I took my friend here after he had a procedure done at the hospital. The service was slow and the girl spoke little english and possibly ebonics of some sort idk. Either way they had nothing that we wanted including bread. The pickles and people looked grotesque like they had been sitting there for weeks. I do not recommend eating here spend your $$ elsewhere.

I went here for lunch last week and I will definitely NOT be back. I always wondered why nobody in my building goes to Subway for lunch… and now I know. I came around 1pm on a weekday. There were a decent number of people in the Subway but it wasn’t too crowded. I stood in line, and a woman took my order. I told her I wanted a foot long sandwich, specified the bread, and then told her that I just wanted to have American cheese– nothing else. I also told her I wanted it heated up, just like a grilled cheese. She proceeded to put 4 triangle slices of cheese on my bread(the equivalent of two pieces of cheese) and then put it in the oven. When it came out, she asked me what else I wanted on it. I told her nothing else, I just wanted it like a grilled cheese, just cheese and bread. She did not understand this concept at all and we spent a few minutes trying to clarifying the issue while all the other customers stared at me. She got annoyed, caved in, and went to wrap my sandwich. At that point, I asked her for more cheese since my entire sandwich consisted of only two slices of cheese. She seemed disgruntled, and proceeded to put on 4 more triangle slices– so four slices of cheese total on a foot long sandwich. She then wrapped it up, glared at me, and passed the sandwich down to the cashier. The cashier charged me for a veggie sandwich with EXTRACHEESE(yes, an additional charge for the extra cheese). The sandwich maker told her it was incorrect, and the cashier just stared at me, shrugged her shoulders, and said«whatever». I was too embarrassed to argue, so instead I paid an insane amount of money for a foot long piece of bread with four pieces of cheese on it. It cost about 3−4x what a grilled cheese costs next door at Green Village. I also didn’t pick up a drink because the fridge was next to the door and not near the sandwich line or the cashier, so I couldn’t see what the options were. I went back to my building, bought a soda and chips in the convenience store downstairs, then ate my weird-tasting million dollar cheese sandwich while hating life(yes, it didn’t even taste good). In summary: Go to Green Village, which is right next door.

Subway — eat fresh! It’s nice to have this output right by our apartment. They offer 2 footlongs for $ 8.99 after 5PM which is a great deal. The lady who works there at night is very nice and typical of Subway, there are a lot of fresh veggie options to put on your sandwich. Now if only they would sell the bread alone for my own sandwiches … alas.
