Amazing place. Had to wait to get in. But that seems to be the norm for Saturday morning. But it was worth the wait. Food was superb. I had the tofu scramble and would definitely recommend it. Ambience was superb. Bustling and filled with energy. Service was very friendly and accommodating.

This place is such a gem in the uni city. It was crowded since it’s a Saturday lunch, but we got lucky that a table was ready after a short wait. We ordered Sabrina Ultimate Caesar Salad with grilled chicken and French toast topped with strawberries, they tasted superb. The salad and dressing are well mixed. The french toast was just right, not too spongy or overcooked. And plus the staff were really friendly too!

Been to two different locations in the last few months and enjoyed my breakfast both times. Good service both times

Sabrinas has started using the NoWait app, and it is the best solution to the Saturday morning wait problem. I can«get in line» using my phone from my house. Once the line is down to a few parties, I head in. The service has also improved considerably. The last two or three times I have gone to Sabrinas, my coffee was never empty for long. I am so excited to be able to go to Sabrinas again!

Forget about going for weekend brunch unless you want to wait all morning! With that out of the way, the greatest thing is that the staff us amazing! Every single server I have ever had was super nice and helpful; they always know what to recommend and they are usually right. The sweet potato fries are hit or miss, but I would risk it because when they are good, they are GOOD.

Never can go wrong eating here. Always hard to decide on what to get. Service always awesome. Coffee is great tasting. Love to share meals so that is what friend and I do. Breakfast item and lunch item picked. Love the banana stuffed French toast and love the Caesar salad. Got steak salad last time there. Just too yummy! Well worth the trip. And even the wait !

Have only been here 2 – 3 times over the years so I don’t have much experience over the variety of the menu, but it is one of the better brunch spots around the area. I tried one of their DIY omelettes and buttermilk pancakes, and both were quite good. Portion size is quite larger than I typically expect so that is always a pleasant surprise! The staff are courteous and usually quick to assist you — however I went around 11am on a weekday so it may be a little bit slower on the weekends. Overall, a good brunch restaurant on the outskirts of center city — would definitely recommend

This charming place took me by surprise. Found this place in a quest for all day breakfast. While your normal favorites are absent, you will make quickly find new favorites and dare I say, obsessions. Parking nearby is fine-ish, if Drexel isn’t having an event. The restaurant has ample seating, but with the tight nature of the tables and the made-to-order food the lines could get long –and you should wait. When you are seated in what appears to be someone’s home you can smell the scents of sizzling meat. Our waitress was a sweetheart. She offered us samples of the blackbean grits. The southwest inspired dish was good, but the steak and eggs, stuffed french toast and meat sides can’t be beat. Our waitress was attentive, the food portions ample, the refills prompt and the charm engaging. Overall if you are in the area or you can be – make moves and get the breakfast.

I docked a star because I think the potatoes were bland. And for me potatoes are the best part of brunch! Other than that my Heuvos Rancheros was very good. The cilantro crema that came on top– I could bathe in it, literally.

So this place was recommended to me by multiple people, we just had to try it. I don’t regret the choice I made here. I ordered both the steak & eggs without the chimichurri and french toast. Fair warning, the french toast is big enough for 2 people. Both plates were very good. Portion size was big especially for the price you pay. The only downside was 1. My steak was a little burnt and 2. I couldn’t finish it all. Ambiance of the place is cute. Definitely a sunday brunch type of place. I recommend all those traveling to the area try atleast once. It does not disappoint.

They’re food is freaking delicious, sandwiched and breakfast! The setting is lovely, every time I come I get seated by the Windows i adore eating by huge Windows, especially on a sunny day. The only reason I didn’t give them 5 stars is because they’re initial seating service is really slow. My fiancé and I were waiting at the front to get seated for a little less than 10 minutes. No «sorry for the wait» or anything. But the Stuffed Challah French Toast was freaking great and so was our waitress so that made up for it.

Had heard rave reviews about Sabrina’s since years, so tried it for Saturday brunch. But honestly I felt it is overrated. The food was mediocre, in fact the menu isn’t very impressive for someone who is not a big fan of eggs or sausages or turkey. The coffee too was below average. The popularity of this restaurant is somewhere related to the lack of sufficient brunch places in University City. If you don’t have many options, you are kind of forced to frequent average places!

Gem of a breakfast place in university city area. It can be hard to get a spot on the weekends but you can use their No Wait app to cut your waiting time in half. You can’t go wrong with anything off of their rotating specials menu. I personally love the stuffed French toast but have never had a bad experience with their other dishes — try the steak and eggs!

