Blue Ridge Tavern

Terrible service, bartender will not stay behind the bar. She is never there when you need her. Asheville omelet was average. Would love to cash out… tempted to walk out.

As a frequent traveler and Asheville local, I have many opportunities to eat and drink at Blue Ridge Tavern. I am always thrilled when I see that Arizona is working the bar. She’s courteous, attentive and very pleasant while continually multi tasking. The food is consistently good as well and I receive regular updates on flight arrivals which allows plenty of time to order and eat.

We has an early flight and wanted to grab something to eat, so we looked at the menu and we decided upon the Asheville Omlette We asked the bartender/​server about the portion size and we decided to share it. I’m so glad that we did! It was the perfect size for sharing and the food was fresh and flavorful. They also sell many craft beers and Angry Orchard, which you all know is my favorite. I highly recommend you grabbing a bite to eat here!

Really solid food and always friendly and timely service. Grass fed beef burgers, good breakfast, sweet potato fries and a few very nice salads. You can sit and eat/​drink in the table area or stand in the café line and get a locally roasted coffee. I got here early today and decided to eat and watch some nfl playoffs on my way out of town.

For airport food I was pretty happy! All the girls here were very nice and our server was very attentive.
This restaurant was tucked behind the only store in the whole airport. I almost didn’t see it but the sign out front cause my sisters attention and the word «biscuit» caught mine.
We came in and sat down. We were the first ones for the day so our server kept on top of us-​in a good way! I think they understand they need to turn their tables quick since they are on a time crunch with short layovers and such.
Food was good. I just got a biscuit sandwich and some home fries. All the food here is very southern. The menu isn’t big for breakfast, maybe ⁵⁄₆ items? But it worked for me.

Great place to grab a drink or quick bite to eat on your way out. Only a couple of local beers though, even though they sell various pint glasses. :(

Great food and great people. Local beers and superb service. Menu changes regularly. Try it you won’t be disappointed at any time of day.

Food isn’t bad at all and they can get you moving to your flight quickly too. The beer prices are quite quite outrageous but awesome that they specialize in local beers like French Broad, Asheville Brewing Company, Green Man, and more. If you can get Wedge… then wow. Friendly staff.
…but I swear the price was $ 8 for a pint. I about dropped my jaw.

As airport bars go this one is a cut above. Several local beers are on draft along with a full bar. Food is decent sandwiches and other choices. If you have to wait for your flight this isn’t a bad place to kill time and a couple of brews.

WOW! I am SOOO Impressed with this little airport restaurant! The food is legitimately gourmet (try the red pepper and tomato soup as well as the portobello mushroom fries) and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful.
The prices were very reasonable considering it is inside of an airport and I am just so thrilled with how tasty my meal was!
My bartender was Zach and he completely changed my stressed-​out mood. It is easy to forget that I am in an airport.
I am sad that this restaurant does not exist outside the airport but would absolutely recommend it to anyone visit the Asheville Airport.

Great local beer on tap and friendly service while you wait to board your plane.
The prices are high by Asheville standards ($ 6.75 a pint) but still lower than anything in Manhattan… so I indulged in two beers while waiting.
The Asheville Brewing Co. Ninja Porter was so incredible… I don’t know how I hadn’t had one before!
They’ll give you a sample of any beer you want to try so test it out first before you jump in if you are in doubt.
