I wouldn’t stop here if traveling along I-95. This is my local Cracker Barrel and they got both of our orders wrong, our drinks were empty and couldn’t provide to go boxes without us getting up to ask someone for a box. It was a slow Saturday morning in the restaurant, I could only imagine what it would be like when it is busier.

This Cracker Barrel was right near our hotel and boy did that make me a happy camper. We were greeted by Alison, our waitress. She took our orders and then left. I ordered the Grandma’s breakfast platter which came with two pancakes, eggs, sausage and fried apples. Sharonda brought out our food and made sure we were okay, from refills to extra syrup and water, to anything else. Alison, our actual waitress only came back to the table once we were done with our food to see if we needed anything else and hand is the check. Alison did not a good tip. Sharonda did, as she wasn’t even our waitress and still went above and beyond for us. Our food was great… no complaints there.

Had dinner here after driving down from NYC on my way to Florida. I’ve been to a couple of Cracker Barrels in Florida and this is the first time at this one. It was a rainy night, so not too crowded when I got there. I was seated promptly, but my waitress was nowhere to be found. After awhile, the head waitress came over and asked if anyone had taken my order, I said no and she was very apologetic and took my beverage and food order. She came back and said she was making a fresh pot of coffee and It’ll just be a few minutes. She then found my waitress and passed my order to her and had her come over right away. I ordered the pot roast special along with a salad, potatoes and fried okra. Everything was nice and the fried okra was nice and crunchy and hot. It’s the best fried okra I’ve had at any of the Cracker Barrels I’ve been to. I also had their special dessert, hot apple dumplings. It was huge. It’s topped with ice cream and there was no way that I could finish even half. It was a bit too sweet for me, but even if it wasn’t it was just so big. This chain is a good value restaurant when you want a nice, simple, fast, hot meal. This particular one in Fayetteville is a little better than the others that I’ve been to and would recommend it to anyone stopping in Fayetteville.

Truly, a disappointment, the bread chicken breast, baked sweet potato and cornbread muffins overcooked, dry beyond brief. Almost as prepare earlier durning the day and allow to sit in oven until serve many hours later. However, the service was excellent and environment warm inviting. Will return for breakfast, hopefully breakfast will be better. Oh, this review was prepare for the cracker barrel located near Cross Creek Mall.

I stop by here at least once-twice a week to get my elderly father dinner to take to his house. The staff is always nice and the food is very, very consistent. Prices are reasonable for the amount of food you get. Please stop by and support this nice location.

Love the food. Hate the wait cuz I just walk around the gift shop and spend money I shouldn’t! LOL Just wish there was less noise. Cannot understand why the noise level in these places is so high! If everyone is eating it should be a quieter? But I love the menu sekections, always Southern style!

This location is nestled right off the highway, but it wasn’t overly crowded like most Cracker Barrels are. Staff were nice but not always timely. I ate here several times during my week stay and service was different every time. During the lunch checkout there was a little bit of a mess when everyone decided to checkout at the same time. Very long line that looped into the dinning room.

Great service, from our funny waitress Catherine, to the hostess, busperson, and ice tea filler upper. First time at CB. Ordered pecan crusted catfish — little sweet, ribs — good portion for lunch, buttermilk chicken with cheese grits, turnip green, biscuits with sawmill gravy. Very satisfying and reasonably priced!

Ahhh, the good ol’ Cracker Barrel; the best home cookin’ when you aren’t home and aren’t cookin’. On this particular visit, the family and I were on the way home from a week’s vacation in Florida and wanted a hearty meal to split up the drive home, so we were very happy to see a CB as we drove through NC. It was a Saturday, which pre-determined what we were going to order: Chicken & Rice! A delicious combination of roasted chicken tenderloins served over rice pilaf, covered in a creamy, mushroomy sauce + 2 sides. Our personal favorites with this particular entrée is kernel corn and green beans, but just about all of the sides here are good. There have been MANY occasions where we ventured out on a Saturday to Cracker Barrel JUST for Chicken & Rice; it’s really great. My daughter just LOVES their pancakes, so she opted for a late breakfast while Mom & Dad had dinner. That said, I really can’t blame her — the pancakes are awesome! They are more like griddlecakes than traditional pancakes — thick and hearty with slightly crispy edges; they are spectacular! The biscuits to start are always a welcome first course to the meal — don’t forget to ask for Apple Butter(it’s free, but it shouldn’t be)! My primary detractor from 5 Stars is the WIDE spectrum of service quality that you get from one location(or frankly, one shift) to another. Our particular server this time was pretty spacey — every time I asked for anything, be it a refill or an extra napkin, the poor kid just looked confused and needed a few moments to process what I just said.