Every time I come to Sabrina’s, it was always a good experience! Despite the long line and the 30 min wait, it was well worth it. The unique, homey interior itself sets you to be in a comfortable mood to eat. This time I ordered off their«90’s Hip-Hop Menu» and spent a good 5 minutes being entertained by the dishes’ name. I had their MC Lyte’s «Cha-Cha-Cha» Mexi Special($ 11.95), holy crap, it was beyond good. It was a blend of scrambled pepper jack eggs, ground beef, roasted chipotle honey onion, mushrooms, and bunch of other good stuff. I actually ordered this because while I was waiting for my table, I saw a dude sitting by the entrance really enjoying his food, so I asked what he was having. You wouldn’t believe his facial expression when he took a bite out of it. Best of all, the service at Sabrina’s never disappoint!

Sabrina’s Café is my favorite brunch spot in Philadelphia! I have been here dozens of times and not once have I ever been disappointed by the service or food. Their biggest draw is the stuffed Challah French toast, but I tend to go for their breakfast sandwiches. Besides breakfast and brunch, they have great salads. Everything is worth it, not only because it’s delicious, but because they give you huge portions!

Sabrina’s is definitely worth the detour. I would make the detour anytime. It is a bustling eatery(filled with locals, college students, and visitors alike) on the lower-level of a beautiful house. It almost feels like home with creative, innovative, and eccentric food that is comforting. We both ordered off of the special 90’s hip hop menu. I got eggs florentine a.k.a. Salt-N-Peppa’s «Let’s Talk About Eggs Baby.» I added lox, which was an eggsellent choice. The hollandaise was thick, but not heavy or rich, and it went well with the earthy spinach, the salty lox, and the creamy yolks. Boyfriend ordered the special stuffed French toast, which was out of control. It was sweet and oddly savory at the same time– tangy with cream cheese studded with brownie bits and Bailey’s, blending the chocolate with creaminess. Then the fresh strawberries and blueberries brought a bright tart moment that melded with the berry cinnamon honey syrup. There were so so so many things right with this Master P’s «Make ‘Em Say MMMM…» Special French toast. Love Sabrina’s– from the food to the vibe, it’s classic with an edge.

I’d come here so many times while living in Philly, and never really got the hype. This time though, I realized its appeal – new menu items all the time, all affordable(for NY standards, anyway), and huge portions. The wait time is very annoying, but you can call ahead(and then come 15 min longer than they told you what the wait time would be). We shared the stuffed special French toast for the table, and it was devoured immediately. I recommend splitting it with people to share rather than as your main meal, because Sabrina’s specializes in really delicious special savory dishes!

Strolling up to Sabrina’s is part of the fun. Located in a massive historical home, you’ll find tables and chairs in every nook and cranny of this beautiful home. Our meal kicked off with a peppermint and regular latte. Next time I would opt for the regular, the peppermint version was too sweet for my liking. After the lattes, our eyes were bigger than our stomachs when placing our orders. Fair warning: the servings here are JUMBO! We ordered the polenta fries with marinara sauce, breakfast sandwich with spinach and American cheese and scrambled eggs with sourdough and home fries. The scrambled eggs with added cheddar were delicious. Next time, I would opt for a lighter side dish than the fries — they were more on the greasier than crispier side. Last but not least, service was attentive but not suffocating. We loved our spot by the windows overlooking the street.

This rating is for this location only. Ive only been able to enjoy this one only. This was my New Years celebration hangover place to feed my hookah and alcohol induced starvation. Were we smart and rolled out of bed to get there early-ish and to go the one near the colleges. Because we knew those«silly kids» would still be in bed. hahahahahaah and that they were. When we got there it was no wait, really. Just until my hubby found parking. So there is hint… if you have a party of 5, you aren’t getting seated until everyone is there. I love the feel of this café. So warm and inviting, its like eating at your aunties house for brunch. Service was quick, friendly and efficient. The servers kinda zip in and out without really being noticed until you need them. I ordered the breakfast sandwich, fried egg, turkey sausage, sauteed onions with provolone on a plain bagel it came with a side of home potatoes. But the options with the breakfast sandwich are basically endless. But the highlight of my meal were the potatoes… fried golden, perfectly seasoned with lots of little crispy bits. Hubby got the pancakes with a side of bacon. Upon the pancake arrival they were beautifully prepared. But I will say these are definitely a thicker pancake. Yes, fluffy but super thick. And one downer is they came out with cold butter. …this is personal pet peeve of mine. 3 of these pancakes should be more than enough. They absorbed every bit of butter and syrup put on them. Which made them weigh about 500 lbs on my hubby’s tummy. He could barely finish ½. the stack. The bacon… again is a personal preference… a little to over cooked. We both are and were full for $ 20.00 I’ll be back.

Sabrina’s is a Philly brunch classic. This location is in a huge historic looking castle like building. There are a few other things going on in the same building like a burger joint. The food was good! My stuffed challah French toast was amazing(though the portions are huge!). The one downside was the service. Our waitress was amazing but the hostess was stressed out and told us we had a 15 minute wait when in reality it was close to an hour(There was a nice waiting area upstairs with couches).
