My 16 yr old daughter got her license, when we got to the window lady asked to see my license and than asked why our last names are different??? I was like what do you mean!!! She’s like oh, nevermind. So rude! Our names are the same, I was shocked at her attitude. I paid with my credit card and kept the cash. When she saw it she asked you know that we charge extra fee? I’m aware of the 3 $ fee, I said. I saw your posted sign. I just want the points on my credit card. Thanks!

Really good experience here. They open at 10am on Thursday, so I arrived at 9:30 expecting a line. Seven people were ahead of me and maybe 25 people in line by time the doors opened. I just needed to renew my drivers licence. You tell the person working the info desk what you need and she gives you a number. I was sitting maybe 2 minutes before I was up. All finished in ten minutes! This place is quick and the workers I dealt with were all super nice and friendly.

This place was actually pretty quick, we got here 10 minutes after and there was a line outside the front, it actually went by pretty fast. We were there to replace a lost ID and the wait to get called was about less than 10 minutes. Cost $ 20 and waited about 5 – 10 more minutes to get the picture taken. Every staff was really friendly and reminded us to have our things ready to speed the process. Professional and clean and quite fast. We were out of there by 9:35am.

There is a crazy looooooong line to get in here everyday (I pass it on my way to VFGC). The 2 times in the last year that I’ve needed to go here I totally dreaded it. However, both times they were SUPER FAST, FRIENDLY & efficient. The guy at the front desk (who unlocks the door and has a desk right inside is very funny and knows exactly what he is doing and helps expedite your experience (this guy should give classes to employees of other government agencies).
In the next year, I will be here a couple of times — since I have a 15 yr old — so be on the lookout for updates!

I’ve been here a total of 3 times in the past year and every time has been quick and painless. Fees are fees, its not like this office chooses what to charge, it’s a state regulation so despite me not liking what I have to pay — I do it because there isn’t room for negotiation.
I like that this place is open Monday — Friday like any other place. It’s convenient to be able to go online to check waiting times as well. There’s a pretty spacious parking lot and lots of food options within walking distance if you know the wait is going to be too long.

It was a while back that I was last here, and I was concerned that, perhaps, things had went back to how they used to be. Wrong! We were fixing some license problems for my son. It was fast and everyone we spoke with was courteous and efficient. It feels a bit funny to say it; but there are a lot of businesses out there that need to learn from the DOL regarding what customer service is supposed to be. They are continuing to do an awesome job!

This office can be busy but isn’t as busy as offices I have been to in California. Little greeter gentleman is very polite and nice. We went in to change our address to our new apartment. However, he gave us a number. We found the machine up front can do this. No biggie but we had the baby with us and we were on a time allowance of 2 hr between her feeds. We used the machine and got in and out in under 20 minutes.

it is crazy how they charge a $ 35.00 fee even if a kids takes the driving test at the school. They don’t have a agent available for test for months. you have to go to other Departments office to take a drive test. Really you pay 2 fees.
