Food– 4 stars Service– 5 stars! I was in the area running errands on a Saturday afternoon and decided to pick up lunch. I was blown away by how great the food was! They have all the typical dishes(burritos, tacos, quesadillas, etc.) that you can customize with meats and toppings of your choice, but the taste and quality of the food was a step about Chipotle/CalTort/Moe’s. Ordered a carnitas burrito, chicken quesadilla and soup. The burrito was hefty, packed with fillings, but didn’t bust open while I was eating it. The chicken quesadilla was topped with crumbled cheese, lettuce and pico. Not one sad, brown piece of lettuce in sight! The soup was a tortilla style chicken soup, very tasty and obviously homemade. The woman who was working there was very friendly when she took my order over the phone. When I arrived a few minutes later, she packed my order, making sure that the food was still hot when she gave it to me. The inside of the place was small, about 3 or 4 tables for eating in, and it was CLEAN! Will definitely return here for tasty Mexican food!

This place is really spectacular! So far, we(my girlfriend and I) have had takeout three times, and each time, we have been thoroughly impressed. We get the burritos, and frankly, they’re amazing. Great ingredients, rich flavors, and a very fair portion make them some of the best burritos I’ve ever had. We will absolutely continue to order from here, and I’m sure we will«dine in» there too as they have an inviting and comfortable dining area. I’m much happier to go to Peppe’s than any of the chain faux-Mexican establishments in the area. Peppe’s has much better food and fresher ingredients. Their prices are fair, the food is prepared in a timely fashion, and the people working at the counter and on the phone are inviting and kind. In short, I think this is a great place, I look forward to eating there again(many times), and I hope other people take the time to try this wonderful food.

Food was good. I ordered tacos with shrimp & chicken, soup & flautas. The soup was really really hot that i burnt my tongue even after having it 10 mins later. Was traveling on the interstate & Unilocaled for a restaurant close by… It is little off the road, location wasn’t great P.S: the green spicy sauce was awesome

I think this place is great. I grew up in Kensington, and although I know there is a difference between Mexican food and Puerto Rican food, when I eat at Pepe’s, this feels more like home than any Chipotle grille or any other generic Spanish food. The queso fresco is awesome, and might just be made fresh there,(I don’t know for sure, I haven’t asked) and the ground beef they use for their tacos is the perfect balance between salty and spicy. I like a lot of the other Mexican places in our area, but I feel like a lot of them feel like adding chorizo to a dish makes it authentic Mexican food. Pepe’s doesn’t have bar drinks, or table side service but, if you are just looking for delicious Mexican food, they have what you need. Did I say you have to have their tres leches cake? I can’t believe I have to tell you that. Just get it.

Excellent fresh Mexican food! Chicken burrito and quesadilla were packed with food and taste! Fresh home made salsas — 4 of them! The atmosphere is extremely clean, nicely decorated and just a great place to eat! Service is excellent and the staff are smart — which is just a plus! The prices are really good. I’m impressed!

Gem! Great steak fajitas! My wife loves their steak quesadillas and shrimp quesadillas. BYO, friendly staff and atmosphere. Everything we’ve had tastes very fresh. I also love their mexican smokey red hot sauce(don’t know the actual name) but one of the staff members told me he makes it fresh daily.

In a small corner in the suburbs, you don’t expect to find a decent Mexican place, but here Peppe’s is! You walk in and it is like a Mexican taqueria married a Chipotle and they gave birth to Peppe’s. I was actually a bit apprehensive of what the flavor was going to be because of the assembly line behind the counter. But I really enjoyed my meal at Peppe’s, mostly because it was the best chicken quesadilla I have ever had! My husband loves quesadillas and I really can’t stand them because they just seem so basic to me. But here, they give you a great quesadilla, full and then load it on top with fresh lettuce, tomatoe and cheese. The presentation alone is worth ordering them. I had a check tostado that was equally as beautiful as it was delicious. My order was a bit small for the $ 7 it cost without chips or anything, but still good. I did wish the chicken was a bit more flavorful, and colorful, it was very pale. Overall, really enjoyed my meal. They also sell authentic Mexican sodas and have an array of hot sauces to choose from. Not good for large groups, but within the place you can seat 4 – 6 comfortably, as they have a few tables inside.

Love this place! I’ve tried it a few times and have tried something different each time. Last night I had a carnitas burrito and it was amazing. I love that they have refried beans as an option to put on your burrito. I did take out and when I got home about 15 minutes later, my burrito was still hot. I’m excited to try more things at Peppe’s soon! Just wish it was closer to my house.

