I purchased a large Air Conditioner from this store. They sold me a 5 year service plan. This is the second time in the 5 years that it needed service and each time, I was unable to get the «service provider» to service the air conditioner. I have called the store and spoken to two employees. They tell me to just «wait» until I hear back from this service provider. It has been 24 hours and they have not returned my calls. I asked to speak with the store owner. Ron, the «asst mngr.» refused to provide the owner’s name. My e-​mails have been ignored. I cannot have a non working air conditioner any lonmger! This store is engaging in a deceptive business practice. That is criminal. I would suggest you find a reputable store to purchase your appliances from.

Best place for air conditioners. They were cheaper than Lowes and Depot and had different brands to choose from. Kevin helped and was very knowledgeable. There was a lot of appliances there too so I will definitely go back when I need a new appliance.

Great store, great people, and great prices! I bought my TV here and the prices were much better than any of their competitors. I would definitely recommend looking into their appliances before going elsewhere.

I have purchased a dishwasher and a clothes dryer from this business. Aside from keeping it local, this place is convenient because their inventory is actually on hand. I have gone to Lowe’s and Home Depot and nothing is in stock, as far as appliances go. This store not only will deliver, they have items available to carry out. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I also had a warranty issue with the dishwasher and a repairman was sent out immediately and the problem was resolved. I recommend this business.

I had a 24 inch gas range delivered and «installed». The delivery guy told me that he «wasn’t allowed to touch the gas line». WTF???

I visited this place a while before I actually bought my washer/​dryer to see what my options were for getting a washer/​dryer through a 23″ wide door to the basement. They were pretty helpful in answering my questions though my options were very limited. I had a choice between a 1 or 2 speed washer, and a gas or electric dryer.
I checked out two other places in the area. A «store» on Frankford and Trenton that I wouldn’t send my worst enemy. And an appliance store at Aramingo and York. The one at Aramingo and York didn’t have very friendly hours for the 9 — 5’er, mainly because their hours are 9 — 5. I peered through the window and saw the same models but a few hundo more than Appliance & TV Discounters.
Back to Appliance & TV. Walked in and bought the new washer/​dryer without any problems. The salesman, Al, was helpful and set me up with a quick delivery date and called a installation guy for me. Who is separate and costs extra, but that is because they had to dis/​re-​assemble the units to get them downstairs.
Delivery day I was surprised when the installation guy arrived with the washer/​dryer. He said the delivery guys are «too slow» for them. I had arranged removal with delivery so I had to call the store back a few times. They came about a week later to remove the old units. They could have come sooner but I needed them to come on a Saturday.
Also, I had disassembled the old units and removed them from the basement myself so I wouldn’t have to pay for someone to. I was able to throw a bunch out with the normal garbage, but the bigger pieces like the drums were not taken and what I needed removed. This might be why the other reviewer had some problems.
