was no elevator to the 2nd floor, the AC was broke, the ice machine on the 2nd floor was broke and the carpets could have used cleaning. It definitely needed updating. Our room was clean but there were two big stains on the floor that probably couldn’t have been removed with stain remover. The ACDID work in our room… thank God. Again… high marks for the ladies on duty but low marks on cleanliness and maintaince. There was a breakfast served in the a.m. that was«ok». The date we stayed was around July 26, 2015. I sure hope they got the AC fixed by now!

We stayed overnight here last week, rooms were clean, staff was super nice, continental breakfast was full of variety. Had a super stay there. Really enjoyed it.

This hotel was awful. We traveled down from CT and there were men on the tailgates of their truck, staring at us, while drinking beer, and then they would hit on us. Our beds had bugs in them, the ac was broken, the wifi, pool and cable were all down. Just a waste of money. Avoid at all costs.

The hotel management did not plan properly for this Saturday evening by checking their forecasted reservations. The hotel was at 80% capacity and was not ready to handle the amount of guest. There was only one employee scheduled and could not check in guest properly not alone to help those with requests. The hotel ran out towels which are worn and need updated. The temperature in the common areas and hallways were unbearable. It is summer time in the Ohio valley, please turn on the AC! Like other posts stated, this hotel needs a deep cleaning. The hallway and room carpets need a deep cleaning. No excuse for mold on shower curtains. This place needs some attention and upgrades. Will not stay here or any other Baymont.

This hotel deserves no stars. Their rooms and halls smell smoky. They cover it up by saying you have booked a ‘smoking room’. Their reservation policies are tricky. Stay somewhere else. It’s not worth the money.

The family and I travelled to Florence, KY to catch a Reds vs Brewers game in Cincinnati. Overall, had a great time in the area. The hotel, however, is another story. Seeing as my wife and I planned the trip, we booked four rooms, and had our family members from other areas check in and pay for their own rooms. This is a rather routine practice amongst families who travel and meet up in an area. The hotel was dingy and seemed dirty. Walls were scuffed, towels were stained, shower was moldy and had a recent patch job done on the fiberglass tub. Overall, shoddy hotel. What made it worse was upon check out, the employee at the desk charged two of the four rooms to our account, instead of to my sister-in-law. The name on the reservation had already been changed(when we checked in the night before), the new credit card had been provided upon her check-in, but the employee just decided on her own to charge the room to us. She was apologetic when her mistake was discovered, but here’s the kick: even though she reversed the charges and charged the correct card, it will take TWOWEEKS for the funds to be returned to us. So for the next two weeks, this company got paid twice for the same room. They’re real quick to take your money, but much slower to give it back, even when it was their employee who screwed the pooch. Moral of the story if you choose to stay here: bring hand sanitizer and Lysol or Febreeze(maybe even your own towels and sheets) and watch their employees like a hawk when it comes time to check out.
