I visited Fernandina this past weekend and my cousin chose this restaurant to try. First of all, it was chilly and the indoor seating is limited to maybe 15 people. They have an outdoor area with big picnic tables. We ate there. We had oyster po’boys, clam strips, and blackened shrimp tacos. The food was good. The batter on the oysters and clam strips was excellent. The shrimp seemed to be of the frozen, farm raised variety. They definitely weren’t fresh, sea shrimp from our local shrimp boats. All in all, I would return but I do look forward to trying more restaurants in the area.

Great Tacos and Oysters. Great casual place to stop for beers and seafood. Very happy. Most seating is outside under a nice pergola. Go up to the counter to order and they call your name when finished. We had fried, grilled, and blackened and thought blackened to be the best.

Everything was delicious but our favorites were the poke bowl and lobster roll. the fried shrimp taco was good too but a little more flavor in a sauce would have been awesome. Great place, nice staff, and quick service! Highly recommend!

Food: 4 Service: 4 Ambience: 3 Date/Time: 12/15/20157:30pm Now I have a comparison of similar business models from a review I did yesterday for Gilbert’s Underground :-) Timoti’s is set up as a very casual place with more a serve yourself type of model just like Gilbert’s. You walk in to a counter with a menu behind the person taking your order, then place your order, pay for it and wait to be called up to get it. The one HUGE difference is the food… Timoti’s has great tasting food that tastes as good as it reads on the menu! VERY friendly person behind the counter and fast service making the order as opposed to Gilbert’s «hostess» basically just there for the job and going through the motions. Much different atmosphere and feel. The place itself is set up more for outdoor seating as there is a large patio with quite a few picnic tables, while inside, just a couple of small tables and a long bar-like table with stools along the window. Nothing fancy. just clean places to sit :-) We ordered the T’s Wrap with grilled chicken and the Chopped Salad with blackened chicken. Both were really great and plenty of food… didn’t even need any sides. Highly recommended!

Beautiful day! Walk in and you feel like you are in someone’s backyard… complete with a pirate ship style playground! Good start!!! You have to go inside to place your order. Which you might not realize if you aren’t from here. The menu is clear and easy to read. So far I have had their Mahi(previous day) and today I wasn’t too hungry so ingot the taco. At $ 3.99 I wasn’t sure how much substance I was going to get. I was pleasantly surprised to see such a generous amount of grilled fish on my taco. It wasn’t over cooked. Super moist. Yum!!! My kids loved the place because of the pirate ship. That’s pretty much the coolest thing at this or any restaurant! My parents ordered the salad box and Po’kie bowl. They are both thinking that they won’t be hungry for dinner. And it’s only 2pm! We will definitely come back for a third or more times!!!

Yessss!!! I have been salivating over Timoti’s for months. I finally got to visit my last trip to Florida and oh my gawh it was da bomb. First You order at the counter and you give your name and they call you when it’s ready. We arrived on a surprisingly windy and chilly Sunday afternoon with little to no seating inside to accommodate five people we plopped down on a wooden park bench outside. The food was so good we couldn’t be bothered with the wind or the cold. It was so fresh and flavorful. I could eat there everyday. We had the tuna poke’ bowl, blackened shrimp nachos, chicken tacos, seaweed salad, and kids chicken tenders with fries. It was everything I thought it was going to be and more. The tuna and avocado was just what I needed after binging on not so healthy cuisine for the past week. The staff was very hospitable and the restaurant was clean. They have a cool wooden pirate ship for the kids to jump around on outside in the courtyard. The prices are very reasonable and the food is delicious. When I find myself out that way again you besta believe I’ll be at Timoti’s.

Best place on the island so far. Fabulous fresh fish, fun casual atmosphere. We ate there twice. The service was very good and the place is just cool.

It’s been a while since my cutie patootie and I visited Amelia Island. Tasty Burger’s is now the número uno joint in town. I was feeling the burgers, but my bf suggested Timoti’s, another hotly-rated joint. Because of my unconditional love for my bf, I relented. Timoti’s definitely got a nice«shak» feel. There are quaint picnic seating outside. In fact, the outdoor patio space is larger than the indoor space. We arrived right around lunch time and there was a little line budding out the door. David initially wanted the shrimp basket but was told it came with 8 shrimps. He decided that wasn’t worth it and ordered the lobster roll instead. I got the shrimp po boy. We also ordered clam chowder and seaweed salad. Overall, I was more impressed with the clam chowder and seaweed salad than with our a la carte entrees. The clam chowder may very well be the best chowder I have ever had thus far. The seaweed salad is the type served at Japanese or Korean restaurants. I was impressed at its freshness and great taste. Makes me wonder if they prepared it themselves or not. The shrimp po boy and the lobster roll, though very aesthetic, didn’t taste complete in my book. I felt the po boy could have used more sauce. The bread, breading, and scant sauce made the sandwich a little dry. However, the shrimp tasted pretty fresh. I was surprised to see the lobster roll was only $ 10. Even in Boston, during lobster season, the cheapest roll I’d see was around $ 14. I was glad my bf ordered it bc I was very curious to see what the roll was like. The lobster was served in folded toast. The dish came with two toasts. It may not be completely fresh, but my bf thoroughly enjoyed it.

Just left here a few hours ago. I absolutely loved my lobster rolls. The bread was perfectly buttery and toasted while the lobster salad was cold with not too much mayo. I wished I had this place close by me because I’d definitely frequent Timoti’s. It’s a great deal too! Two lobster rolls for 10.99(no sides though). If I ever visit Amelia island again, I’m definitely coming back!

4 stars — great spot for quick quality seafood lunch in AI We went here based of excellent reviews on Unilocal and also a craving for fresh seafood in Amelia Island. This place is laid back, island style outdoor seating on large picnic tables. We ordered the crab burger and fried fish with fries. The crab burger was fried and had a bam bam sauce, it was really excellent, and honestly I didn’t really need the bun, since the burger itself just great. The burgers don’t come with a side, so be sure to order a side of fries etc, if you think you might need them. The fried fish basket does come with fries and coleslaw and both were excellent too, a large portion might I add. Everything was cooked to order, fresh. We ordered 1 water and 1 drink. It was nice they had real ice tea, both sweet and unsweet, as well as a soda fountain variety. Also a nice feature was both lemon and limes were available. They also sell beers and speciality canned sodas. They have both outside(a larger area) and inside seating. Each table has a paper towel roll with condiments. All in all, I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anymore for an easy-going seafood lunch. And I would love to go back!
