I have come here twice now and I absolutely love the environment and the sandwiches are out of this world. The pastries look delicious I just haven’t tasted them yet. It’s quiet, yummy, clean, and reasonably priced for actual food. I couldn’t recommend more!

Cute place, but disappointing. We arrived about an hour and fifteen minutes after they opened so they should have been ready for business, but the food prep was very slow. There were no other customers waiting, so it’s not like they were backed up. The breakfast burrito we ordered was served to us cold and when we asked to have it heated up, they were genuinely puzzled as to how to accomplish this. I asked if the yogurt in the parfait was sweetened or plain, and was told it was plain but it was actually sweetened. However the granola and dried fruit in the parfait was quite nice. The breakfast sandwich was good but the ham was really salty. The quiche was good. The coffee in one of the dispensers was lukewarm. I can understand why the place was empty. Overall, I would not recommend.

Great spot for sandwich and salads. Excellent potato salad. I wish the seating was a little better, but due to the space it is what it is.

Holy burrito bombs! The breakfast burro is too LEGIT! Served all day. This thing doesn’t even need explaining. BY far and I’m not kidding, BYFAR the best one I have ever had. Eggs and tater tots and I don’t even know what else is in it. It doesn’t matter because the flavor hits another level with this bad boy. I’m addicted! Did I say home made tater tots in the burrito! Get some!

Super cute place in the ‘brewery district’ of Flagstaff. It’s set up market-style, so you can buy wine, beer, drinks, salads from the cooler, and they’ll make you a sandwich and bring it out. Sandwiches were really good(we had the ham and cheese — sweet and smoky! and the turkey with cranberry) and the beer selection is small but well-thought out. Quick and friendly service and reasonable prices(~$ 30 for 2 sandwiches with sides and 2 beers). Would definitely go back when in Flag.

when first came to tourist home it didn’t seem like they knew what they wanted to provide as a business. Since then things have greatly improved. I have been in love with the breakfast burrito but returned today only to learn that they decreased the size by 40% and kept the price the exact same. I bought this burrito every day or at least every couple days. Not enough food for the price especially when they made them so fairly for so long. Staff and service are always on point thats the only reason for 4 stars! Pastries are also an A+

I’ve only had a few things from here. The breakfast burrito was good although the texture was off. The potatoes had the same consistency as the eggs so it was really kind of mushy. Flavor was good though. A huge burrito but also quite pricey($ 10). Wish they made a smaller version for a smaller price. The pecan sticky buns and cold brew coffee alone keep me coming back. Customer service is friendly.

Stopped very early to get a breakfast before heading to Grand Canyon. Bf & I both agreed it was one of the best breakfast we’ve ever had. Poached eggs with pesto & grits and the most perfectly cooked bacon. I highly recommend their«homemade pop tart» if it’s on the menu that day. It’s adorable and so so SO good. Great coffee, must visit for Flagstaff. They have shopping baskets because they are trying to market themselves as a market too for homemade salads/meats, wine, etc. which I would DEFINITELY utilize as a Flagstaff resident. Modern and chic industrial design as if your friendly neighborhood butcher went to design school.

This is an interesting concept. A café and a market. As other wise noted the market part is small, but for those looking to put together a picnic lunch or some take home food it is great. During good weather there is a lot of seating because of the patio. During bad weather, the seating can be difficult, but not too much so. You should know that it is group seating. You order at the counter and a staff member brings your food out. The staff was very polite and informative. I had the tuna salad sandwich. It was moist and tasteful. The bread was awesome. The side salad had a very nice dressing on it. My wife had the hot ham and cheese. She took one bit, looked at me and said, «This is the best ham and cheese I have ever had.» She is usually a bit more reserved. I took one bit of it. I had thoughts of stealing it from her, but the consequences, oh those pesky consequences. There is a small but nice wine selection. The desserts display would ruin any attempt at a diet. The place is clean, well lit and not too noisy. The deli. So, you are going to a potluck and did not have time to make something. Give this place a try. Small but nice assortment of items, including salads, cheeses, etc. All-in-all a good experience. I will be back so that I can have my own ham and cheese next time.

