Okay, I hate writing terrible reviews about anything or anyone, but, in my 66 years on planet earth, I’ve never encountered quite this style of doing business. Like all businesses, Bucks County Carpet and Flooring invited me to contact them about their services and products. I reciprocally invited them to our home, where a young female salesperson, dressed more like a street walker than a business professional, presented us with some options for carpets. Bucks County Carpet and Flooring was the second of four companies we invited to give us an estimate. As it turns out, they were the least expensive of the four(by almost $ 1000) so we invited them back to commit to the transaction. The same salesperson returned dressed more scantily than the previous time, which set my wife and daughter off in the wrong direction. As a way of explaining how inappropriate this salesperson was, she accepted my check for a down payment, and fluidly inserted it into her bra as if she’d handled money in that fashion all of her life. It turns out that there was a temporary issue with the check, but it cleared the bank two days later, placing $ 2400 in their account. I was scheduled for installation, but then the sales girl called demanding additional signatures and cash, claiming the check didn’t clear. In reality, I had the cancelled check in my hand when she called. After a heated conversation, where in part, I reminded her that dressing as a street walker was not the proper dress for legitimate sales calls, we agreed to meet on the morning of the installation where I’d pay the remaining balance in cash. I’m writing this on the day of installation. Three people worked three days to gut our house and leave it empty for installation ease. When we call their business numbers on our hose phone, they don’t answer. When we call with a number they’re unfamiliar with, they answer, are taken by surprise, search for a lie to tell us, and then hang up. Our bottom line? Barring a miracle, we’ll have to suit them for our $ 2400 dollars, and get our carpet from another company. Will we get our $ 2400 back, or have they lost it at the casino’s? Time will tell. Your bottom line? Beware salespeople flaunting their breasts that have their pictures wearing fetish gear all over the Internet. Yeah, we should have done our research first.
