Restaurant is closed and I love Hibachi. I found another location food is better, service is great and price is even better. 1619 Grant Avenue, Sushi Hibachi Grill Supreme Buffet. I absolutely recommend, stop by and eat up.

while in Franklin mills earlier today, i noticed that the sign was no longer on the restaurant, and lo and behold, it was closed, locked up tight!!! This place closing was addition by subtraction as far as Philly restaurants are concerned… although I do hope it opens back up as a quality Chinese buffet…

Egg drop soup was the best I ever had for a buffet. Totally shocked me and went back for seconds. They have hibachi grill. So I became iron chef again… Threw some water chestnut with celery carrot mushroom along with Mai fun noodles. Beef was the protein of choice. Like spicy tell the grill man to cook with garlic and hot oil. Good and filling. Oh yeah before I forget add sliced jalepeno. The dish is great after the sushi. Which I might add is fresh and on ice. So the avocado is not brown or mushy!!! So much better than jersey!!!

Just the standard Chinese buffet, nothing really stands out. While my family and I were eating, Great service, very friendly waitress. The food is more on the saltier side, some of the food I believe have been left out too long because some looks soggy, dry, stale, etc. But it’s an okay place for lunch.

Went on a Thursday @7pm in July 2013 with a group of 19. They made over $ 300.00 and I learned to stay away from this place. Besides my group there were 2 other families there. Slow night I guess. The atmosphere of the place itself is pleasant, a/c was on, good lighting, clean main floor, bathroom didn’t smell, and the staff was friendly(smiling) coming by often offering refills and taking finished plates, and they let us make as much noise(laughing out loud) as we wanted. But the good stops there. Every dish I looked at and tried was oily stale and cold(not even warm). I actually felt sick after my meal, not that I ate much — there wasn’t much to choose from. To be fair maybe it was because business was slow that night, but my goodness, I called the day before and the day of to confirm they would have 19 guests in their buffet and besides the table I didn’t see any effort they put into preparation. Maybe on a busy day increased food turnover will mean better food but as far my experience goes I’m staying away from this place. I’ve been to Grand china in the same shopping area as this one and it hasn’t done me wrong yet(others give them bad reviews though) 2 stars for a good eating environment but I didn’t pay for that only the food was atrocious(yes that bad).

My new favorite Chinese Buffet. Even though I have to pay an extra 2% tax because it is in Philly. Try their excellent Sushi. It is even better than a buffet at Street Road & Bustleton Aves. That’s saying alot.

I took the family there this weekend and we had a good experience. The food was fresh and tasted good! While I’m usually not impressed with buffet restaurants, I have to say this one was very clean. There was a great selection of hot foods, and I was happy that they had a bunch of stuff for the kids too(pizza, chicken nuggets, fries, fresh fruit, etc). It was Saturday night and the whole restaurant was packed with people, lots of families and large groups too. Even with all the people there — The staff was very attentive and one waitress went out of her way to talk to our kids, which I thought was nice. I recommend it if you are looking for something different and new. We thought it was a good value for the money.

I don’t really expect much from an $ 8 buffet place. There may be sushi, but they’re not fresh or tasty. The only good things here are soups, fish, and fruit.

Pretty decent selection of food. You can make your own dish by picking items to be cooked on the hibachi. The safety of keeping raw food out like that even on a bed of ice seems suspect to me, though. The food quality isn’t great but not terrible. Some dishes were excessively salty or oily. The staff are not very good. Their English is subpar and they could at times be rude(like pushing our baby in her stroller out of her way rather roughly). Not a bad place if you like to fill up, but don’t come for the quality or the service.

We used to love coming here all the time when we lived closed by but in recent months… it’s really gone down hill. No more crab legs. Food is not as fresh as it once was. It does have plenty of seating a Hibachi grill and sushi. I tend to not eat sushi at a buffet because I don’t know how long it has been sitting out. Seems like they may have cut down a little on the selection as well.

Ok update on this place! Just stay away from here! Food is horrible and service just the same!!! When they take away your place and see that you need a refill, wouldnt you think they would just ask you if you need another drink or just refill it automatically? Well they walked by 4 times and didnt bother to do any of that, They suck! Place is cheap for dinner but not worth 1 penny! Go to Grand China Buffet next to Dicks Sporting Goods. Better quality of food and I know its fresh there! Happy Eatings! REMEMBERNOTHERE!!!

I ate here for the first time today and it was awful! The food looked like it had been sitting for ages. It clearly wasn’t fresh! We arrived around 3:30 and were sternly told it was dinner time already. We noticed the food wasn’t replenished frequently and was allowed to sit there looking limp and soggy. The sushi wasn’t bad but most of it was drowned in sauce which limits your choices if you can’t have anything spicy. The Hibachi grill contained many choices(beef, chicken and shrimp) but the end result taste like rubber. I would vote this my worst Hibachi experience. The problem with the food is the ingredients are low in quality and freshness. It would also be helpful if they had signs to note the food as you have no idea what they offered. They have plenty of food options from pizza to Hibachi. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend anyone wasting their money at this establishment, you would be better off at a nearby fast food!