Came here Saturday morning. No wait and food came out fast. Waitress was very nice and friendly. I had mamas French toast with scrambled eggs and turkey sausage. Good food and enjoyed my experience here.

Came here on a Tuesday night around 7pm and was seated immediately. We stopped in Fayetteville for the night on our way further south, and this Cracker Barrel was next door to our hotel. I’m on Weight Watchers and it’s a pleasure to see a number of healthy and low calorie items on the menu. We both ordered the pecan encrusted cat fish with orange marmalade(a relatively new item) and it was delicious! Fresh, moist and very flavorful. We had broccoli on the side which was cooked perfectly, not overcooked and soggy, and not undercooked and too crisp. Having just had a meal four days earlier at a popular(and much more expensive) restaurant in my home town, where I was completely disappointed by the flavorless and unappetizing main course, accompanied by overcooked and limp broccoli, it was a pleasure to come off the highway after a day in the car and sit down to something that tasted so good. Friendly service. An incorrect side dish was served to our table but was quickly corrected, and we were invited to keep the incorrect side and enjoy it.

I’ve eaten here twice with my boyfriend. He was so excited that this opened up we decided to go around 2pm on a Saturday thinking we would miss the lunch/dinner rush. Wrong. We need up waiting 30−35mins. Finally after we were sat it took another 8mins to get our drink order taken and another 10mins to receive the coffee juice and waters we got. Our food order came out correctly. My food was room temperature. It was meh, ok. My boyfriend however swallowed his down but probably cause he was starving. Our 2nd visit started off the same way. Our breakfast order was incorrect even after the waitress returned twice AND the third time with the manager to check the order. We did not order anything special so I was confused why she returned 3times. Our order came out at different times. Mine first. Then his shortly after and then the rest 10mins later. The bill took forever. Our waitress didn’t seem to know what she was doing. Due to poor or lack of training. She didn’t know the menu either. Sadly we would rather spend our money at Denny’s for breakfast and get better service down the road.

Just had lunch with family. They forgot my sons mashed potatoes and forgot my wife’s macaroni & cheese Mentioned it to server and said Mac & cheese would be about 10 minutes. Seemed like everyone was confused. Table right next to me was complaining how they messed up order. Finally brought Mac & cheese that wife took as to go order. Janiiece the store manager did not have much too say about when I brought this to her attention I would skip this exit for food and go to another that has better management and organization of kitchen staff

OK As previously stated I am not a fan of the«Cracker Barrel Style food» BUT having said that i wanted to go check out the decorations in the store area so in order to get out there I offered the husband some pancakes. We played out on the porch taking pictures in the rocking chairs, talked to some random people and shopped, then the table was ready! The waitress was nice but clueless. Later she admitted that it was her second night. Sadly it was my second time also so I wasn’t savvy enough to know what was the routine there. The meal was confusing, I was eating along when I realized the plate had 2 types of gravy on one plate. Is that normal for there??? YUCK anyway Let’s do this… Food= 2 stars… It looked like a plate of left overs thrown together at the last minute to accommodate an uninvited guest. Service =negative 1 star… they really should train these people or put them with a trainer the first few nights especially on a Saturday night. Shopping = 5 stars… and the game on the table is a nice touch. I even bought one that now sits on my dinning table for the bored people waiting on me to serve the meals LOL

I arrive for a Saturday Morning breakfast a little before 8 a.m. The first thing I encounter was a line of people waiting to be seated. I asked one of them if they had been put on the list for an available table, and they answered no. I had shades of the bad experience of the Wiilamsburg VA Cracker Barrel run through my head. Fortunately the inattentive person returned to do her job and all were seated quickly. Had a great server who did a great job of seating me, and taking my order quickly. The meal was there promptly. Ordered«Uncle Hershel’s Favorite» with chicken strips, hashbrown casserole, and grits with biscuits and gravy. It was all delicious. Nice experience.

45 minute wait on a Sunday afternoon didn’t deter us. Enjoyed checkers and the rockers on the patio while we waited. The food was Cracker Barreliscious!!! And the upsidedown pineapple cake was delish and totally big enough for two to share. In a word: YUM
