I give it a 5 because the pastel de tres leches(cake of three milks) is so delicious! !! And also because they have all of my childhood favorite snacks and drinks

Food: **** Ambience: * Price: *** At first glancethe place doesn’t quite seem a worthy place to eat, but if you decide to buy groceries or grab a seat to eat, you’re in for a nice and simple treat. You’ve got some good authentic Mexican food in some place other than Washington Ave. The menu is not extensive but I had the huevos con chorizo which was simple but tasty. The food won’t blow you out of the water, but your tastebuds won’t be disappointed if you just need an authetic satisfying meal. Just a dollar or two too much, but not outrageous or what you get.

Yeah — a completely legit Latin market and tacqueria. No printed menu and no English spoken, so don’t expect some yuppie fusion-Latino place. It’s a marcado with basic groceries, some fresh produce, a decent bakery(cakes, pastries, cookies), and of course, tacos. Carnitas was nicely flavored + tender meat w/crispy edges. Pollo was tender and flavorful. Tacos were traditional Mexican style — small corn double torillas, meat, lime, and salsa(red or green). Total for 3 tacos + a Snapple was about $ 9, so a bit steep, but seems to be going rate around Philly these days.
