Not too bad I’ll admit. I ordered drunk on a Wednesday(Thursday morning) at like 3 am and they delivered. This was the only place to deliver this late, the driver seemed ready to go home, but I don’t blame him at this time. Good food for being so late.

Over 2hrs to get food from them… I would never recommend this place… I’ll post a message if the food ever comes! But Don’t plan on it… Like getting your food from them… 2hrs and 30min later… It was free cold no calorie to eat the food despite I asked for it since I’m at a hotel? I think one start was being to nice

It’s 2015. I ordered a half and half pizza. Half cheese pizza with light red sauce and half white pizza with caramel. ized onions, ricotta cheese, and spinach. I communicated with the pizza place 6 times and the driver 2. Totally 8 times and and 1hour + 30min to deliver my pizza. Pizza was EXTREMELY dry and old. Caramelized onions… Were onion wrings? I give two stars because deliver guy I feel did the best he could and order was free. My advice? Give an accurate reading of ETA and don’t take on more orders than you can handle. Leave room for other companies. #Unity

This was an awful experience. After we placed our delivery order, we waited 70 minutes before calling to inquire about the order since our estimated delivery time had passed. The person on the phone was incompetent and found my order on his phone but said their printer never printed it out. He was apologetic but did not offer any reasonable solution to the problem. Most reasonable establishments would offer at least a discount or expedient delivery since it was their error. He offered none of that and said he could get us the food in the normal 60 minute window… after the 70 minutes we had already waited. I even asked if he could push our order up in line and he said no. NEVERORDERTAKEOUTFROMTHISRESTAURANT. Worst customer service experience to date and management needs to reassess how they deal with customers and their whole«printer» situation.

I’ll more then likely never eat here again. maybe a appetizer, but that’s not likely… I got the beef rids platter with yellow rice and 2 sides… the ribs only taste well due to the bbq sauce on them, the rice was tasteless. The mac n cheese had a nerve to be a knock off kraft(the blue box blues), the brocoli was the best tasting thing in the entire platter. I also ordered the mega fries with wiz, mozzarella, and bacon… the wiz was extremely heavy which killed it for me, oh! And they gave me pita bread which was greasy and looked like someone picked at it…$ 22.oo wasted… don’t even bother, if I wasn’t at work and had a car, I would have got my money back

This store has changed owners so ignore my previous comment. Still pretty good though

Ordered a white pizza and they made a regular pizza. I have a tomato allergy so of course I couldnt eat it. I called and asked for the correct order and they seemed kind and offered to deliver even though I am only 2 blocks away, so the driver gets to my apt and says his boss wanted the other pizza back. I said no, I had given it to my roommate who had eaten half of it already and his boss demanded I pay for the white pizza!!! WHAT A JERK! I wont ever order from this place again. The food is disgusting anyways so its no big deal to me.

I ate there a couple weeks back. The menu looked good, however that is where the good ended. Steak: Reminded me of shoe leather. Tasteless. Broccoli: Mush, with hints of bland. Mac n Cheese: I’m not sure that this was actually anything. There was literally no taste. Rice: Nothing to write home about. Mozzarella Sticks: These would have been good, had they not tasted like a salt shaker. Seriously, it was that salty. Service was so so and I did not finish my meal due to the terrible quality. I will NOT be back.

If you want fast foods, I guess you can come here. The food was ok; the price is neither pricey nor cheap. It was just about what some other places would charge. The service was good and friendly. I just didn’t like that it is located right under Fat Tuesday and so the noise from upstairs really carried on downstairs. As for as décor, it is not the best looking, could have been worse. I didn’t feel quite comfortable seating there to eat. The people who come in and out looked shady.

My friend and I were walking around all day, and I was really in the mood for a slice of pizza. And there she was, like an urban mirage, Tekka Grill. I was so happy, and ready to get down on two slices of delicious, cheesy pizza. I swung the doors open of this pizza palace and… whoa. Ok, so we walk in and step up to the counter. My friend and I both turned to each other at the same time. Here’s how that conversation went: «What the #%^* is that smell?» «I know. It’s so strong.» «Something rotten, right?» «Yeah, man. Like rotten uncooked chicken. « “Holy crap, it is chicken.» So yeah, the place was overcome with the putrid odor of decaying chicken carcasses. So sorry, can’t report on any food consumption here. By the way, the guy making food wasn’t wearing gloves and the owner just stood there, giving us a piercing stare the whole time, as if he was angry at us for coming in during the chicken rotting ritual. As far as atmosphere, the place can be called charming, but only if you’re being super nice. It’s got a very retro feel, as if you’re walking into a Kensington Ave. pizza joint in 1978. Ah, brings back fond memories. I don’t think the owner of this place truly gets the food business, and I think that might be the only problem here. A little cleanliness and some customer service might do the trick. Best of luck.

