Ordered pizza last night and stayed up late waiting for it after several promises from the restaurant that it was on its way. The pizza was never delivered and my credit card still got charged!

Solid pizza joint! Glad I tried it. Not only was it open during snowpocolypse, it was only a 15 minute wait for pickup. We ordered a lot of toppings, and they were very artfully and evenly distributed(for real: it was art). The people in the shop were super nice and very appreciative of our business. I’ll definitely be back!

WORST pizza delivery experience!!! Placed order at 7:21PM and after 2UNPLEASANT, DISHONEST, NONAPOLOGETIC calls later we received order at 10:00PM. The first conversation with an IMPATIENT, UNHELPFUL woman at 9:00PM, told us the delivery was going out at that moment. Having not received the order yet, we called back at 9:40PM and after asking our address and where exactly the location was, we were told AGAIN that our order was just going out. When they finally got to us, they asked us to meet them OUTSIDE for a «curbside» delivery! They eventually ended up delivering to our door, like a proper delivery. After all of this, the ORDERWASWRONG. Not to mention, soggy and cold. We will NEVER be ordering from this place again!!!

Wow. 1st time trying them and we had it delivered. We did the Primavera Pizza with white not red. Delish! Amazing. Crust is perfect. Copious amounts of ricotta on top and all the ingredients were fresh. Only thing that might have been negative is that the delivery took a little over an hour, but tonight was the 1st snow of the season and it was delivered by BIKE! I think I’m going to cut the guy some slack on this one. Besides, he had the forethought to double pack the pizza so it was actually still warm when it arrived. HIGHLYRECOMMEND this place!

Super fast delivery. We got a plain cheese pizza and the garlic wings and everything was great! The wings were fantastic because they were not deep fried. They tasted fresh and had a lot of meat on them. The pizza was really good, too. Would definitely recommend!

Very good pizza! We ordered delivery to our hotel last night and it arrived at around 1AM. I cannot tell you how delicious pizza is even more delicious at that time of day. The slices are large, wide, and thin. Great NY style pizza!

I ordered delivery late last night(probably around 1:00AM) from PIzzeria Cappelli. I was experimenting for good late night food because not much is open for delivery in Philadelphia after midnight. After reading other reviews(5 stars), I had high expectations. Delivery from this joint is NOT the same as eating in. It took an hour to get my order. The food arrived cold. I received the wrong pizza. The delivery guy came back knocking on my door at 3:00AM to deliver the right pizza. While I appreciate the gesture of giving me the right pizza, come on, it is 3:00AM and you are knocking on my door in a city. Suffice to say I answered the door ready for combat. Nonetheless, the food was still good. BEWAREOFDELIVERY.

More like 2.5 stars. First time ordering delivery from here since the reopen. 10:30 on a Sunday night. Food arrived around 11:40 by a delivery man on his cellphone, loudly talking to his girlfriend, sitting on my front steps pulling out boxes and placing them on the steps. Didn’t really acknowledge me, couldn’t tell if he was speaking to me or his girlfriend. The food was good. Cheesy bread, slightly overdone, and not even lukewarm after the hour long delivery. Mac and cheese pizza was great after heating it up in the oven. However there was mac and cheese all over the top of the box, which was unpleasant to see. I’ll probably still stop here after a long night out for late night pizza, but don’t think I’ll be ordering delivery from here again. Many better places in the city.

Wow. I used to like homo hut but I LOVE it as Pizzeria Cappelli. The Cappelli bros really know what they’re doing and the pizza is simply delicious. I could eat here every day. And I consider myself a bit of a pizza snob. So you can trust me. Pizzeria Cappelli will not disappoint.

I love their pizza here– and the friendly singing and dancing staff makes it even better! Thank you for keeping the product the same after the recent ownership/name change; it’s a really hard to beat pizza in the neighborhood. I’ve tried many pizzas in Philadelphia and this one has not only fantastic cheese, sauce, and bread — it also has some really gourmet slices that are sure to excite. They deliver, and stay open super late.

Not just great late night pizza but great anytime pizza. Super friendly staff also. You can actually order food from the cigar shop next door and they will bring it over while enjoying a drink or smoke. Highly recommended!

Pizzeria Cappelli is phenomenal, fresh ingredients and creative pies, my personal favorite is the meat lovers which comes with a cheddar cheese that makes it extra tasty. I have been to the pizza shop and the service is always quick and friendly. Delivery was also great, my order arrived within a half hour. I highly recommend Pizzeria Cappelli, great quality at a competitive price.

Great new pizza spot. Finally can get some decent food after the bars close. Went there around 3am and still was able to get a fresh hot pizza.
