I’m going to go three stars on this review as a little getaway to take small kids if you live near by to play on the play place. Haven’t been around long enough to check out the pool in season as it’s early June and still drained. The basketball court is one full length court and there are also two baseball fields.

Unfortunately, when it comes to park and rec areas, Hillside misses the mark. Their description «sitting on 3.8 acres, this recreation facility has a basketball court, a pool, a sports field and two ballfields» sounds nice, but don’t be fooled.
I’ve use the fields here for multiple seasons of kickball. The fields themselves are adequate, but not greatly maintained. The center is often closed in the evening, even when a permit to play is issued. That means restroom access is limited (or non-​existent). They also have the habit of canceling with even the smallest amounts of rain.
Overall, my experiences at Hillside have left me hoping we won’t play many games there…