This place is open late and delivers to me in South Philly so we ordered delivery. It’s typical. Some stuff is good some stuff isn’t so amazing. We couldn’t decide what we wanted so we got a bunch of stuff. My thoughts: Mozzarella sticks — Bangin. Then again I was a little drunk. But definitely better than Isabella’s. Normal bangin ass mozz sticks. Curly fries — Bangin. Macaroni and cheese — Just no. Ugh. Then again, I’m spoiled by Khyber. Pizza with bacon — I don’t understand why my boyfriend ordered this. It wasn’t bad, it wasn’t amazing, but it was good enough that we ate the leftovers. Cheers!

Good food & good service. My office sometimes orders from here for lunch meetings. Each time the food has been delicious! I would recommend the ribs.

Friday night. Long lines, decent service. My friends and I came here after scouring South Street for some food. One friend was craving a Philly Cheese Steak. Couldn’t find Pat’s or Geno’s, so we settled for Takka Grill & Pizza. It seemed busy enough so that the food would be fresh and enough people liked its food, so why not? The wait was quite long, since there were about 15 people in line, and per usual, a small group of people crowding near the cashiers to wait for their order to arrive. Quite annoying, but expected. ( ) Ordered two Philly Cheesesteaks with American Cheese and a bottle of water. Plain and simple. Came out to $ 19. I’m not sure if this was a good deal or not, but we’ll decide after I try it out. The cashier gave $ 2 change instead of $ 1.5x. His reasoning? The line was too long, and he was trying to hurry up the process. I’m not sure how I feel about this — I’ve never been to a place that rounded up the change. When the Cheesesteaks arrived, we noticed them to be about 10 inches each.( )Decent size. Bread was soft enough to chew through, and the meat was all right. I wouldn’t say this is the better cheesesteaks I’ve tried — a notch above those that my school serves(which isn’t saying much). Passable, I guess.

Not a bad place for cheap pizza shop eats. I’ve only stopped in here for some pizza on two occasions but wouldn’t mind swinging by to try their kebab dishes at some point.

Star off for a long wait. But, me and a friend went here for lunch Thanksgiving weekend. Food was great. She ordered a cheeseburger and I got steak quesadillas. Though I haven’t had it in a while, I do recall great pizza as well.

Oh, La Pizzeria, how I miss you. For anyone who doesn’t know, there used to be a different pizza and cheesesteak place under Fat Tuesday’s called La Pizzeria, and I loved it. I’m actually from the area so I don’t think that the big 3(Pats, Geno’s, and Jim’s) are the 3 places you gotta go to get a cheesesteak. Everyone knows Jim’s is the best of the three but if it’s not 2 in the morning, go somewhere better. If you’re on South Street, it’s always tempting to go to Jim’s, but there are some real downsides. One, it’s a tourist trap. Two, the lines are often ridiculous. Three, I don’t know if they put something in the air vents or what, but you cannot go into Jim’s without smelling like you’ve rubbed your entire body with onions for a week. Seriously, your clothes will take multiple washes to get that smell out. Now, I think Jim’s makes a decent steak, but I always preferred La Pizzeria. So it was with great sadness that I saw that it was gone when I came back East to visit my family. But I figured it was worth a shot to find out if this new place was up to snuff. The verdict? It’s not La Pizzeria, but it’s pretty damn good. Definitely still better than going to Jim’s(or those other two disgusting crap joints) both for the sandwich itself and for just being a more pleasant place to eat. I so miss La Pizzeria though. Sigh.

So I’m also a huge Jim’s fan but didn’t want to wait in the ridiculous line on Saturdays. Saw the beast Unilocal reviews and decided to try this place out. I DO like the toasted part of the cheesesteak. The crunchiness of the bread makes it oh so much better. However, the cut of Jim’s meat still reigns supreme. It’s totally on another level of quality. Good cheesesteak in a pinch but def not better than Jim’s.
