Rodeway Inn & Suites

After reading the reviews I almost didn’t book but for the price I decided to stay. So glad I did I must say much better than M 6 clean room, nice up to date rooms, nice clerk. I will Def stay again. Please when doing review be honest. I almost missed a nice place based on reviews.

I had to come to Seattle unexpectedly because my son was the victim of a violent crime. I couldn’t afford much of a place to stay. Rodeway Inn was close to the airport, about a 5 minute walk from the train, and perfect location-​wise. The bathroom was spotless. The linens were fresh and crisp. There was a fridge in the room, and a microwave in the lobby that could be used, so there was really no need to go out to eat. Rodeway is clearly a family-​owned and operated business. I like knowing that my money is going to a family, not a faceless entity. The breakfast was as follows: Drinks: milk, orange juice, tea and coffee. Cereal: cheerios and/​or cornflakes. Muffins: blueberry and/​or banana nut Toast: white bread with real butter and a choice of three types of jam. Because the guest washing machine was out of service, staff were willing to do a complete load of laundry (wash and dry) for $ 5.00. Pretty comparable in price to doing it at a laundromat, and far more convenient. Computer with printer available in the lobby. I really don’t know what people are complaining about. It is darn near the cheapest motel in the Seattle area and for the price it is a super, super bargain. Of course it isn’t the Hilton, but at least in my experience it was clean and the staff was friendly and helpful.

Avoid and keep driving. Front desk staff were very helpful when giving our refund, but that is about it.

The night started like this — we checked in and we were immediately put into a smoking room when we had booked a non-​smoking. Strike one. I was offered drugs on the walk from the lobby to my room. When I ignored the guy, he yelled at me. I turn around and there is another guy leaning against the railing, directly in front of my room, drinking soda and then throwing the cans into the parking lot. Strike two. The room would have been cleaner if someone had actually cleaned it, not just remade the bed from the previous person who left nasties all over the sheets, graffiti and holes in the wall, stole the batteries from the remote for the 90s tv, and stole the top drawer of the dresser (why the drawer?! I keep wondering why the drawer…). Oh, and the brown urine (?) stains on toilet seat and floor were underwhelming. Strike three.
The night was saved, however, by the assistant manager who hooked us up with another room that was at least clean, yet still not completely satisfactory. Although, it did take some persuading to get her to move us. I thought I was almost going to get some sleep when there was a shirtless old gentleman partying outside and some terrible ringing coming from somewhere around the hotel that I thought might actually make my brains start running out my ears. Oh, and they do have nice rooms scattered around the hotel, I walked passed on and looked through the window. Compared to our two rooms of the night it looked glorious. I bet the person living in the RV in the parking lot thought I was crazy by just standing and staring longingly at an empty room with a cushy bed with clean sheets. Oh well.

Worst customer service ever can’t sleep in this hotel and the house keeping is the worst they don’t even have laundry bags wow u can’t …u wish they had a never go there star omigod room smells and this place gives me the creeps all over

good price. the first room was so so, had smell. and bad wifi that was back side of the motel. second room was great on lobby side. and stayed 3 and nice room too. staff was great too.

Place is a dump stay away. cant say it enough, the breakfast was a waffle and the mix was waterd down the milk and oj where warm, the ground where dirty and grass was dead, Shower curtin had mold on it paint was falling off the walls. Had a hi price for a low class hotel should call it a motel but place had some ho’s working the place…
