So, I’ve come a few more times since my first visit, and the girl that works there when I go now is not the same. She listened to me when I asked if she could not take too much off my eyebrows and she does it in a way where it’s not so painful… I’m not sure how they do it, but I know if they slowly pull the thread across your face, it’s more likely to be painful. The girl I’ve had the last times is quick and generally, I only feel minimal discomfort. They seemed to also have updated their chairs? They’re newer and comfortable to sit in. I just like that I’m not sitting in the middle of a mall having other shoppers walk right past me while I’m having my eyebrows threaded. That was always really weird for me. Here, there’s a big window where people from outside and see in, but it’s at least a little more private than an open mall forum. Hah. Still, I really come here primarily for the cost — the lowest I’ve seen.

Stay away! So I was in town and got my nails done at the place next door. Which is awesome by the way. And I knew I should have just waited and gone to see my regular girl but I’m headed out on vacation and was trying to save time. Needless to say I still have to see my regular girl to see if she can fix this mess! I told my threader not to make my outer edge to thin because the color of those brows makes me look like I have NO brows if it’s too thin. Mistake there! It’s too thin and I look like I have half a brow on the left side. Then she didn’t thin out the inner corner enough and it’s bushy. They have an uneven arch and are uneven over all. And she made me bleed. How dare she make me bleed. Threading done properly does not involve blood. So my advice is, find a threader that knows what they are doing. This place clearly does not.

Have you ever had a bad threading experience? Have you given up on threading because it hurts? If so, please visit I Brows and give it another try. I have been to many threaders and have only found 2 that provide you with a nearly pain free experience. I was in town for business but made it my mission to get here! I arrived and she was closed to pick up her daughter from school so I hung out next door at the nail salon. She returned and the rest is history. Quick, fast professional service. Love it. Price 8 – 10 bucks!
