This place is a product of its environment. With the noticeable changes of gentrification, and(more importantly) new management, this little joint is seeing better days. Gone are the shady loiterers, but the cheap alcohol selections are still abundant. Might have to try the food the next time I’m in town.

Only go here if you have too and everything else is close. Items are often past expiration date.

Good for what it is. Cheap beer. Expensive cigarettes. Scary food. Surprisingly decent craft-beer selection, if you’re into that kind of thing.

Brewerytown has a depressing lackluster selection of brews, except for NonStop. They carry a decent range of tasty sixers. Beware, though: the deli isn’t NonStop. It’s closed when I pass by on my morning runs. I think that helps me not be an alcoholic, though, so I’m cool with that. And you should be too.

Non Stop is on a busy corner in Brewerytown where the trolley and 3 buses all have stops right outside. The signs about not doing drugs inside might be intimidating but what is inside is a pretty decent selection of beers, that you can buy individually or by the 6 pack. Sure the prices aren’t dirt cheap but they are comparable to the nicer bottle shops in the city and this one has the benefit of being walking distance from my home. It’s definitely become a go to for us when we run out or just need a few brews. Their selection varies from the usual domestics to Victory, Dogfish and other local favorites. Since we are regulars the counter guy has offered to get us anything we might like in stock. I haven’t tried anything from here that wasn’t a sealed beverage so I can’t comment on that side of the business. Also it is cash only.

This place truly sucks! Besides the drunks, it’s like a hangout for kinds of low life in the neighborhood. Last time I stop in this place was to get some fries which 15 min by the way, at least three drunks asked for change or can I get them some malt liquor. Fries were pretty good but there are many places in the area where you don’t have to worry about drunks or dealers to get good food. Hey I enjoy my life & don’t want to get caught up in Thug activity just for some cheap Good/Ok food.

People pretty much only do a few things here: buy booze(like me); buy cigarettes; buy lottery tickets; ask for change; and act like jerks. It’s also a popular place to throw your trash on the ground outside before getting on the bus/trolley. The only redeming quality is the fact that I can get a huge beer for $ 1.50.
