Bluefish Grill has been a favorite of mine for years. They always have incredible quality food and amazing flavor. The fries are to die for, do try. Only negative is the pricier nature of the dishes, but in my opinion, 100% worth it!

Great food and great people. Run by a local family. My favorites are the Tokyo tacos, the Asian Vert salad with Tuna Steak and the massive but amazing Cali-Mex burrito. Ask for Karim as a waiter. He’s my kids’ favorite waiter ever. Also this is BYOB so bring your favorite or settle for the New Jersey wines that can be sold without a full license.

So I fought my wife when she asked me to go out tonight in Flemington to the Blue Fish Grill. But I gave in since it was a while since we had a night out without the kids. Man, I am glad I gave in… This place was AWESOME. I ordered wings as an appetizer. Best wings I have had in NJ. I asked our waiter Karim(who you thought was part owner — he was attentive, friendly and knew the menu like he was the chef) how they made these wings. They smoke their wings first and finish them off on the fryer. Juicy and perfectly cooked. The hot sauce is homemade and damn good. For my entrée I had mex-Cali burrito. My wife had fish tacos. Both of these were great — job well done with the favors. Everything we ate was thoughtfully done. This will be our go to spot in Flemington!!!

Love the fish tacos here. One of the best places to eat in Flemington for a very good price.

We’ve been here 4 or 5 times & the food never disappoints. Tokyo Tacos were great, as were the Calamari appetizer & Asian Vert salad. Every special I’ve tried has been delicious. Place is BYOB. Service is very attentive & friendly. They also have a nice outdoor patio. The only drawback is that it can be noisy when it’s crowded.

Indoor and outdoor seating available for this family style restaurant. It’s in a row of small mom and pop places and they’re nice to walk through on this Saturday afternoon. I ordered the Tokyo taco that was $ 11 with $ 2 extra for fries. Reviewers are not exaggerating with the quality of food; this was amazing. The salmon was made with love and expert grilling! Servers were polite. Very busy so service was slow. Worth the wait. Very happy.

This was a really cool place to eat. Set right off of main street and right around the corner from the Liberty Outlets, Blue Fish Grill proves to be an excellent choice whether its lunch time or dinner. What makes this restaurant unique is that it is connected to a café. The waiter we had was very kind, helpful and knowledgeable. Although the menu isnt large, I had a hard time deciding because everything seemed fairly appetizing. The waiter gave me his suggestions and I ultimately went with one of his options; Baja Tacos. I have to say, I was surprised how good they actually were. The portion size was generous, and the food was pretty clean. All in all, it was a very pleasant experience and i would go there again. It makes for an awesome date night too. If anything I would try to up the ambiance a bit but that all I can think of.

Absolutely great food. Po boy or skirt steak burrito. .can’t go wrong. A lot of other items look slammin too I just haven’t gotten to them yet. Plantains are also great. Only con, if u order a few meals and want fries, with all of them, it becomes an expensive visit. Dont forget fries are separate.

1st time here and I’ll defiantly be coming back. This hidden gem is a must«to do» on the bucket list. The food was extremely goooood! We shared Salmon Fries and Fried Calamari. For entries we had the Mahi Mahi Latin bowl, the grilled Shrimp Salad and the special Grouper Sandwich. We were lucky that we snuck in without a reservation because the hosted felt bad for us, so I recommend getting a reservation.

This was our first time here, great appetizers calamari /mussels in curry broth the entrées were good need to change the shoe string fries for steak fries for the fish and chips, our waitress was great, always there but not in your face… The ambiance needs help its one step up from McDonald’s, not a place for a romantic dinner but as a get together with friends spot on! If the above was addressed this would be my Friday night go to …

Excellent food! BYOB if you want to. Tokyo Tacos were amazing, as was the salmon taco special. I don’t think you will go wrong with anything on the regular or specials menus! Service was attentive and pleasant.

