Robertson’s Flowers & Events

Robertson’s customer service reached out to me and said they would be happy to send me a replacement delivery. I was so bummed about the first attempt that I took them up on their offer. The new flowers are perfect. Beautiful in every way. I commend them for making it right.

Tl; dr version: Customer service is unparalleled and my flowers are gorgeous!
I just can’t say enough nice things about this business.
First of all, my family member sent me flowers to the wrong address. Robertson’s didn’t get an answer at that address and left me a voicemail that it was too cold and they would try again the next day (I hadn’t realized they had gone to wrong address at this point). Next, they called again to arrange a more convenient day. They made a fresh arrangement and attempted to deliver. We realized they went to wrong address and they came to my new address. This was on a day with really crappy weather. They were so kind and courteous throughout. Then, someone just called me to make sure I received my flowers and told me to feel better soon.
I just can’t believe the attention to detail, customer service and friendliness. I will use them for sure when I need to send flowers.

Have been going to Robertson’s for years. Once you visit you won’t want to leave the shop. It’s heavenly! A little known secret? Attendants allow entering the floral area in the back to choose the flowers and arrangements (or natural arrangements) for your gift. Sending by phone, I am always complemented by how incredibly fresh and beautiful they are. In addition, the gifts are charming and unique. Would not think to go anywhere else!

Robertson’s Rocks.
I found them because they were close to Osaka (GREAT) in Chestnut Hill. I wanted a beautiful avant-​garde arrangement of red roses for my partner’s birthday. Robertson’s had just the arrangement: On-​Trend.
The woman who helped me on the phone call was in synch with me. While she was describing options, I was following along on their really well-​presented web site.
The cherry on top was Robertson’s ability to make the arrangement happen and walk it over to Osaka within 90 minutes on a Friday afternoon. I know this was an incredibly tight window, but they succeeded in spades.
When we walked into the restaurant later that evening, the setting was perfect and the flower arrangement was the key.
The cost of the arrangement was WELL worth the finished design. It was a living piece of art for the woman I love.
I hope this helps other. I can’t wait to visit Robertson’s shop soon.

Review for store only (although the arrangements in the store seemed lovely)
Beautiful building with wisteria trained up the side. Abuts the ornate greenhouse of Cake (can get access from inside Robertson’s). I was hoping the greenhouse was for plant material but it’s a café. Lots of interesting, browsy types of items. Good gift ideas. Nice selection of cut flowers, some exotic, in the back.

I wanted to send a bouquet to my friend who works across the street from Robertson’s. I called and they were so helpful and nice. I didn’t really have anything specific in mind, just requested spring-​time colors. They out-​did themselves on the service– they were happy to hand-​deliver the bouquet. It ended up at my friends place of employment within 20 minutes and she was so delighted! She ended up with a beautiful bouquet of pinks, purples, peaches and greens. It was a BEAUTIFUL bouquet that made my friend’s day. Couldn’t have done it without such wonderful service. Thank you Robertson’s!

Twice my husband has brought me flowers from Robertson’s and twice they have been nothing better than what you can buy at a supermarket! As a matter of fact, the first time he brought home a bouquet, I thought they were maybe from the half price bin of the supermarket as many of the flowers did not look fresh. I should have said something then since he bought another bouquet. These had a dying stem on them plus NO sign of any aesthetic – they simply were not pretty. They looked worse than the bunches of flowers which we pick ourselves from our CSA. Luckily, we have a place near our house that does beautiful flowers at reasonable prices. If you are in the vicinity of Princeton, check out Viburnum on Nassau Street. Unfortunately, I had to tell my husband to please not buy flowers from there again!

i really like this store… it is the kind of place where you wander with leisure because there are just so many adorable things to see — for the home, for yourself, for just about anyone who you may be shopping for

I fell in love with Robertson’s when I was looking for ideas for our wedding. My husband and I were doing a simple Independence Hall wedding here in Philly and wanted something unique, like we had seen dozens of times on Robertson’s blog and on sites such as
. I had spoken with Susan who was extremely courteous and friendly. She took down all of my information including likes and expectations for my bridal bouquet and my husbands boutonnière – I had made it painstakingly clear that we wanted unique, non floral elements. However, the day of our wedding, our items arrived, and yes, my husband’s boutonnière was cute (a purple calla lily with organic accents), but my bouquet was mostly white roses, with hints of freesia and eucalyptus. Roses are the furthest thing from unique that I could have imagined. This to me was far from unique and not what I had requested. This could have ruined everything for me, but I refused to allow it to.
After a month had gone by and I had not been contacted by Robertson’s (survey? follow-​up email?), I decided to write to Susan. I thanked her for her exceptional service, but expressed my disappointment with the arrangement of my bouquet. She responded promptly stating that she would pass along the email to the department that does the actual arranging. However, it has been a few weeks now, and I have not received a response.
The facility seems wonderful for everyday arrangements, and they seem to have done a good job with other weddings. However, they completely missed the mark for us, and we were extremely disappointed.

Robertson does a fantastic job. I can always tell the difference between a local flower shop’s arrangements and Robertson’s. They are more expensive but you really do get what you pay for.

love the chestnut hill shop it is is so amazingly decorated! this is a great inspiration to any shop owner of any business keep up the good work!

I was sending a gift from New York and had to rely on their website and timely delivery which they followed through on as promised. Luckily I already knew that the person receiving the flowers was a fan on this place! Though they are on the higher monetary end, their arrangements come in a variety of sizes and are very elegant.

Fantastic flower shop. Went in looking to bring some flowers up to Boston to surprise my girlfriend. They had a great assortment of reasonably priced flowers that they were happy to assemble and specially wrap to survive the 6 hr drive up to Boston. Great service, great flowers, many smiles from the girlfriend.

I browsed the store today and may have literally drooled on at least 10 pieces I saw there. In the back they do the flowers — and just in case anyone out there is wondering — I love their hydrangea arrangements AND they deliver.
In the main part of the store they have some furniture, artwork, mirrors, amazing light fixtures (I fell in love with a chandelier but just can’t justify spending over $ 500 for it) and some great gift items.
FLOWERS AND GIFTS… just sayin’…
