Absolutely everything in the shop is available as a single — supercool in its own right — but THEN… «Sweetheart, would you like me to pour that in glass for you, so you can drink it while you shop? » :) :) Why yes.. YES ma’am I would. .thank you! So cool! Yaaaaay for loose NC booze laws! This Texan is completely unaccustomed, and loving it! The clerk was *incredibly* sweet and helpful, making some fantastic beer recommendations based on what I was already buying. An unexpectedly great find in Fayetteville!

This was the first time I’ve ever been in here and it was awesome. I was like a kid in a candy store. They have a huge selection of both beer and wine. Apparently lunch time before a holiday is not the best time to go. He was answering questions and pouring samples with a packed house. I was very impressed at the way he took his time with each person that asked for help. I was very appreciative at the few moments he took with me and he was very knowledgeable of his wares. I will continue to patronize them and expand my beer palate.

On my list of wine stores this ranks towards the bottom. There is about a 60% markup as a minimum. Every thing I found here can be bought on base or within a 12 mile area. Store service was nice but the owner was not as knowledge as reported on Unilocal.Felt very let down as I though I would find some better quality wines for Thanksgiving. After a short conversation I knew that the knowledge came stright from the vendors. There is not a certified clerk here. I felt very misled. My wine cellar puts this place to shame. In all I will go to World Market or Trader Joes for the same wines at half the price or one of the other local Grocery chains. The store must be a local status thing. No Master Sommelier is here.

Exceptional service! I’m a wine infant and never know what to buy. Not only was I helped with loads of great info, I was offered samples to help me decide. I wish I were not just passing through Fayetteville. If I make my way here again I will definitely stop by.

First time here and it’s exactly the place I was looking for. Rotation of fantastic craft beers from around the world. Outstanding service and very knowledgable. And best of all mix and match six packs!

The staff is knowledgeable and respectful. They have free wine tastings daily and a wide selection. The owner is very nice. The are however about an average of 5 to 8 dollars overpriced on all wines. Even though they are overpriced this is the number one wine shop in Fayetteville when is comes to friendly and knowledgeable staff

Yes, if you’ve been ’round here before, it is a tad pricey. But then again, you don’t walk into a Porsche dealership demanding Ford Taurus prices. This is THE place to get unique and delicious beer and wine. Harris Teeter down the way may have a decent microbrew selection, but this place is a Garden of Eden for those desiring something a little more exotic. The best part of this shop is undoubtedly the owner, Sheree. Extremely knowledgeable and abundantly generous, she knows what she’s talking about, whether it’s beer or wine. Try to get that from a HT stock clerk. There are tasting in-shop that she holds, which highlight a variety of flavors and styles. There is even a tiny pub back there, which features some amazing drafts, an exciting departure for someone who doesn’t want/like/need a throng of people to constantly be around and thumping music. Forget America for a weekend… travel the World in a bottle!

Always go here during the holidays to get my favorite wine for my family meals. Most times when we walk in it is nice. Couple times the folks behind the counter get a little snobby when you don’t quit understand wine and beer as they do. Could take that as a teaching experience and share their knowledge with the customer rather than sharing their aggravation. All in all, I will be back for my favorite wine.

I really love this place. I’ve never been a beer drinker, but the variety is so vast, I can’t help coming back to see what else there is. The staff is really knowledgeable on the beers and such. This place is a must try.

Love the assortment of brews. $$$$$ WAYTOOMUCH $$$$$$$ The Thursday 20% off doesn’t do much for me, it took $ 5 off a $ 33 dollar bill for just three bottles of beer… Please lower the prices and you would have so much more business

Kind and knowledgeable staff. Good assortment of quality beers and wine, but let’s be real here, they are grossly over priced… Which is especially painful when you know what your buying. Although there are several beers and wines you can not purchase elsewhere, there are several you can purchase just down the road at Harris Teeter for anywhere from 20 to 60% less. I want to support them, but their mark-ups make that difficult. Also, can we talk about the elephant in the room here? Why does this place smell like cat pee? Every time I venture in. Cat pee. I swear. Cat. Pee.

Yes, they have an outstanding selection of beer but the prices are just outrageous. I was visiting from out of town and was pleased to find this place but when I noticed the prices were double and even triple the price I would pay back home for some of the same beers, it threw me off a bit. But, being the beer lover that I am, I bit the bullet and pay the extra price.

This place is in business to do one thing… provide crazy beers and wine that you can’t get anywhere else! They do not serve Bud, Miller, Coors products and I love that. If you support microbrews and local businesses than this is a must visit! The beer renaissance is back on in America and this is Fayetteville’s top spot to get involved. The wine is from all over the world. No w the cost is a little pricey because the costs associated with distributors and all that but it isn’t so bad at all for the quality. Thursday’s it pays to pay in cash as they will give you a discount

Beer selection and knowledge is great but the prices are crazy! I have gotten things they sell 50% cheaper from other stores but they have no competition in FayettNAM. So if you have to get something fast and don’t want to drive to Raleigh or order online then they probably have it but your gonna pay

For the selection and knowledge I want to rate higher, but their prices are criminal. They price the vueve yellow label around $ 30 more than normal. We went for the second recommended and that was $ 12.00 over. The Dom is $ 80 – 120 over what I’ve seen it listed for and they stock the 2004 vintage.

Found this place accidentally on the way to Harris Teeter. I didn’t look too much at the wine section, but the beer section was pretty good. Saw some obscure Belgian beers that I haven’t seen anywhere but Belgium. I’ll definitely be back.

So, I wandered in because I wanted to pick up some good beer to keep in the fridge at my hotel room. WOW! I was told at their downtown location that this was bigger, but WOW! The selection of local, international, and craft beers and wine brought a tear to my eye. This is not what I expected from Fayetteville. There seems to be a small contingent of shop owners in the area that are promoting more than the standard American«beers»(I’m looking at you Bud/Miller/Coors and the like). I went to the beer fridges(which encompass the back wall), and had no idea what to do. So many choices. It was like being the winner on Wheel of Fortune when you have to pick from this spinning platform of goodies(no, the fridges don’t spin, I think my head was though). The guy behind the counter saw me stalling and offered the option of building my own six-pack. They have empty four/six pack cartons that you can pick and choose your beers and build your own dream pack. HOORAY! He also let me know that the bar next door has the same owners and you can get the same beers there as the shop and that they run daily specials(why can’t you be within walking distance of me?). Needless to say, I like this place and will be back.
