We both ordered bacon cheeseburgers. They were excellent. We also ordered onion rings that were excellant, crispy & not greasy. Very small hole in the wall. It has 6 barstools for indoor seating, everything else is outside. We would definitly go back.

Best bacon cheeseburger and onion rings in humboldt! I wish they were open for dinner rather than just lunch. Awesome milk shakes too!

Ridiculously delicious burgers! This is a hidden treasure and once you’ve tried it you’ll only want to go back!!! A cheeseburger and chocolate shake are my favorite… You have got to try this place!

My boyfriend was on the road all day and starved by the time we got to this tiny burger stand. Ideal for a quick pit stop, the menu is short and sweet. All burgers come with a mayo/mustard spread, lettuce, relish, tomatoes and onions. We each got a Swiss bacon jalapeño burger and a small onion ring to stare. Burger patties were a good size, not too thick they aren’t cooked or too thin they break apart. The onion were crispy and hot, but maybe needed a little garlic powder in the batter or something. Only thing I’d gripe about is that they only have canned soda, sometimes fountain sodas are so good! I’d come back

Went here on an early Valentine’s Date Day with my hubby. He had good teenage memories of the place and I had never been. And any excuse to go out to The Victorian Village of Ferndale! They were super friendly, and service was pretty fast. They were doing decent business to. We ordered burgers, with everything, and shared a large order of fries. My burger patty was falling apart, and apparently«everything» meant lettuce, mustard and relish. Funny considering other people were ordering asking for no tomatoes and onions… like those things were standard… hmmm. The fries were kind of soggy and underseasoned… and the off brand packets of ketchup they had were down right disgusting. Sucks… I had such high hopes!

I didn’t care for my meal here. I went because the reviews are so good, but I wasn’t impressed. My milkshake was good. My onion rings were way overcooked. My burger had so much mustard on it I couldn’t taste anything else. I guess I’ll try again because all my friends love it and the reviews are so good, I must have just gone on an off day.

Classic American Burger(with cheese if you like) Nothing fancy, the way a burger should be. The meat is hand packed, grilled just right, the buns are grilled also. This is as good as it gets for simplicity and nostalgia. The smallest joint that you will miss if you blink. Don’t worry, everyone in town knows where it is and will point you back. The fries are great too.

On the way home, I asked my niece of her favorite meal. She said her hamburger. I could argue, but why? Get the onion rings over fries. Enjoy.

We stopped by this unique burger stand as starving tourists unfamiliar with this little town of Ferndale but eager to explore. Thankfully, we just happened to see this hole in the wall eatery.(Really pay attention when you drive into town, because if you blink, you may miss it.) Well, we sure were glad we found it, because we enjoyed a fantastic lunch at No Brand Burger Stand. Their burgers were all we could have wished for, the fries were scrumptious, and their milkshake was the perfect end to a wonderful meal. However, our absolute favorite was their secret sauce that we dipped our fries into. They really should bottle and sell that stuff. Just great! The only downside was the location. Hard to find, no shade, old wood tables with lots of spider webs(especially in the baby seats), and flies. Yet, don’t let these things keep you from trying out this unique burger stand. You won’t regret it. I would still count this as my cup of tea(with a few flies buzzing around for good measure).

Not a bad burger, by any means. And maybe in the top 5 for Humboldt? As all burgers around here, grass fed beef. I dig that processed chee, so that’s good. Bacon is bacon and should be added to everything. Special sauce takes away from the messy & greasy(a good thing), well seasoned patty. Location, flies, and price are why I have this place 3 stars. I will consider coming back, but not in the near future.

Very tasty burgers at this burger stand(5 stools inside, picnic tables outside). Burgers are all-natural beef, topped with organic tomatoes, etc. They Grill the buns too. A perfectly prepared burger. Their ‘secret sauce’ is mayo, catsup, Cajun seasoning, and balsamic vinegar. They let it age overnight. A must on your burger!

Unbelievable burger– a must stop on your way through Humboldt County. It’s about 5 – 10 miles off the highway, but do it– you have to. I’m pretty sure you can see the cows they use for their beef in the backdrop.

No Brand was fantastic! We stopped because the homemade sign on the sidewalk advertised fresh crab sandwiches. You want Meg to stop you say? Well all right cardboard sign, you’ve got a deal! The crab sandwich ended up being about a 7 out of 10 on the awesome scale. It tasted like it was fairly new to the restaurant and the recipe for the dressing needed tweaking to be perfect, but after one bite of my honey’s burger I was definitely as HUGE fan. The service isn’t the best(nice but not especially friendly or bubbly) and there’s not much seating inside or out(two or so picnic tables) but the food speaks for itself. A definite place we’re stopping at next time we make the trip up!

Closed!!! Picture this — we had just finished an overnight trip on the Lost Coast. Some raccoons, prairie dogs, or other creature managed to steal our breakfast at our beach campsite. So, we hiked 4 miles back to our car, drove an hour back to Ferndale, all with the solitary thought: greasy burgers and fries from No Brand. But as we pulled up, we were alarmed to see their CLOSED sign illuminated!!! GRRRR! I had taken a photo of their hours last time I was here(its posted on here), and thought we’d be ok. Man, I wanted some No Brand Burgers. Oh well. :(
