I been a week in Philly, been so many hookah lounge … This place is the best of all… The owner is my Egypt great guy… I had orange had with Orient Mix… Was super great … My Friend took Pine apple head with Orient Mix he loved it as well … You should check this place out … No way you be disappointed… Hope you enjoy your time as well … Cheers

Great service. Hookah was average. Not the cleanest place but it was comfortable. Was not aware of a $ 3 per person byob charge. Our bill totaled $ 35 for 3 people for 1 hookah and 3 bottled waters.

Walked in here during a busy time but the guy who greeted us was extremely and unnecessarily rude for no reason. Will never step foot into this establishment where there is zero customer service and professionalism.

Very rude owner. Always has his Bluetooth piece on. We just causally walked in to find seating. He immediately literally kicked us out. We asked about a sign in sheet or time sheet. He said no please go outside. Not worth the disrespect. Plenty of hookah bars around. Please don’t come here.

I go to Orient Hookah Lounge and I found incredibly great hookah and service. They have done a lot of improvements. They updated their main area and the bathroom. They give students discounts and I highly recommend it to any hookahholics and newbies. They will happily have something for both.

Loved the place. The waiter (wearing a hat) was extremely nice to us. He always changed coal without us asking him to or without charging. He was so kind and polite and really knew how to give the best service. I really really liked their service and all thanks to that waiter !!! He rocked his job!!! There should be more waiters like that young man:)

These guys are awesome. Great service. We had double apple out of an apple and they came around with different flavors for us to try. The mint tea was awesome as well. Good music and vibe. We will probably come back soon! Thanks guys!

This place is fantastic. The service is friendly and warm and you feel so comfortable just walking through the door. And as someone with an anxiety disorder, that’s absolutely phenomenal.
The prices are cheap and affordable, the flavors are wonderful, and it’s now my go-​to chill spot.

I wonder if this place has changed hands since all of the good hype on here because the shisha was really so-​so, it was stuffy and a bit dirty in there, and a Lipton bottled iced tea was $ 2 (I was expecting like… iced tea… with ice.)
I left early because I was getting nauseous in there. The price is REALLY good here so maybe I will come back when it is not extremely crowded. The very large 10 person party next to us was extremely loud and talking about really embarrassing stuff at top volume. They were playing golf on the TVs on a Friday night.

I’ve been to several hookah places and this one is by far my favorite.
My boyfriend and I happened upon it after grabbing dinner in the piazza with a friend. We wanted to do hookah afterwards and after I looked up a place that was close by, I was surprised to see a hookah place with such high ratings. So we thought why not.
The atmosphere and décor is a little off-​putting but the service and the fact it was BYOB, definitely made up for it. I didn’t know it was BYOB at first so once I found out, I made my boyfriend run to the wine and spirits to grab us a bottle.
The people who worked there were very attentive, they constantly checked on our coal and replaced it when needed. A lot of hookah places don’t do that. You usually have to ask and even then they’ll charge you to replace.
My boyfriend is also a huge flyers fan and there was a game on that night so we asked if they could show the game and they happily changed the channel for us.
I’ll definitely be back.

Orient Hookah Lounge is a really cool, authentic Middle Eastern hookah lounge located in Philly.
Here’s the deal:

— Ice hose accessory only available during the spring/​summer

— BYOB (supermarket located within walking distance)
— Coals are changed frequently
— Variety of flavors
— Check in with Unilocal & there’s an automatic discount in store for you
— Good music
— Did I mention BYOB? Buy a bottle of wine and they will literally open it for you and bring you cups.
— Bathrooms suck (sorry, but they do!)
Would I go back here if I find myself in Philly? I don’t see why not.

This is one of the nicest hookah place in the city, outdoor seating is beautiful with the lights.
They play good music, always good service, the guys are always on point with switching the coals and prices are reasonable!

I had a great experience here. Usually, hookah lounges in Philly are accompanied by extremely rude owners and services. However, here, the service was incredible, and everyone was really chill. We weren’t required to order a drink either, which was nice, and it was also BYOB, which I think is really cool.
My friend and I ordered a hookah which was very enjoyable and good quality, and we didn’t have to repeatedly ask to have coals changed or anything. We also took advantage of the $ 5 off Unilocal check-​in offer, which was nice — only $ 10 for a hookah is great!

I’ve experienced a few hookah lounges in Philly and didn’t understand the hype. After my visit here, I’m now a hookah lover. The staff is accommodating and extremely outgoing. We had many servers but Terryll was the greatest. I didn’t enjoy the indoor seating, so we played musical chairs until seats were available outside. Awesome place to come with a group or solo.
