If you are looking for a fine dining experience without breaking the bank, the bistro is the perfect place for you.
The academic bistro is a hidden gem on Drexel. The meal is prepared by the students in Food production class and served by the customer service students. $ 10 for a three-​course meal, what else can you ask for more?!? And the ambience is perfect for a date too.

Really, really cool place in Philadelphia that very few people are aware of. Drexel’s Academic Bistro serves prix fixe lunches and dinners in a beautiful dining room with a wonderful view of the city! All meals are cooked by culinary students and are really quite wonderful. Not only is it a great meal for a great price, it’s a special experience. At the end of the meal, you get to feel out a little card that rates the students on their service, preparation and presentation of food. It’s like Philly’s own version of Top Chef and you get to be the critic. Except you’re nicer than Toby Young — hopefully!
