This is one of those reviews that was almost not written. I stopped in at this restaurant because it was close to where I was staying and the roads were frozen over. Needles to say I didn’t want to venture out. Plus when I looked at Unilocal, there were some pretty negative reviews. I gave them the benefit of the doubt, and I’m glad I did. Not only was the atmosphere full of energy, but the staff, and especially my server Tara, were very hospitable and cheerful. Additionally, the menu was not what I expected. The items were current; such as the grilled Brussels sprouts and steamed spaghetti squash and I had the ribs– which were delicious. A great experience all around, plus I saved a little money, because it was so affordable. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a restaurant that is affordable and has great tasting food.

We were in town for the apple festival and stopped in to have dinner. Most everyone knows that Ruby Tuesday has a great salad bar and I was really looking forward to a salad. However, while waiting to be seated I noticed the salad bar was a MESS. I saw an employee refilling the plates, containers, etc and thought — Oh, he must be cleaning it and refilling. That wasn’t the case though. My husband and I ate our entrée’s — the food was average and looked as though it was thrown on the plate. Half way through our meal I visited the restroom and took a few photos of the salad bar. I saw who I assumed to be the manager stroll by a few times but nothing was ever done about the horribly dirty salad bar. Our little girl was getting antsy and not feeling well so we had to leave in a hurry so I didn’t get to speak to the manager but when we left the salad bar was in the exact state as when we first came in. My family and I usually dine at this location when in town but I’m not sure we’ll visit this location again.

First of all, let me say, that if you go to a Ruby Tuesday, you pretty much know what you are going to get. So, it is unfair to compare it to a real restaurant, or even to a cool locally owned and locally sourced restaurant. So, this review is comparing with what is around in this particular area that is not really in Ashville, but is close enough to make you wish that you had driven into Ashville. This is an OK place in an area where there is not much competition. In this particular area there are about a half dozen of the usual chain places, none of which is very inspiring, and all of which are over priced for the frozen, mass produced products they attempt to pass off as food. This having been said, this place is no worse than any other Ruby Tuesday you may be stuck at eating. I had some sort of fish that would have been good if it had not been covered by whatever gravy thing they thought would be a sauce. The veggies, had the consistency of colored cardboard, and probably about as much items left in them. I did have a unsweetened Raspberry Tea that was actually pretty good. The server was sincere, and did a great job of bringing the orders, keeping the glasses full, and generally spreading cheer in an otherwise mundane setting.

I ordered the mini classic burgers. Basic. They came burned. They forgot the puckles. When they brought them to me. they tasted like cold fried fish. Nasty. Our server was extremely nice and accommodating. The manager came to talk to us and took care of things. He was super nice about it.

It was about half full when we came and service was subpar. At one point every server disappeared to go eat chocolate cake, only know this bc the bartender said so loudly. This is extremely rude and unprofessional. You should not be eating food instead of tending to the people you are waiting on. Probably will not come back again.

I’m writing a review because I feel this place is getting an undeserved rap. We mostly have to go to standard, chain restaurants due to brats addicted to chicken nuggets and burgers. I am glad we went here. The manager was on the ball(I did not need him; I could just see this), food was excellent, and service was fine. Clean joint. I liked the hostess– she was perky and helpful to a large group that came in and was instantly accommodated for. Prices were right for us. Would definitely go again if I am in that neck of the woods.

Food was ok. Nothing remotely remarkable. The server forgot about 2 seperate things she had specified that she would do. I am not impressed at all.

Went there for dinner tonight and got the shrimp and pasta. Well they had put way too much seasoning on the shrimp to where I couldn’t even eat it. The manager came by and asked if everything was OK and I said yes except that the shrimp was way to spicy. He went back and made me a new order without the spice. He handled it in a timely manner. I would recommend going here.

I haven’t been to a Ruby Tuesday in awhile. My grandma lives nearby it and had coupons so we went. Our meals were good and the salad bar was great. I had grilled salmon and it was perfect. The best part was our waitress Raquel. She did an outstanding job! I am sure we will be back in the future because of our great experience and good meal yesterday.

Not ever going again. Food is all seasoned too much. Paid extra for prime meat & they threw seasoning into the burgers. Asked for unsweetened tea & got sweet tea. If you pay $ 2.00 extra a piece & the meat is prime, why would they add seasoning? Horrible burgers! Spoke to manager & he just replied«it’s Corporate». Didn’t realise the tea was sweet(husband is a diabetic) until we got the bill which said sweet tea. Questioned the waitress, Marie & she confirmed or was sweet tea. Hubby always puts two sweet ‘n lows in tea & could tell it was tasting different, too sweet. Never going back!

I did not enjoy my two visits to this location. The service was poor, not polite. The bar area smelled like old, stale beer. The salad bar looked messy, like no one wanted to touch it. And the food and drink prices are out of line with the quality. There are better chain restaurant options near this location. I highly recommend you select one of them.

Wow I’m not sure if it is this particular location or the franchise that has gone down hill. 80 bucks for 2 people and all of the food was sub standard. The salad bar is a joke now. Do not eat here.

He said: For a late night bite it was fine. I was pleased that they cooked fresh for us(read below tho). However, there was something up with the crab bites– they smelled so bad we sent them back. The waitress said they don’t make em there, but they come in frozen. They need to go back on the truck — gross. She said: We went in about a half an hour before closing time, so we only ordered 3 appetizers to share. The food we received was freshly prepared, but had been hurriedly cooked and wasn’t up to Ruby Tuesday’s usual standards(in fact, we had to send the crab bites back because they smelled ‘wrong’). I just think that the last customer of the day deserves the same quality of food as the first customer does(and we weren’t the last customers of the day… others came in after us).

Yep, it’s Ruby Tuesday’s. What else can I say? It’s as good as any other Ruby’s I’ve been to. Nuff said.
