I love the garlic bread & the spaghetti is mediocre. But I had a horrifying exchange with an employee that will prevent me from ever returning. I went through the drive thru. Firstly, the man working the register looked dirty. Sweaty, hairy, unkempt, whatever adjective you please. He had gloves on & he takes me card. He looks at his gloved hand & notices his finger is bleeding into the glove. He immediately places my card down & leaves my line of sight– I assume to wash his hand & bandage the cut. He returns, runs my card, hands me the receipt to sign, & my bagged food. I look at all three items, my card, my receipt, my bag, & they’ve all got blood smudges on them. Upon the revolting sight of another’s blood all over my food & card, I look at his finger and notice he hasn’t bandaged it, he hasn’t put another glove on, he hasn’t even rinsed his finger off thoroughly! I was disgusted. Didn’t eat the food, needless to say & I haven’t returned since then. A shame, because I genuinely sort of enjoyed the food.

I am glad I didn’t read the reviews before I tried The Spaghetti Shop. I stopped on a whim and have satisfied several times over. The food is great for the price and the portions are excellent. The service is quick and friendly.

Not much for atmosphere but the food is good and cheap. Worth a stop once and a while.

Buy a jar of pasta sauce at the store for a dollar and a box of pasta for a dollar. Go home heat up the sauce and cook the noodles. You now have 10 times as much for for $ 2 and it will taste better than the Spaghetti shop. I’m not usually that harsh with my reviews but this place is absolutely horrible food. There was nothing original or tasty about the food I ordered. I feel silly that I even paid for it.

To the best of my knowledge, this is a small chain in the Midwest. They took over the old G.D. Ritzy’s building on Trenton Avenue. Their angle is fast Italian, and it definitely tastes like it. It’s not high quality, but it’s good for lunch. The only other restaurant I can think of to compare it to would be Fazoli’s, with the only exception being the Spaghetti Shop’s still open. I can only guess that its due the proximity of the establishment to the High School. The premises has booths and tables with a soda fountain near the dining area. It’s quite like any other fast food place.
