This place is my JAM. I always try to make a stop when I’m in philly. The coffee is delicious and fresh and the staff is always really knowledgeable and friendly. The actual layout is aesthetically pleasing as well, huge windows. Great spot.

I have been here twice now and each time, the cappuccino is perfect. Even when it’s very busy(which it is on race days and weekends), the coffee comes out quickly and the service is very good.

Had time to kill while waiting on the amtrak so I took a stroll to Peddler Coffee. It was a sin day late am so they were pretty much out of food but has tasty biscotti to nosh on. I am a latte fiend and the latte here was just so so. after reading the reviews I though I was in for a treat and while better than many not a top end latte. I should come back to check out the pour over coffee. If you are in the neighborhood it is definitely worth a try just not the best I’ve had.

This place is amazing. The building is beautiful– from the exposed brick to the wooden tables and hardwood floors. The latte! Best latte I have ever had in my life. Perfect temperature, too. Service was excellent! The waitress was very knowledgeable and friendly. I wish I lived in the city so I could come here more often. Got some coffee to brew at home. Love Peddler!

Very good Costarican Chemex in a corner coffee shoppe. If you could draw a picture of that small neigborhoid coffee place around the corber, this is it.

Been here a couple of times now. It’s a decent-to-good cup of coffee, but not the best environment for sticking around to enjoy it. The chairs seem purposefully uncomfortable and the tables aren’t very functional for getting work done or even just sitting down with a drink. The Kenyan pour-over that was ready to go was surprisingly good, but the lavender lemonade was overpriced(and underwhelming) and another pour-over I tried was just okay. I might stop by again if in the area, but it’s not the kind of place I’d seek out compared to some of the other options further South.

Adorable little coffee shop! The baristas are extremely friendly and knowledgable. I ended up asking a bunch of questions about the drinks, and they were so patient to explain everything in detail. Delicious coffee and great ambience!

Quaint coffee shop across the main road from the Philadelphia Art Museum. They sell a variety of quality coffee and pastries including a delicious hot chocolate with vegan marshmallows. There’s plenty of seating between the bar seating along the wall and individual tables.

I found a new jewel in Philly! Coffee Paddler has it all right, the modern rustic look with their natural wood tables and industrial base to their fine counter equipped of course with a La Marzocco makes the place feel relaxed and productive with elegance. The brick wall inside makes you feel cozy and relaxed… It does to me for some estrange reason… The Baristas are very friendly and easy to explain the coffee they are using and method of brewing. Knowledgeable and friendly! Makes a prefect combo with the exquisite espresso and a great setting. Not to mention that their location is prime, across from the IMAX in 21st& Spring and right next to the city center but not to close that is noisy, you kinda feel like you are far but is just a couple of blocks from downtown. I had had many many good espressos in my life, but this one is one of the few that I will remember and will go to my list of amazing coffee places. With complex flavors and delicious after taste but extremely clear to identify. I bought Kenya 12oz bag of beans to see how they work with the Chemex and V60.(I’m sure it will taste heavenly)

Awesome, chill, simple little place near the Franklin Institute. Glad I chose to come here instead of going to Starbucks! I was in love with the interior of the place; dimmed lighting, wood everything, and the smell of heaven. There isn’t an overly extensive menu in there, but what they do have is amazing hand pressed coffee and fantastic espresso. It’s bold and everything I could ask for as far as taste goes. My only issue with this place is that my coffee was only lukewarm. However, it was still delicious and I enjoyed it. The girl working the counter was friendly and quick with our orders. The pricing wasn’t bad either!

Stopped here on my way out of Philly. I am a huge coffee person and their house brew was fantastic– really flavorful and smooth. They roast their own beans locally too which is cool. It has a nice, boutique coffeehouse feel, friendly baristas and a very small, but tasty selection of pastries. I definitely recommend this place for an coffee fans passing through Philly!

Picked up coffee and pastries to go on a few occasions. Peddler roasts and brews their coffee in small batches and my, it’s quite good! We’ve had the Kyoto(iced coffee) and hot coffee, as well as donuts and croissants — I’ve always been pleased. The décor inside is cool and collected — dark live edge wood, shiny gunmetal accents, and geometric shapes. For some whimsy, their straws are gray and white striped paper straws. Never would have expected it. There are a few tables inside and adequate outdoor seating on the sidewalk as well. Baristas are nice and open to answer any questions. Glad that you guys are in the neighborhood!

Checked this place out for the first time this morning and loved it! It’s a great environment and the staff is really friendly. I had iced coffee and a cinnamon raisin english muffin, and both were great. I’ll definitely be back!

I LOVE this coffee shop. I, personally, am not a fan of coffee so I go here for the ambience and the lavender lemonade. This spot is great — much better than Darling’s, which use the rent the space. First and foremost, I love the vibe. This is my favorite study spot(doesn’t hurt that it’s just down the block). I’ve used it to tutor, work, and study and I’ve found it to be much cozier and quieter than any Starbucks I’ve gone to in the area. It’s got a hipster feel but it’s not intimidatingly so hipster that I feel uncomfortable being there. If you’re staying to enjoy your drink it’s served in a mason jar and there are paper striped straws for sipping. The exposed brick looks great in the space and I like the simplicity of the tables and stools for seating. The stools do get a little tiring on your back if you’re there for a long time. Like I said before, I don’t really crave coffee, but I have had their decaf americano and it’s really superior to any other coffee that I’ve tried before. The lavender lemonade is perfect for the summer time and they have a really great tea selection that I usually go for when I stop in. The carrot bread is really good too! Definitely worth stopping in.

It’s rare that I feel so strongly about a place that I feel compelled to write a review while I am still here. However, that is the case right now. After going past Peddler many times and always wanting to stop in, my boyfriend and I made it this morning. We biked over, and probably my single complaint is that there are no bike racks. But, the outside is beautiful and welcoming with some tables and chairs on the sidewalk. The inside is not too small, has exposed brick, big windows with really cool geometric designs on them, and beautiful wood tables with great details. On top of that, you can bring your dog inside if you’re ordering coffee to go!(I’m SOLD). The baristas are both super friendly and my iced latte came in a jar with a cute striped straw. They have any coffee variety you want, so no matter your level of coffee expertise, you can feel right at home. They don’t seem to mind if you camp out on your laptop, and have a couple select snacks too. The hazelnut muffin thing that we split was honestly even way better than I thought it would be. From the hardworking women behind the bar to the unique stamps on their to-go cups, I’m in love with Peddler and I’ll be back for sure!

My new favorite study spot! First off, the interior is really cool, complete with a brick wall, rugged but lacquered wooden tables, and gunmetal colored stools. It’s fairly new to the scene so never crowded, and the coffee is stellar. My go-to order is the almond milk iced latte, which comes in a cute little mason jar with a striped paper straw — talk about hipster. Also, all the coffee is made in those hourglass looking chemex cofeemakers on site, so you know it’s fresh. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable also. Can’t say enough good things about this place, I just hope it doesn’t blow up too fast because I’d hate to lose my study spot :)

Great coffee, baristas, descriptions of roasts, and build out. Prices are reasonable and I recommend trying their espresso«on the rocks.» I’ve been traveling the east coast for two weeks and at every spot, we’ve tried coffee. This was hands down the best service, space, and quality pour over I had. We planned to buy some beans to come back home with and the baristas were so friendly and knowledgeable. We’ve tried a few places after and ended up coming back to Peddler before leaving Philadelphia. Would recommend to anyone visiting this city.
