I was at the mall so I decided to grab a treat on the way out. The girl at the counter was very friendly, however, when she ran my card it took about ten minutes to get figured out. She said it wasn’t going through, so I asked her to just cancel the transaction and I’d give her cash. She agreed, I gave her the money, then I checked my account and there was a charge from BR on my card. I called my bank to get it straightened out and they said they couldn’t do anything about it. So I ended up paying twice. I don’t know if it was just a mistake or if that money didn’t make it to the till. Either way, I won’t be going back.

We stopped at this place after dinner; the guy who served us treated my kids very well, and was patiant with them. He was friendly, and treated them like they were the customers, and they are, so I love it when people treat them like they are important. When at this mall, we will be back again for sure…

I believe Baskin and Robbins makes better ice cream than Cold Stone but Cold Stone appears to be more customer caring. We were at this location and purchased 5 cones for the kids but I wanted a «banana royal» only I wanted one scoop. I asked if the second scoop could be put in a little cup, courteously cup, lid or something. The price is not the issue — I just didn’t want 2 scoops and was going to give one to the kids with me to share. As an accountant I understand controlling the sales by having to account for all cups but surly they could have some kind of cheap cup to split an ice cream in — and try asking for extra napkins — the look. What happened to the ice cream counters that were fun — OK — I am old but still.
