Pennink & Strother Property Management

These people are not doing what they are contracted to do. They «managed» my property for 4 years. I had 3 different managers and getting a hold of them was hell. They give you the most expensive quotes for repairs and then make you feel incompetent since you are not there and «don’t know». I came back to my home and it is a mess. I think they work in favor of the renter instead of the home owners. I have posted another review with pictures on their other listing. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! If you’re renting out your house, they let ANYONE view your home by themselves with just a $ 20 deposit!

I am not giving Strother any stars because they do not deserve any but You have to give at least one star to post the review. We have had nothing but problems from the beginning. We have had at least 4 different property managers in the 2 ½ years we have been with them, you call the office for information and they do not seem to have a clue or where to find the information you are asking for. Our house needed a repair and they did not use our home warranty and tried to charge us for the repair and when I complained and they ended up taking care of the charges but then charged me $ 300 to paint a water stain on the kitchen ceiling that was caused from that repair, that was funny to me since the repair was close to that cost. I called and asked for the renewed contract our tenants signed and they emailed me someone elses contract, I had all of that home owners and their tenants information. Now that we have found a new property manager at REMAX they are giving him problems getting our file from them. Strother should be avoided at all cost!!!

We had great service while we were looking at houses signed our lease and 2 days later our property manager quit and she said te company was terrible but she got her commission for us renting so she didn’t care that we had a whole year of DRAMA. A/​C went out numerous times took weeks for someone to finally get to it. septic tank busted and they would not fix it we had 3 small children an 2 dogs hazard may I say. The neighbors were complaining bc it was flooding everyone’s yard and the smell was bad it got so bad my neighbors called the agency and home owners. Spm never once stood up for us our even offered I put us In a hotel which by law is what was suppose to happen but NO we continued to pay rent. Winter comes around an we have no heat and didn’t the entire winter the continued to say they were sending someone out. now mind you that we wasn’t in a nasty house or the ghetto we were in a very nice subdivision and was paying $ 1150 a month. House was very nice but not very well taken care of. That isn’t all though we moved out 3 mnths ago and still haven’t received our deposit house was in perfect condition they were trying to get more money out I us because this company is TERRIBlLE they can’t even keep employees we ha 4 agents in the year we was there. Jag I now involved an I Hope they ant do this to any MILiTARY FAMILY again… I don’t usually do reviews but I called mrs. sthrother herself and she said she would take care of it and she didn’t and never returned my numerous calls I told her I would do this if nothing was done to help