Had an incredible craving for Mexican while visiting my friend & my, oh my! This place is AH-maaaaaazing. The best enchiladas I’ve ever had. It was delicious. I asked for the sauce to be very spicy and they NAILED it! As a lot of other people have mentioned, this place is suuuuper casual and chill. But the staff is super friendly & very helpful!

They use the traditional Mexican ingredients. Taste is very authentic. Best Mexican in the area. Everything made to custom order, and very friendly staff and customer service. Food portions are very filling. Best part is they always have some chips or snacks tray for tasting /munching while you are deciding your order.

Pepe needs to Close. It’s been way to long for such a place that sells fake Mexican food. Close Pepe, close.

Honestly baffling that this place gets 4⁄5 star reviews. Stopped by here and ordered a burrito to go, and by the time I got home 10 minutes later, it was cold. Really? This place is nothing more than a Chipotle knockoff, with the only difference being that Chipotle has more than 3 cars in their parking lot at all times. Huge, huge pass.

Great inexpensive Mexican food! Me and my girlfriend are new to the area and stopped in for Taco Tuesday which is half off your second taco order. The food had exceeded our expectations, the staff was nice and this place is only a 3 min walk from where we live. Can’t say even good things about this cute little restaurant!

Great inexpensive Mexican food. I typically order take-out, but I’ve stayed here for lunch a few times. The interior is very nice and the place is really clean. There are 4 – 5 tables available, but it’s not really a sit down restaurant. Everyone here is very friendly. It’s great to go to a place where the owner is typically on site. You can tell they put a lot of pride into their work. Highly recommended.

Wow, unexpected. We were going to go to On the Border at Neshaminy Mall before a movie but were intrigued by the great reviews here only 10 minutes away. The Mexican décor was quaint and classy not over the top and the staff was very friendly, even mixing me up my own horchata drink on the spot. The food we ordered: chips and salsa, chicken quesadilla, and shrimp burrito were large and most importantly seasoned well and fresh. The value received was excellent and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quick tasty meal close to the mall.

Wowee! This is just what I was looking for! Personally, I don’t like«American» Mexican food because it is greasy and loaded with calories. While In Ft. Collins, CO I got to experience fresh mexican cusine, which was to die for! I have been craving finding a place like that around here. And finally I did! I wanted to go out for cinco de mayo, and came across this family run business — and the menu sounded very much like what I had experienced in CO. We went there with two friends — the seating is limited! BUT they make everything to order, so it’s well worth it. I got their veggie burriot, which they let me customize, and my BF got their steak burrito. One friend got shrimp tacos, and the other got something with the green salsa, that she said was amazing! The price is right, and the portions are too. We also sampled their house made cantaloupe and mango juices — deelish! We also tried their homemade chips, which were very good. Our one friend loved it so much she and her BF(who was there also) went back for lunch with her mom a few weeks ago. I really can’t wait to go back!

My meal here was disappointing. When there was only one car in the parking lot at 12:30 pm, that should have been a clue. The prices are a bit high for a place where you order at the counter. I decided against chips & salsa, because that would have cost $ 2.50 extra. I ordered tortilla soup($ 4.25) and a fish taco($ 3). The small, plain fish taco came with no salsa. I wound up adding Green Tabasco from a bottle on the counter. Then it was reasonably tasty. The tortilla soup was utterly boring. The menu says it comes topped with guacamole and sour cream, but mine had no garnish. The shredded chicken and broth were meh.

Finally got around to trying this local restaurant. Had a steak burrito and a salad w chicken to go! Both were excellent and price is reasonable. This place seems to be primarily a takeout place, but they do have some tables /seating. I would probably rate it a 5 star. but since was my first time and we only had take out … well .I guess I am just a tough rater. Worth a try! I really had no complaints!

Stopped in here with my mom for a quick dinner when we noticed it was sort of on the way towards I-95. It was very clean inside, and you can see the food being cooked up fresh. I went with a shrimp burrito and a fish taco. I just wanted to try the fish taco because sometimes its super fried, but this one was lightly pan fried. It was really good, next time I would definitely get more fish tacos. The shrimp burrito was huge and also really good. My mom got a variety of enchiladas, and we really loved the sauce. We shared some chips and salsa and guacamole. The salsa was only ok, and the guac had a lot of lime in it, but it was like $ 3 so I’m not really complaining. I’ll definitely be going back when I’m up that way.
