We had amazing service and the food — WOW!
We got the sampler of egg rolls and meatballs that just melted in my mouth. Grandma’s recipe rocks!
Beautiful space– only wish we could have seen the rooftop space, but there was a wedding party up there

Celebrated my husbands birthday here tonight. What a wonderful experience!
Starting with the elevator ride to 2nd floor-​just sets the tone for elegant ambience. Food was incredible. Best steak I’ve ever had. I like my steaks well done and it was perfect and so flavorful.
Medium rare for my husband was perfect also. The service was impeccable.
We’ll definitely go back.

Recently retired and new to Philadelphia! My wife and I decided to celebrate my birthday there and we both had a memorable evening. Beautiful and expansive dining room with attentive service and top notch food. Best filet mignon ever and extensive wine list! We will certainly return in the near future when only a fine meal will suffice.

Great atmosphere and lovely place. We ordered delicious tuna tartare as an appetizer to accompany our cocktails. The bartender is excellent!
I really appreciate that they offer a gluten free lunch/​dinner menu.
As for the entrée I had the sea scallops and the risotto was amazing.
I would give 5 stars but we traveled in and parking was a pain. We didn’t realize they offered valet until walking up to the place.

If you are in the mood for amazing food and fantastic entertainment, head to the bar at Davios. If you are lucky, you will meet both Liza and Chuck, the most amazing bartenders and entertainers that Phllly has to offer.
Liza will suggest the wines, drinks and food. Chuck will do the same and you will be mesmerized by their choices as well as their jokes!!!
Last night was a special 4 course meal with wine parings by Merriam Vineyards in California.
The Sauvignon Blanc was to die for!
As much as I love the formal seating with 5 star service in the dining room, sit at the bar with Liza and Chuck.
The laughs will make you wish you lived in Philly!!!

My family knows that if your want to make me happy — make reservations at Davio’s. I first went to Davio’s during restaurant week and fell in love with it. The ambiance and the 2 story arched windows are gorgeous. The service is impeccable and the steaks are the best in the city. When I have friends in town, I always take them to Davio’s and they love it too! I have celebrate so many milestones at this restaurant I stopped counting, but I can always count on Davio’s to provide an exceptional evening.

The staff’s customer service was amazing. I don’t don’t think my water glass ever made it below half way filled. They were always right there and very attentive. My food was great, but my boyfriend said his side dish seemed to have been sitting under the hot lamp for awhile. They also wrote my name on my dessert for my birthday which was nice. I’d go back!

Davios is one of my go to spots in the city. Little known fact is that they serve a great yet inexpensive breakfast. Was there last week for dinner with a friend and they did not disappoint. I had the frutti di mare and ceasar salad which we’re both very good. The pasta bolognese here is one of the best in the city. They have also have a very nice wine list.

Great Italian restaurant right across from the Sofitel hotel. Came here for Easter dinner. Nice ambience and good energy. Complimentary popover was good although I thought the waiter said it was supposed to be a cheese popover but instead tasted like a plain one. I ordered the jumbo lump crab pasta with artichokes, peas and spinach. Very light and healthy size portion. I was only able to eat half of it. The artichoke flavor is very strong so don’t order this unless you like artichokes. Great service and friendly staff. Definitely a good Italian option in Center City Philly!

This was a great experience, and one of the best service I have ever received from a restaurant. The food was great. I had a great appetizer and entrée. The servers and staff seem genuinely willing to provide great service. We had a reservation, and there was not a wait, and the meals came out at reasonable times.
An upscale restaurant, but they can adapt to kids. They had a kids menu, and the staff was nice and interacted with my kids. My party loved the deserts.
It was a great experience; expensive, but worth it. You get what you pay for.

Pretty good food, nice atmosphere, decent service. The white linen napkin got all over my black suit, but that was honestly my biggest complaint. I’ve eaten here twice and just wasn’t «wowed» during either visit. I enjoyed the food, it just really isn’t anything special.

Davio’s is located in the Club Quarters Hotel, so we visited several times while we were visiting Philadelphia. We enjoyed their dinner service, a light supper, drinks at the bar, and a night cap in their lounge area in the bar. Each time we experienced the service and quality one would expect in an establishment of this caliber.
We arrived near closing on our first night in the hotel (Thursday) and chose to have a light supper at the bar. The flat bread pizza was very tasty and satisfying. My husband was pleased with the beer choices (both bottled and on tap) and the house cab was very tasty! We took a glass of wine to go to our room and they provided a very generous pour! Several times over the next four day we enjoyed cocktails or night caps on the couches in the lounge area of the bar. None of those times did we choose to «dress» and were never made to feel unwelcome because of our more casual attire.
We dined here one night and simply put, it was wonderful! My husband had the salmon and I had the flat iron steak. His fish was cooked to perfection, and my steak came out perfectly medium rare. We both chose the potato leak soup ~ AMAZING! And the accompanying dishes were definitely not a disappointment. The wait staff was fabulous, each waiter made sure that every table and diner was cared for as if we each belonged exclusively to them. If your server was occupied, another would appear to make sure every need was met, yet you didn’t feel as if you were being hovered over.
We can’t wait until our next trip to the city (or another of the cities Davio’s is in) so we can enjoy their services and food again!

