The women that works behind the desk are horrible! It is a shame because the doctors are actually great and professional. The front desk are suppose to represent the establishment but they are not welcoming at all! Every time I go in the women seems unhappy, rude, or maybe on menopause, idk. I read the review below and I had the same experience… And that review was from 2012!
However, they are good about confirming and reminding you about your appointments a few days before. Contacts/​glasses are ready earlier than expected. This place can be so much better if they worked on their customer service.

I was just told that I would need to go back and PAY for another eye exam because they only checked my eyes for a glasses exam and not a contact lens exam. Why was I not asked if I wanted both when I went in the first time? And yes, «gentleman» I spoke with on the phone — I would remember being asked this.
Guess who’ll never be back to these money grubbers.

I was really happy 3 years ago; but The Customer service it’s getting really bad.
Really sad to leave dr Sandra but no way to be treated like that.

I looked this place up online first and was pleased to see a nice, clean store in the wasteland that is the northeast. The shop is close to me, takes my insurance, and the hours were flexible when I made my appointment. Unfortunately, my experience was meh. The women who work behind the counter are horrendous — you pretty much have to ask them to help you, even if you’re standing right there in an empty store. I felt like I was being a nuisance. Dr. Moore who checked my eyes was fine, no complaints about her. It’s a pain trying on glasses too — everything is locked up and when you have to ask these women to help you, it’s an entire production that even includes eye rolling when you ask to see another case of glasses. When I came back to get my glasses, I waited for 15 minutes before anyone even said they’d be with me in a moment. If my glasses weren’t free with my insurance, I absolutely would have gone elsewhere and don’t plan to return there in the future. Save yourself some time and frustration and head to your good old lens crafters or pearl — the service is far superior.

I have been going here for the last 8 years or so for my eye exams, contacts, and glasses, and I just love this place. The front desk staff are always super friendly, and the doctors are really nice. It’s easy to get an appointment, the eye exams are hassle-​free, and the contacts/​glasses orders arrive quickly. They’ll even call you to tell you when your order is available for pick-​up. They also give you a free travel-​size contact solution with your contacts order. They’ve also always gotten my contacts right — I can see clearly, and they fit my eye perfectly. And that’s saying a lot b/​c I’m super blind without lenses, and I have an astigmatism. I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone who needs glasses or contacts, or even just a good eye doctor.