There are Many Asian buffets in the immediate vicinity around the Franklin Mills mall. Some are definitely better than the rest. At the top of the list are the Dynasty and the Hibachi Grill Supreme restaurants. We usually prefer the Dynasty by a slim margin, primarily because it has a better sushi and sashimi selection. You CAN have custom things made at either but the normal selection at Dynasty is better, hands down. Both are a very good value and constantly being out fresh selections. Service, such as it is, is comparable at both. Hey it’s a Buffet, so it isn’t reasonable to have high expectations in this area. Service is fast and efficient, if not overly friendly. And that’s just fine by me. These are not full service restaurants and you aren’t tipping 20%

Zanna must be out of her mind or not know what it is to eat at a good Chinese Buffet. I was here for the first time, not knowing what to expect. I wanted to wait a day or so, as you never know how one might react to eating at a new place. It is very clean and neat. The bathroom was also very clean and neat. Service was good, as the waitress was not hovering over my friend and I the whole time, but they were there when we needed our plates taken away or our beverages refilled. I have never seen so many items at a buffet before! Lots of American style food as well. I like to start off with Sushi, but because my friend and I had arrived around 11:20, it was not placed on the ice yet. I had no idea what to start with, but as soon as I saw the fried zucchini, shrimp balls and crab rangoon, my mind was made up. I also tried the pork with mushrooms and something called ironed chicken(I think). I did not know what to expect of the shrimp balls(I am a fan of shrimp toast), but I was pleasantly surprised. The crab rangoon is PERFECT and shaped just how I like it. I do not like the kind that is shaped like a triangle. So when it came time for sushi, I was excited. I mainly go to buffets for the sushi, but I was worried because this was a new place for me. I was pleased with the sushi. Not sure if Zanna realized that they do make battered and fried sushi(she mentioned dried rice), as there was a nice selection there yesterday. There was a maki roll with mayo and sriracha that just blew my tastebuds away. VERY spicy, but enjoyable. Their other rolls were great, too. I wanted to try more of what they offered, but I was just soooo full. I try to grab a nice plateful of veggies, so maybe I will do that next time AND take pics! This place is definitely worth checking out and lunch was just $ 6.99.

This is the best Chinese food restaurant I have every been too. They have a huge selection of everything, nowhere else compares. The hibachi is wonderful. The décor is very nice as well. A large fountain when you fist walk in, beautiful light fixtures, red colored wood tables and chairs. Costs a bit more than other buffets, but it is worth it.

This is the first Chinese buffet I’ve ever went to and I was pleasantly surprised. Is it as good as take out? No. However, for the price it’s a bargain. Their sushi, while not melt in your mouth like at premium restaurants, is a step above the usual prepackaged stuff. I had a tamgo roll, a california roll and also what I think was a philadelphia roll. All were good. Their regular tuna sushi left something to be desired, but their albacore was also decent. The buffet food is the standard Chinese fare. Their pepper chicken was absolutely delicious! Also good was the crab rangoon(which was lighter than the heavy deep fried ones I’m used to but very good), the coconut chicken and the fried wontons. Dessert left a lot to be desired. Their fruits looked fairly appetizing, but their salad bar is nothing special. So, if you want good Chinese food and decent sushi and don’t care about much else, this place is a great bargain especially for lunch. If you seek great cuisine however, look elsewhere.

«Why do you keep getting talked into going to buffets!?» — my bloated stomach screams at me. The truth is I am cheap that’s why. But I have learned my lesson and will just pay a dollar or two more to not feel sick. This buffet is identical to 10 other Chinese buffets in the Bensalem area. I attended at lunch and this may have been the issue, but the sushi was not fresh. It had been sitting out so long that they rice on the edges of the rolls had turned to dried hard bits of nastiness. The rest of the food was standard buffet fare of over fried bits of unrecognizable chicken, over sauced beef that has congealed to a brown goo, sea food that had not been fresh for days. This is all explained by the fact that there was no one in the place and thus the food just sat around all day. Our waitress was very nice and polite though. So there is the one star. My recommendation — if you want good sushi buffet than just save your money and drive out to East Norrington and go to Minado.

Warning, as you begin to read the next paragraph your mouth will fall open and your stomach will start to bloat… For the life of me I can not believe how much I ate, wonton soup, hot and sour soup, pick and peel shrimp, crab and shrimp salad, steamed mussels, casino mussels, crab legs, spinach au gratin, mac & cheese, fried dumplings, a spring roll, fried rice, salmon, white fish, crab Rangoon, general Tso’s chicken, grilled shrimp, baby clams in an oyster sauce(so good), spicy bok choy and at least a dozen different kinds of sushi! I ate more than this but I can’t even remember it all! Did I have dessert? Hellz No! Next time I am wearing my baggiest pajama bottoms! I’m usually not good at buffets, but this time I was like a monkey, the more I saw, the more I wanted to try! Today was their grand opening and I have been calling in anticipation since their previews are for the largest all you can eat Chinese, Japanese and American buffet. There are twelve buffet tables with over one hundred and fifty dishes, which ranges from salads, soups, fruit, cheese, desserts and foods from the different cuisine’s mentioned. In addition to this they have an hibachi area where you can select from and create your own dish for them to prepare. I was amazed at the selection of fresh sushi rolls and for once in my life I could help myself to as much wasabi and kimchee as I liked. The restaurant is huge, beautifully decorated and the servers are on the ball, we had a very friendly Cindy and Yan., who did not miss a beat in clearing plates, refilling our drinks and answering questions. Jack is the manager and he was around to every table several times introducing himself and checking on how we all liked it. They are open seven days per week from 11:00am to 11:00pm and they switch from lunch to dinner at 3:30. The lunch buffet is $ 6.99 and the dinner buffet is $ 10.99, on Sundays it’s an all day dinner buffet. Carry out is available by the pound and priced at $ 3.99 a pound for lunch, $ 4.99 per pound for dinner and sushi and seafood is $ 5.99 per pound. Free ice cream for children under three on Sundays. They have several dessert tables, so even if you want to just have dessert or sushi who can beat these prices? It is BYOB, You have to go, now close your mouth, I can’t help you with the bloating.
