If you eat in or do take out I love the food. Even if you get the fried its not greasy. Ordered the steam clams and all were great. I love the shrimp boat. Fish and chips are good, nice batter. My family love the fried chicken. I have had the broiled scallops and loved them. I have to admit Ido the takeout more than dining in, but when I have eaten in the dining room no complaints. Thirty years ago I was told if I wanted to get good food go to the Kopper Kettle, still holds true.

First time I’ve been inside. Used to get take-out beer here 20+ years ago(do the math). Interior is a total dive and I love it!!! Staff is fantastically friendly and the clientele memorable. I had the king crab legs at market price. More joints than legs but so much meat it was worth digging in and getting messy. Drink/shot prices are perfect.

I stopped by the Kettle for a few drinks on one occasion. I had driven by it so many times I just felt the need to check it out. The interior is a drab, outdated setting with a tight seating area and tables and chairs that have certainly seen their fair share of usage. The cheap lager drafts served from the moderate sized bar were a plus. The bartender was an older man, not extremely friendly or quick to serve off the bat, but once the first beer was served he did a good job of being attentive. The servers were friendly in conversation at the bar as they knew my girlfriend. The bathroom was certainly not spacious and to say the least presented a sub par appearance. I did not have anything to eat, but could smell the fryer oil from outside. I was surprised they started to close up shop close to 9, having a bar and all, but they do have take out below. Besides the less than stellar review I would go back to try out some food and indulge in some more brews.
