I’m not trying to be harsh but I looked up this place only after I’d received my undercooked chicken with broccoli in almost no sauce, expecting to say«see, should’ve looked it up first!» But it was just chicken & broccoli… that was asking & expecting too much. The reviews here are entirely inconsistent with my dreadful experience.

Didn’t have much choice during the blizzard, so we tried this place out. Got take out. There was a lot of confusion when I ordered Beef Chow Fun, which is on their menu. The dish was very bland. Kinda watery. 5 – 6 pieces of tough beef. Edible, but not good. Sesame chicken had flavor and was better than the beef chow fun, but still not great. Chicken was definitely low quality. Sauce had a bit too much corn starch and was more gelatinous than saucey. Overall, I would not return. There are many other cheap Chinese restaurant that are better(and I used to work in my family’s).

Mui Chung is similar to all the take-out Chinese places in Philadelphia. It’s got tasty and cheap food. I got the lunch special for $ 5.75 which was a great deal. I’ll be coming back here again. PS: Their phone number is actually(215) 755‑7611

Being in C.C. this is the only Chinese restaurant I will order from for a quick take out. They are only cash, but crown fried across the street has an atm. Definitely a drunken food to crave haha

Good, tasty, very fast chinese. I work next door so It’s nice to have a cheap spot to grab a meal. Also the portions are pretty large so I usually have leftovers. The one guy who is always there when I go in is very friendly… and I’m glad they sell mountain dew.

if you’re looking for high quality chinese food then you’re barking up the wrong tree, but if you’re looking for affordable chinese food and cigarettes and candy and condoms then you picked the right place! the service is quick and the people that work there couldn’t be nicer. i tend to stick to the vegetarian options and have no complaints. the bean curd has a good texture and the sauces aren’t too greasy.

Love this place. As a former resident of the same building(third floor), whenever the craving came, this place provided the quick fix. Need wings for the super bowl? Boom, Mui Chung got you covered. Game 5 of the World Series muchies? They got’cha. Don’t feel like going down to pick up your food? They deliver to your door(in my case, they literally took the stairs… I felt like a douche every time). Weird thing(but good), the chicken wings here are definitely better than any of the chicken that they can conjure up at the friend chicken joint across the street. Just be sure to check for feathers on the chicken before you dig in.

Really good general tsos, but everything else is kind of «a-o-k.». Sad because it’s so close to my house, and I don’t think it ever closes! ??? Anyway, it is what it is… A late night place to get some grub after going out on the town. But… They do have funnel cake! No, really! And it’s only $ 1!!! Enjoy.

Friends and I call this place Muy Drunk, because it’s the best solution when you’re trying to sober up. The food is cheap and tasty compared to most other chinese places in the city, and it’s open until about 4 in the morning. Staff is always nice, and there’s actually a place to sit while waiting for your food. Just beware the creepy statues at the church across the street.