Every time I eat, I usually like to get the cheesesteak spring rolls. They are the best in the city — hands down. There’s a reason why they sell it in a package!
Unfortunately, they didn’t have it this week so I had to settle for a healthier option — arugula salad that had some fresh parm on top. They also come out with this ridiculously big pepper grinder that’s the size of a baseball bat.
Ordered the gnocchi that came with mushrooms, basil and truffle oil. The gnocchi was light and fluffy — one of the best in philly.
The meal ended with a sampler of desserts — chocolate mousse, cheesecake and a berry cake. All tasty!

My girlfriend and I ate here on a Sunday evening. We were very excited to check this place out with the reviews that everyone else was leaving about Davio’s.
Sadly, we were very disappointed in the food. The 16oz ribeye was hardly seasoned and the veal chop was dry despite it being ordered medium rare. I’ve never claimed to be a great cook and the food tasted like something an amateur would cook and serve. Especially for the price of the food, we were unimpressed. The high point of the meal was definitely the drinks and the wine.
I hope that we just hit the place on an off night. The place was very crowded and had a very cool, old school vibe.

Every meal at Davio’s is delicious and so special. The service is over the top! Every server takes pride in their job and they all add to the experience. The menu is full of options so it’s hard to select but you can’t go wrong with anything.
Even though it is a steakhouse, I tend to order their seafood dishes because they are perfectly seasoned and prepared flawlessly. Last night I enjoyed the Sea Scallops, perfectly seared.
I highly recommend the Crispy Calamari and Roasted Beet Salad as starters. Crispy Calamari is full of flavor with cherry peppers mixed in to add an extra kick.
Save room for dessert! All of the selections are amazing. Affagato is what I enjoyed last night. The word ‘affagato’ is Italian for ‘drowning’. (The server taught me that) The dessert is like an upside down ice cream sundae that is drowning in coffee. Great way to end a wonderful meal! They also made it even more special and wrote the word ‘congratulations’ on the plate since they knew my fiancé and I were celebrating our engagement. How sweet!

After visiting some attractions along the Parkway, my boyfriend brought me to Davio’s for drinks before our dinner reservation at another spot. We walked in and I was immediately taken by the elegance and charm of the space. It felt so warm and inviting — almost like stepping into someone’s (really nice) house. We sat on one of the couches in the bar area which was filled a handful of men and groups of gal pals meeting up for post-​work/​happy hour drinks.
Our server was very sweet, greeting us with a big smile and offering us complimentary appetizers while we enjoyed our drinks. I originally ordered one of their speciality cocktail but our server came back out a few minutes later telling me that they were out of a particular ingredient included in the mixology so I went with a glass of pinot grigio instead which is great (in addition to that they give you a generous pour).
Overall the great ambience, beautiful architecture and friendly service definitely makes me eager to return some day for dinner.

Steakhouses aren’t really my thing, but I very much enjoyed my meal at Davio’s.
We started with some cocktails, and I had a deliciously seasonal fig drink with gin that was fantastic. Everything I had at the rest of the bars we went to that night paled in comparison. Couple something like that with those INCREDIBLE popovers that come out in the bread basket and you know you’re in for a great meal. I could have eaten several baskets of those and called it a night.
Appetizers and entrees were fantastic as well. Highlights from the appetizers would be the calamari and the cheesesteak spring rolls. Really classy versions of pedestrian food that really wowed. Finished that off with a classic Caesar (excellent dressing) and a ribeye and I was a full, happy camper.

Service is amazing. The bread on the table isn’t your typical bread with butter. They are delicious popovers — light fluffy hollow rolls. The sea scallops cooked medium rare are perfect and delicious. Cheesesteak eggrolls are great with a spicy ketchup and mustard. Definitely recommend the calamari, kobe beef meatballs and crab cakes. Very accommodating for large parties. I agree their specialties are seafood and Italian.

Rosemary Lemonade was the drink I chose. It was refreshing. The service was great and the ambience wonderful. I went solo, while I waited for my daughter to finish working. Sometimes, one can be treated like a pariah, when dining alone, but not here! Excellent treatment. As an appetizer, I ordered the calamari, which, even as a small plate was filling.

First off, the food was all very good. If you wanna go, go for the food. Wine: also very good.
The atmosphere was bizarre. It seemed overdone and confused. The music was a collection of current popular radio songs, which did not match the ‘have a steak in an old bank’ interior. The service was crazy attentive, almost intrusive. There were people hovering around the room like Hawks ready to ask how something tasted.

The food was really good.
