The location is choice, the area is safe. the building itself is clean, well maintained, brightly lit, and a pleasant place to be in general. The security staff is very friendly and accommodating as well as professional. The gym is very nice. The engineering staff is friendly, quick to respond, and even faster to repair or replace anything. the other residents all seem to be working professionals or older adults– which is perfect If you want to avoid the annoying/noisy«college crowd.» I have never once heard any noise from above, below, or either side. the sound proofing is very effective. the kitchen is brand new and functions very well. The bathroom and washer/drier are also top notch. The market on the first floor could not he anymore convienent(as well as the dry cleaners, Subway, and American-Chinese restaurant.) The managment staff is very friendly. the A/C and heat function very well, and can be adjusted easily. I also have a balcony with a great view of North philadelphia. Springgarden is a busy street, however NONE of the noise makes it into the apartment(despite having newer sliding — glass doors.) the only«con» is a temporary one, which must be mentioned. As of March 25(the day I am writing this) there is a large construction project occurring where the resident parking area once was. As far as noise, I have not heard any from my apartment(north facing.) the new parking is located about a 5 min walk away on Callowhill street. The garage is very crowded and often the only parking is on the roof or basement. This was difficult to adjust to in the winter months, but should be fine in the warmer weather. There have been two large outages thus far as a result of the construction — no water from 9 am to 3 pm on two seperate occassions. Managment is good about notifying residents prior to these outages, which are unavoidable when attempting construction of this size. the bottom line– if it weren’t for the construction, this facility would really be perfect… you get a lot for what you pay in rent, and I would give Museum Towers«5 stars» if it were not for the construction, which really is not their fault.

After looking at over a dozen apartments, we decided to move into Museum Towers, primarily for it’s great location. After six months of living here, we have no complaints. Although a bit dated, thus the four rather than five stars, the attentive and responsive staff, the square footage of apartment, the safe and easy access to the parking lot… make this a good value for the rental amount. It is quiet and very comfortable.
