Antiques & More

I’m just not sure this is the best fit for this space.
We dropped in and I was expecting to be met with the Hobart Kinetic Sculpture museum, I wanted to show the honey which one I had worked on with the man himself. But instead we found an eclectic antique shop, with many cute items, a few really fun sewn items, a lot of… run of the mill antiques.
These shops tend not to do so well in Ferndale, with the exception of the Gait Mercantile whose bulk merch tends to be new items.
I’m not sure why the museum closed, but I missed it and while I admired the gorgeous hand warmers and xmas ornaments Antiques carried, I don’t think this space in it’s current incarnation will be long for main street.
Love the big wood stove though. Thats always a high point of dropping by this space!
