Sabel’s is about as friendly as a place can get. The girls range from knock-​out model types to thicker, sexy mammas. Beers are affordable, (mixed drinks or shots suck in plastic), The ladies don’t hustle, but they do come around if you beckon and they make the many women who come there feel extra welcome. We once went when it happened to be Chili’s birthday and enjoyed all the homemade food that had been brought in to celebrate it. Totally nude dancing is permitted, but most don’t go there. Negatives would be the $ 20 per dancer fee the house charges for private dancers on top of the dance fee, so you can’t afford many different dancers once you’ve paid with one; and the DJ screams into his microphone in a very small room, making the girls’ names incomprehensible. And his music choices are pretty un-​dance-​able. They should get a sexy voiced woman in there playing R&B, Soul and other sexy songs. Chili, Shorty, Ace and others recognize and remember you when you return.

This club is TINY! It’s located in a small strip mall by a Chinese Take-​out. It’s about the width of a row home but not nearly as deep. To enter you wind down a short corridor from the front door. From there the bar is directly in front of you, the stage is to the left, and a small couch dance room is to the left of the stage (you just wound your way around it). One high table runs down the center of the room and kind of awkwardly divides it. A couple stools are placed along the wall across from the stage. The stage itself is slightly elevated, very shallow, and has two poles (both of which were always occupied). Unfortunately, due to the regular height ceiling, shallow stage, and proximity of the two poles, there isn’t much «dancing». It’s strictly booty shaking. The tipping style is to go up to the stage while the ladies are dancing and tuck a couple bills into their g-​strings or (I’m sure the girls would prefer) «making it rain.» Not really my preferred style but each club has it’s own ways.
The girls were exclusively black the evening of my visit, as were the patrons. The only pale face in the house was the overweight female bartender in a baggy, dirty Eagles t-​shirt. There were 7 – 8 dancers on shift (wow! On a Sunday night?) so it was almost a 1:1 ration of dancers to patrons. They ranged from thin to pleasantly thick with a trend toward the thick (probably an advantage given the type of performance you can pull off on that stage. Expect lots of butt clapping). If you want butts, hips, thighs, and breasts this might be your place. Not many skinny minnies. Most had average to cute faces but none really stood out. They’ll come through the crowd and perform table dances, or standing dances if a stool isn’t available). Typical of the «urban» club scene (seriously? Urban? We know what you’re really saying.) Not a bad spot but it’s a bit too small for me. I’m not in a real hurry to get back there.

Pretty women, but their lack of tact when demanding cash is off-​putting. Unless u r bored and wanna donate money to keep their sharp tongues at bay move on.

This gentlemans club/​titty bar in West Philly is all about your cash. It is a racially diverse atmosphere located in a strip center off of Ford Road close to City Line Ave. We were patted down by the bouncer upon entering and then sat down at the bar for $ 2.50 bottles. The dancers seemed to like the fact that we were not regulars and paid special attention to my friend and I. I didn’t get a lap dance but definitely had plenty of offers from the dancers to take me in the back. There is no such thing as a cheap strip club but something tells me you can really get some bang for your buck if you want to.