While there wasn’t much room for improvement from our last visit, Blue Fish Grill someone managed to improve upon perfection. From smiling and friendly welcomes, attentive service and outstanding menu with just the right number of choices, we’re glad to be back! Definitely start with the calamari — so crisp and crunchy in the perfect batter, followed by a generous serving of their well-battered fish and seasoned fries. Special sal-cal burrito was delightful — freshly smoked grilled salmon with cilantro rice, avocado salad, greens and salsa were outstanding.

Try the tacos! And the ½ tea & ½ lemonade. Everything in the menu is delicious! I’ve had the salmon, Mahi Mahi, calamari, tacos, & the sides. All the food is grilled over a wood burning grill. BYOB but you can purchase a bottle of wine if you like. The service is wonderful & the building is an old pottery factory with alot of charm. One of my favorites!

Kale salad with French fries is my go to, so yummy. A little pricey and the kale salad is a little small, but it is extremely tasteful. Fries are to die for.

Stopped here for date night with my hubby after hearing about it from some friends. The ambiance is pretty casual(we were a bit worried if we were under dressed but we were OK!). I had oysters, and my husband had a shrimp sandwich(forgot the name). Good service, and reasonably priced. Can’t really say much for Oysters because they were just steamed. Husband’s sandwich was good, but wasn’t anything we would rave about. I’d be willing to go back and try something else as it seems people love the other seafood options. Just wasn’t floored by our dishes.

We went here for my nephews birthday party. It was a great place. Big room, we had 12 people at our table so it was big. Everyone was able to get what they wanted. My nephew got to eat cake. And my sister said you provided some great service and helped her along with the celebration. Good selection of beers. Very good service.

Seriously delicious food, I’ve never had a disapointing meal here. Totally recommend the kale Caesar salad appetizer, and I love all their twists on «old favorites» in their menu. Staff is friendly and attentive, even when it gets super hectic(it’s a popular place and can get pretty crowded, reservations are recommended). When it’s warm, the outdoor seating option is nice. Prices are decent, portions are great. Décor is clean, minimalistic, and fun, and I like that it’s a repurposed building. Good options for folks who don’t like seafood too!

Blue Fish is an «off the beaten path» place that I was happy to find! Its BYOB, so you save on overpriced restaurant wine :) The food, is very very good. Its not the best I’ve ever eaten, but its also not super expensive. That’s a great combination. They have an outdoor seating area which is great in the nice weather! On the weekends, its crowded, so plan accordingly! They offer takeout if you wish to skip the wait. The décor is very simple, they don’t try to be pretentious. The menu changed in the last year, and some of the popular items like the fish tacos are no longer on the menu. Its one of my favorite places in Flemington for a causal meal with great food.

We happened upon this restaurant as a suggestion from a local and we were pleasantly surprised. What a great find! Small restaurant with nice amount of outdoor seating. We ate a nice Sunday lunch here. Our server was excellent and we followed his suggestions. One brisket sandwich with fries and the ahi tuna tacos. Both selections were great, just what we wanted. The fries were excellent too… however, the seasoning is a bit strange, salt, pepper and sugar. Can’t wait to try another food option and maybe byob.

Used to be one of my favorite fish taco place, but unfortunately their menu changed. My go to was always the BFG tacos, which were seriously one of the best fish tacos ever. Apparently, they took it off the menu the day before I came back to town for a visit. Previously fries and chips came with the fish tacos and sandwiches. Now you have to pay extra for them. I tried the Latin Mahi bowl, since my usual BFG tacos were missing. i’m not one to leave food on my plate. If I do, I usually pack it up. In this case, I didn’t want to bother bringing the dish home. The fish was really dry and the beans were bland. The redeeming factor of the dish were the caramelized plantains. Those were delicious at least. I wish the restaurant would return back to its original menu and quality of food. Now, the food isn’t as good and the prices are higher. This could be due to the fact that they moved from their original location to a larger building with two floors. I guess they need to cover the expense somehow, but I would have been happier had they stayed in their original location producing the high quality food that I had always attributed to them.