Tourist House is a nice mix of historic and trendy. I saw the article about it in the most recent Arizona Highways Magazine. There is a lot of wonderful outdoor seating and nice indoor seating too. This business is a market and deli. They offer high-end local specialties. There really isn’t a large variety of items to choose from, just a few artistic displays. There are a few deli salads/prepared dishes and a few types of homemade sandwich meat, like roast beef. There are a few similar businesses in the immediate area. There is a café menu in the back. I ordered the special of the day, a steak omelet, $ 10. The omelet wasn’t very good, the egg part was thin the fillings just kind of fell out. The potatoes were super strange with a sweet sauce I couldn’t identify and a dollop of yogurt, also sweet. I also order an ice tea and for my taste it was too weak. We also had a donut and it was great, homemade. We had one omelet, an ice tea, and a donut; it cost $ 17.00, that is a lot. I like the atmosphere, but the food just wasn’t good enough to justify the prices. However, I might come back for a coffee and to enjoy the nice atmosphere. It is also a nice place to get food related souvenirs and gifts.

Veggie sandwich was delicious! Eggplant, sprouts, roasted red pepper, goat cheese. The side salad was light and flavorful. Seating outside was cozy with perfect weather.

This is a relatively new deli/market in town. It is located in a unique old building which used to be the site of an old hostel, at least according to a friend of mine. The market is small and a bit expensive, but it has some nice stuff that you can’t really find anywhere. I especially love their selection of cheeses and olives, and of course, they have Fentiman’s soda, including Dandelion and Burdock, which is my favorite. It’s owned by the same people who own the Tinderbox down the street, so I had expected their food to be good. It was. I ordered the chicken salad with potato salad and coleslaw. All of them were very unique, and very tangy. On my second visit, I had the pastrami sandwich and small salad, which was not really special, but the pastrami was of very high quality, which was nice. The customer service here was also very good. The woman who rang me up both times remembered me, and seemed to have a lot of pride in the menu there and she was quick to make suggestions on what to get. Every suggestion she made was great, and only heightened my enjoyment of the experience. I have a feeling however that this is not a place that most people would enjoy because the food served here during is not what you might typically find in Flagstaff or other places. However I really enjoyed it, and I am happy I do not live downtown because I would be here all the time if I was.

Did not have a ton of options, but what they did have looked great. I had the steel cut oat porridge & it was amazing! My husband had the quiche and waited quite a while to be served; however, he said it was totally worth the wait.

The cheesecake brownies are my favorite, I wish they made them a little bit bigger! I have to admit, I do get one once a week when they make them!

Best pastrami sandwich I’ve ever had! Homemade pastrami has a wonderful smokey flavor and the purple slaw makes it! I appreciate that they saved an historic building and created a go-to restaurant at the same time. I highly recommend.

I hate writing this review as I love the Annex and Tinder but this place seems to be lacking in the flavor dept with all it’s sandwiches. So I have had 4 now. I keep hoping that the next one will be fantastic but they just seem mediocre to me. Had the torts and I found it good but just not as flavorful as I’d hope. The Carne Asada was a bit on the chewy side. I had the Pork Loin today and felt the bread was a bit much, the pork not as tender as I would like and the BBQ sauce overpowering the whole sandwich. The bread was too much for the sandwich and slightly on the dry side. I am craving more from this place! Although they are fantastic next food this place is missing the thought of the mothership. I do love the warm Spinach salad for sure. But the sandwiches are lacking in that extra effort to really make them great! Maybe they need more time to find there way in this new space? I am not sure. I am only here to brings some awareness to the clan. I know I am the only one to really knock it but I am doing more of a critical review not a review based on a bad experience or so forth or no expertise in food. The food is tasty but it could move to stellar if tweaked a bit more. I’d also like to ask to look into more eco-friendly containers for water and so forth. Despite recycling bins it would be great to see cheap glasses being used instead of plastic. Yes more to wash but less waste. Don’t worry guys. Still love you and I am so glad your in this town. I was offering a point of view you may not hear. Thanks

Yay Unilocal for leading me to this semi hidden jewel during a recent Flagstaff road trip! I was a bit bummed that I walked in a few minutes past breakfast cutoff time but my quiche did not disappoint my post-run appetite. I really loved the market atmosphere — a mix of rustic and modern. With plenty of sitting options, including community tables and patio, my solo self enjoyed people watching from my window-side counter seat. I would definitely return… hopefully in time for breakfast! P. S. My peanut butter chocolate cake somehow made it back in 1 full piece back to Tucson. It was eaten a day late and was still yummy(missing a touch of cake m-word).

Great little place! Love the décor and ambiance! We just bought a bottle of wine, so my review is not based on their food. I would love to come back and try it since I am a big fan of Tinderbox Kitchen. I can’t wait to go back for lunch!

Have mercy. This place is amazing! Run, don’t walk, to this place and savor the turkey bacon sandwich, complete with herb cream cheese and cranberry compote. For dessert, grab a blackberry macaron, which for us, was as good as any macaron we had in Paris last summer. So glad to see a place of this quality on the south side of Flagstaff!
