Papa John’s Pizza

Let me start with that we go to Papa John’s often, rarely have issues, and I have never left a negative review. But this issue has been ongoing way to long for how simple it is. We spent 30 bucks Feb 16^th, pizza, garlic knots and a pizza. We always get the garlic knots and that’s the first thing we dig into since it’s our favorite on the menu. However, this time it came dry as a bone, no sauce. We noticed when we got home. They obviously knew it was a problem, but their solution was give us extra garlic packets and parmesian packets. What?! Apparently this was supposed to be a DIY (do it yourself) project for us. As if those ingredients would be even close to the advertised product. I still didn’t have a problem because I knew they would just replace it when I talked to the right people. However, I have been in contact with the Internet «customer service» folks since then. It is march 1^st now, are you kidding me? This is a 5 dollar menu item that they seem to have an issue simply replacing, so here we are. Customer Service first told me, «we have contacted your local store and they will call you and resolve said situation». They asked for my cell number so the store could call me, however, days later no follow up. So I tell papa Johns customer service this. They apologize and say «ok, we have escalated this matter and have notified the store owner, they will be in contact shortly». Yet again, nothing. Does this store owner truly care this little about customer service that neither he/​she or his/​her employees can’t take 30 seconds to call me and resolve this??? So disappointing, especially with the National campaign going at the moment, «100% customer service guaranteed». Obviously not, false advertisement or incompetent store. Maybe neither but they have yet to prove that to me at this point :(

This location never gets it right for me. I ordered with a 2 hour lead time. Only to sit while my pizza was 20 mins late, probably sitting on the shelf while 5 other people came and picked theirs up while I waited. Luke warm pizza is never that good, thanks PJ’s but I won’t be using this location anymore, even though it’s closest one to me.

This is our family spot for pizza. The pizza has always been great and we have never had any issues with service or product in the last 4 years.

I’m sorry to say this, but I am so disappointed with this Papa Johns. I ordered a Chicken Bacon Ranch pizza, two Garlic knots orders, and two 2-​ltrs of Dr. Pepper, only to have the pizza & knots overcooked, incorrect toppings on my pizza, soda forgotten, and delivered 1.5 hrs after I ordered!!! I tried to reach the manager, but was told he wasn’t in, and the message would be passed along.
NOTHING, not a single word.
I’d love my order to be correctly made, not forgotten, and delivered in a timely manner. Who knows, maybe the manager should go back to Customer Service 101.

This location is great! Here’s why.
Last night I ordered brownies for the heck of it, pop and The Works pizza which is basically a supreme. I ordered online and after 20 minutes of no email confirm, I called the shop and while I was on hold, the delivery guy rang my doorbell. Sweet! He was super shy but offered cheese and peppers, read the order to me and made sure everything was how I wanted it.
The pizza was the typical Papa John’s which is good. It was made correctly, steaming hot and tasted yummy for a delivery pizza. Pagliacci this isn’t but it does the job. The brownies were surprisingly good. They came in a 9×9 pan, sliced, and were still hot from the oven. They didn’t look that appetizing due to the fact they are premade at a pizza joint but of course, they aren’t going to be out of this world given the circumstances. And they were only $ 6!
I’ve had a bad experience with other locations due to being on time and having good pizza, but this one was great.
Two weeks ago, I ordered a large pepperoni pizza for delivery to two young ladies in my church who are unemployed. I promised them dinner. The delivery guy got to their apartment super fast and they weren’t there yet. He texted me and when I asked if he could wait for them, he said he could. They made it there in 10 minutes and the driver waited for them. That was awesome.
I ordered from this Papa John’s a few years back and never had problems with them then, either.
They are next to a 7 – 11 and in a seedy area but worth going to in person for a special which they seem to have going all the time. For example, you can get a large pepperoni for $ 7 right now if you pick it up. It is pick up or delivery only. Parking is shared with the 7 – 11 and it’s just a few spaces with teenagers hanging out and people trying to get in for gas so I’d fork over a few extra dollars for the delivery to save on the hassle.

