I’m loving this place! I’ve been twice in the past month and just really dig the laid-back vibe. There are several TVs for sports-watching, plus a pool table. No food is served but you can BYO in that department which is awesome. Solid beer list and I love the local ciders that have been on tap. My only negative comment is that I’ve heard about the legendary Bloody Marys served at Atlantis but they were out both times we visited. Hoping to catch them on a stocked day soon so I can try one!

This bar is great! Cheap drinks, nice people, and to top it all of there was a dog at the bar! Despite the«divey-ness» of this bar, the bathrooms were very clean and the service was attentive. I will definitely be returning! It’s a great place for either a Sunday funday or casual night out.

Typical dive bar. Clientele were a mix of locals and hipsters. Drinks were very cheap. $ 3.50 for PBC brews.

It’s a shame that I never want to go to this bar since I live across the street. I’ve been here twice and both times was treated really rudely by the short, plump guy with a beard. I’m not sure what his problem is but I’m not paying to go to a place where I am treated badly to the point that even though I am a neighbor and live across the street I have bad taste in my mouth every time I see this place which is unfortunate since it could have been my local. Lose the attitude. Clearly I’m not the only one who feels this way according to several other reviews. Seriously… wtf?

Great little dive bar, been here a few times after going to the Annual PBS Open House, they usually have all of PBCs beers on tap and you can even bring your own food in and enjoy! Definitely a cool place to hangout since it’s right across the street from Philadelphia BrewCo

This bar has low seating but all the heart and action of a larger bar. The drinks come quick when you aren’t treating the bartenders like animals. The drinks as well as quick are cheap and plentiful. I frequent thus place a lot, and it takes in all types. From nights with the hippest of hop to the most metal of metal the musical selection varies and suits one and all. I saw a few negative reviews and can say, at times service of two, usually one, bartender(s) can get slow when there are 50+ occupants. What do you expect? Someone to dote on your every whim? Find some center city bar with a million tenders to be mean to. The bar allows dogs during the day hours, but asks politely at night(due to loud music and high volume) you leave the fluff balls at home. They love dogs, but hate when a patron is afraid of your pet.

Favoritism of bar patrons seats. Will take your seat out from your spot and give to another. When apologizing, they are argumentative… They forget you’re the customer!!! Not the bar I knew 5 years ago.

This bar is amazing. The bartenders offer exceptional service and are very attentive. It has a laid back and relaxed vibe that automatically makes you very comfortable. My absolute favorite part about this bar is the women’s bathroom! I know that sounds weird but it is unusually clean and smells like bleach. Love the attention to detail. When you stop in make sure you see Frankie. He’s amazing.

One of the cleanest dive bars you’ll see, in a still-dirty neighborhood. Wednesday nights Justin spins a different theme each week. One of the last places in town to offer the citywide special for 3 bucks(with Heaven Hill, which I prefer to Beam). No food, though at off-peak hours there are free pretzels.

Everytime I go I love the music. The vvibe is chill and casual. I never have to worry if I’m going to have a bad or good time because it’s always just what it is. It is what it is. Lucky for me the place is around the corner so the commute is excellent and my boyfriend and I are not interested in necessarily meeting anyone new so we’re perfectly happy just people watching for the most part: which is never less than entertaining! Prices are right and music is good. Not a bad little nook at all!

One of my favorite bars in this area. Usually I do a beer tasting at PBC then dinner at Pizza Brain then Atlantis for after dinner drinks. The place is tiny but has some great drafts and cheap prices. Being that PBC and Yards are right around the corner, the draft prices are super cheap. During the week, its a «leave me the hell alone» old man bar. And I’m fine with that.

I’m into the Philadelphia Brewing Co. beer selection on tap. Prices are reasonable. It’s a good neighborhood hangout and not a locals only dive. A lot of people would be impressed by the apparent cool vibe that flows through Atlantis. Sometimes, though, it can get a little boring. There’s no jukebox. Fine. But the DJ selection is highly questionable for a bar. I’m a big fan of all sorts of music, but drinking to boring classical, or jazz funk experimental, or hits from the 1940’s can deflate a man’s buzz. The TV is almost always on something boring… they will play local sports though, if you like that. And there’s not much else to do at the place. There’s one pool table. No stage for performance. No food which probably costs them a ton of business. Maybe that’s what people like about it. Your only options are drinking and talking with neighbors. For those purposes, Atlantis gets the job done. It doesn’t get any better than that. Or does it?

Go-to spot for watching Eagles games this past season. Plenty of cheering and high-fiving at the bar. $ 1PBR during games(maybe all day?). Free bagels and cream cheese. $ 8 Bloody Marys that are delicious and loaded with crazy stuff on top(including a whole shrimp and a slice of salami and cheese rolled up) that’s half a meal by itself. Lots of PBC on tap. $ 3 city-wides always. Good prices for everything.

I wouldn’t go out of my way to come back here. Came here on a whim with the roommate, who said he used to frequent this place(mostly because of the pool table). I found the«regulars» there to be a mix of odd, friendly, pompous, and jerkface. Not too crazy about the beers on tap. The bartender seemed like a cool guy at first, but ended up throwing up attitude when I wanted to order more brews but he was busy smoking a cigarette outside. That was our cue to leave.

Gigantic bloody marys(weekends only). Allow dogs(except friday and saturday nights). Friendly staff and crowd. CHEAP philly beers($ 3 bucks for most philly brewing co. beers). Cheap growler fills. Typically has bagels, pretzels, birthday cake, or other snacks. BOARDGAMES! City wide special. Pool table. 50 cent off happy hour during the week. Tis a wonderful bar!

Six years ago I celebrated my twenty-first birthday here. And I’ve been going ever since. I spent way too much time and money here in my younger years and though it’s not the bar that it once was, now almost seeming like a destination bar on weekends, it’s still a great one. I came here a lot for dollar PBR Sundays, and even though that’s gone, I still come here for a citywide every now and then. Bartenders are nice people, for the most part, occasionally arrogant and rude. But they don’t need to be much more simply because this place is swarming now. Stick with the cheap stuff, though, PBC is rough.
