First time here and it was outstanding. I had the oxtail, collards, and Lima beans. They were all seasoned well and very hot. The service was very good. They created with a smile and were polite. This is the kind of meat and three I grew up with. I think I found my new lunch spot in Fayetteville.

Consistent good soul food with good customer service. I love ordering the strawberry shortcake every time. The collard greens are good, and I love the fact that there’s no pork in any of the vegetables.

This was amazing! If you are looking for home cooking that taste like grandma was in the kitchen and started at 5am prepping, this is the restaurant for you. The food is clean, the taste is authentic, the entire experience was satisfying!!! I am beyond impressed by the way I was able to eat and be satisfied and not have a food hangover. I was full and still kept taking bites because I knew it would be a while before I could enjoy the food again, but I spoke too soon. I am planning to visit Roas’s again this month even though its a 45 minute drive from work! trust me, its worth it!

Don’t get over Fayetteville way often. So when my wife and I were there today, we took the opportunity to finally try Rosa’s. And are we glad we did! I tried the Peruvian(white meat) chicken with broc/rice casserole and collards as my sides. The chicken was incredibly fresh(130 p.m.), tasty and super moist. Sides were equally tasty and fresh. My wife had the lasagna with cabbage and green beans. The portion size was huge and she loved it! Wife is a dessert person and it was all she could do to not try one. It didn’t stop her from ohhing and aahing at what they had and the fact that servings were also on the larger side. We will definitely be back. Already eyeing the beef stew(looked rich) and the wife wants to try seafood(cooked to order so it’s fresh) Actually, this is the only reason I stopped at four stars. You want fresh, flavorful food with a side of clean restaurant and pleasant service? Rosa’s is your place

I have been living in Fayetteville for a long time and did not know this restaurant existed until a customer at my workplace told me. I use to drive to Old National to Big Daddy’s just for country soul food. I have found my new place now and it’s just 5 minutes away! I have ate here 3 times already in one week. My favorite is the turkey wing with collard and Mac and cheese. The young gentlemen Justin is so friendly every time you enter the restaurant or taking orders over the phone. I read the portions are generous but I feel they are the same as any country restaurant you will go into. My husband loves the meatloaf but he felt he could have gotten more. The strawberry shortcake was to die for and very delicious. The staff overall is wonderful. I have told everyone in Fayetteville how good this restaurant is. Now my only problem is that I put back the 5 lbs I spent so hard taking off but the food is so addictive!

Have eaten here several times and the food is always good and the portions are huge. Got the Peruvian chicken, green beans and broccoli casserole. Chicken was very tasty and rice and broccoli casserole is very good, just too much cheese on top and the green beans are way overcooked as expected in the south! My friend loved the meatloaf and potatoes, she also had the cheesecake which she raved over! Keep up the good work Rosa’s!

Great food! Outstanding service! I eat at Rosa’s about once a week. I consider it one of the best restaurants in the area. Take it from me, you will not be disappointed.

Had this yesterday & all I can say is «where’s my blanket, it’s nap time». The food was absolutely amazing, even after being transported for 45 minutes. The fried chicken was super moist and flavorful and the banana pudding was great as well — this coming from a person that doesn’t really eat bananas. The food taste like some of my family members made it — great down home food that nourishes the soul. I don’t live near here but may make it my business to be in the Fayetteville area one day.

I pass Rosa’s everyday on my way home. I was not impressed with the exterior appearance of the restaurant. But having eaten at more than a few hole-in-wall joints with great food(Pit Boss BBQ comes to mind) I figured, why not? Ate there today and, well, the food was just not good. The interior of the restaurant was clean and much bigger than I imagined. You walk in to the serving line. I was greeted warmly and chose my items: chopped steak, mashed potatoes, green beans and corn bread. I ordered it to go. With a piece of cheese cake I was out the door for a little less than $ 11. Ten minutes later I was home and eating. If I had to use one word to describe the food it would be «institutional». You won’t go hungry and it won’t taste bad but there seems to be no effort to kick it up some. Without being too mean I’ve had better meals in the military. The«chopped» steak, upon further inspection did not look like it was chopped and formed on premises. It was in light brown gravy smothered in onions. It had some taste but not much. The mashed potatoes where serviceable in the way prepackaged mashed potatoes are. No gravy was added to them to help them out. The green beans where probably the worse item. Cooked with onion and potatoes, they definitely had that waxy straight-out-the-can taste. The corn bread was not light and airy. The cheese cake was good but when you can(or rather«could» as they have since stop selling it) get a decent piece of cheesecake at Chick-fil-a that’s not saying much. Again, I ate all of my food with the exception of the green beans. I was very hungry having not ate lunch. But had I not been famished I would have not finished the food. I usually give meat-and-three places like Rosa’s more than one chance. I chalk it up to «maybe the(insert-other-food-item here) would be better». But the lack of attention paid to something as simple as mashed potatoes tells me everything I need to know about this place. There are better choices in Fayetteville for meat-and-three. Pros: friendly service, low price, food is hot, clean. Cons: little to no flavor.

Went there yesterday thinking they were gonna be good due to the 5 star I’ve seen on here, but sadly it was quite the opposite. The mash potatoes are fake I could tell by looking at them so I got bbq chick with mac and cheese and sweet potato soufflé didn’t open till I got home. Well let me also state I wasn’t so sure about their sweet potato soufflé so I bought some from This Is It to compare and see who’s is better and let’s just say Rosa’s ended up in the trash. First off it was a Bright orange color and was bland in taste there was no type of spice or brown sugar in them whatsoever and the consistency was off, alittle to thin for my taste. The Mac and cheese was just ugh and the bbq chick was dry. Very clean inside I will give them that but as far as soul food goes this is sub-standard. If you want REAL soul food I would suggest you try one of the many This Is It restaurants because Rosa’s isn’t it.

Great food, very reasonable prices! I used a Groupon for my first visit but I became hooked afterwards! I am a weekly customer and sometimes come more when I have guests in town. The portions are huge and I can get 2 meals off one plate! I always tip because the employees are so Southern friendly. Try the fried chicken, ox tails, fried tilapia, turkey wings, shrimp or the meat loaf. You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu! Great kept secret in Fayetteville,!

Very good southern cooking. Mac n cheese and collard greens are off the hook.