I have ordered from them twice and both times the food was either flavorless or disgusting. I have had better quality frozen pizza and and I can make better chicken wings with my eyes closed. The service was okay but nothing special and overall just not worth a repeat trip

If I could give a zero I would. Have always wanted to try PJ… wow, I should have just kept waiting. The pizza was correct and they said it would take 45 – 55 minutes from when it was ordered. They were off by about 40 minutes and the driver must have gotten lost in the 2.7 miles from the shop to my home as the pizza arrived barely warm.
Going back to the PAPA’s I like – Papa Murphys.

These guys are awesome! The manager Kurt went above and beyond to make my pizza purchase happen. As always delicious pizza with great service. Recommended!!!

I love Papa John’s pizza but this particular location gave me a reason to be unsatisfied for the first time. The guy on the phone was new so okay but several times he had to put me on hold to ask questions to someone who had the answers to my questions, which were not difficult, first I wanted to know if they delivered to my location, then I ask their specials, then asked how much soda was, I never got an answer, instead I just got asked what kind I wanted after he put me on hold for 2 minutes to get an answer.
Then when my food arrived it looked okay but both were made completely wrong. I ordered chicken & pineapple with the garlic sauce. I received chicken on half and canadian bacon on the other half with pineapple. My 2^nd pizza was pineapple & olive with pepperoni on half. What I received was a canadian bacon with pepperoni.
To sum it up, the pizza is standard delicious but this location gave me an awful first impression, if they screw it up again maybe I will just go back to dominos.

I am still in shock over this one, it has to be a 1^st. I placed an order using the android app, received the confirmation email stating my order had been received and I would receive it in 30 – 40 mins. I waited and waited and finally after 90 mins and still no order I called and was informed my order was on its way but was offered no apology for its lateness or even a reason. 20 mins later the order arrives and the delivery driver apologizes and says he ran out of gas, let me repeat RAN OUT OF GAS. Dont get me wrong I feel sorry for the guy but shouldn’t it be a basic requirement that one has gas in their vehicle so they can make the delivers while the food is still hot? Ok he made the delivery even if he did walk but really???
It will be a LONG while before I order from Papa Johns again.

Went here last Friday and ordered Itailian 4 cheese 3 meat special for take out.
It tasted like cardboard. Never again! Pizza Pizaz will keep my business.

Pizza is always hot and they have really good carryout specials. I’m assuming they can do this because they are the only Papa Johns in the area. That is rampant speculation though, so who knows. I’ve never had delivery from this location, so I can’t really comment on that aspect of this franchise.

I have had pizza delivered from here on 3 separate occasions and I swear, each time gets worse I have never had a pizza delivered in under an hour and a half and it is always so cold that it doesn’t even look visually appealing. The customer service both in the store and with the delivery man is pitiful! Overall there is nothing positive to say for this branch of Papa John’s.
The first time it took 2.5 hours to get my pizza delivered when I was quoted 45 min… I am not exaggerating, dead serious. I ordered at 6:30 and my pizza did not get there until 3 minutes before 9pm. During this time frame I called multiple times, and all they had were excuses… First it was that they messed up the order and had to remake it but it would be there soon, second the driver had already left, then she didn’t know where he was or what could be taking so long, she even called me back to see if he had left yet because the next customer had called her. When I finally got my pizza it was so cold that I had to recook it in the oven but she did give me free pizza on the next order.
So I did it again for the free pizza, this time same thing, quoted 30 min wait turned into close to 2 hours, the driver was stoned out of his mind and didn’t even apologize for the delay, the pizza was horrible, nothing positive to say about this experience and free pizza turned into $ 20 after adding sides.
Why in a million years would I ever order from them again??? I am asking myself the same question. It was a Friday night, I was tired and had a house full of kids to take care of so as I was picking up the last child I stopped in planning to pick up a carry out order but the wait was going to be 45 min so I decided to place my order and have it delivered… my mistake… over an hour and a half later the same guy shows up… still stoned and the receipt is incorrect, I was charged almost $ 20 for a pizza that should have been $ 10. Should be easy enough to adjust right? Nope… driver didn’t offer to call or even apologize, I called in and was put on hold even after telling them why I was calling. It took almost 20 minutes to get resolved and get my correct total.
Needless to say… I will never order from this establishment again! I can’t believe I gave them as many chances as I did… siiiggghhh…

Always a good experience — I get Delivery at work. Always quick– hot– good pizza from this location. Good customer service and they are friendly.
