Very expensive for what you get. My waitress was very rude and gave me the feeling that she didn’t want to help us. Not a place that I would recommend or ever go back.

This is my idea of a pub! Great food & beverages! Best fried fish, hush puppies and service. Beer was served perfectly. Next time I want excellent fried fish, I’m coming here!

A great place for a weekday lunch. I like the NY Strip steak for lunch and have done so over the years. Never had a bad experience and the steak sandwich seems to be the pride of the kitchen with a picture perfect presentation.

My husband and I used to frequent Pages quite a bit but stopped when prices just got too expensive. However my daughter’s school was having a fundraiser. Right off the bat our server was curt, short with us and darn near rude! Not impressed on their meager kids menu and this was a school fundraiser! My daughter and I were going to split a French dip, an expensive sandwich and we got charged an extra two dollar sharing fee. Not to mention that part of my roast beef was raw!!! When we called the manager over he took the plate and did not apologize or remedy the situation. He also did not seem to care that he had a rude server. We love to support downtown businesses but we will not be back.

Warm cozy feeling sitting in the booth section. Started off by ordering the tri-colored chips n salsa. The chips were dipped in the hot fry oil that made them taste like fry oil. Ordered the Palermo calzone and full slab of ribs, planned on taking half of each meal home. Food arrived timely and our waitress was attentive. Stromboli sauce was warm that was good. Bread basket was served and bread was tasty but butter was hard as a rock and cold and couldn’t spread it. So, cut into the ribs the meat fell off the bone. First bite of the ribs the were tasty as I ate the backside of the ribs, they had a ½ inch layer of pesto smeared on them that was so overpowering it made them inedible very sad because they were so tender. We couldn’t eat them. We finished off the Stromboli and the waitress returned and we told her about the ribs and she took them off the bill. I will come back but I will stick with a burger.

Gia Warner & her dad were very good. The pizza did not come with the ingredients we ordered. Also, wasn’t cooked all the way, and wasn’t hot. The onions & sausage on the pizza were very good. Service ok… never refilled water glasses. Hopefully if we go to see Gia, the food will be better.

Wife and I along with our two children went there tonight. We were pleased with the draft beer selections. Wife and I ordered an appetizer that was no better than Meijers sandwich meat and canned olives put on a water stained plate. I ordered the Elk Burger special. The meat itself was OK, tasted well. But the bun was soaked in grill grease, the bacon was soggy, dripping with grease and the cheese was only on ½ of the meat as the rest was grilled off. The chips were cool and soaked in fryer oil. The sandwich my wife ordered appeared to have store bought cooked frozen shrimp that was re-cooked. My son’s fajita dinner came with canned re-fried beans and packaged Spanish rice, there was very little steak. My young daughter ordered the chicken fingers and well, chicken fingers are chicken fingers. Over $ 80.00 for meals that non of us finished, non of us were close to finishing the meals. Our server was kind and polite, but no server anywhere ever anymore asks«none of you ate a thing, why?» So we just paid, finished out drinks and left. We’ll be hard pressed to come back here.

Would give half star if possible. Went multiple times to give it another try and disappointed. Every dish ordered was awful.

Page’s was probably 3.5 stars. Nothing blew us away but it wasn’t bad either. It’s a good place if you and your dinner company are craving different things as they have a pretty wide array of types of cuisine(American, Mexican, Italian, pizza). Overall I would probably come back but it’s probably not a place that I’ll be craving.

We frequent Page’s rather often(and we’re younger: 29 and 31)– and here’s some things you need to understand about the place: 1. It’s an old-school bar and sorta dive-y(but we think that’s part of its charm). Get over the décor. If you can’t get past it, this place isn’t for you anyway. 2. If you want an authentic«Page’s» experience, sit at the bar and ONLY at the bar(sorry, servers, but it’s true). 3. The food is usually pretty great — we can vouch for their burgers, pizza, salads, and fish ‘n’ chips. 4. If you’re not an asshole, people are nice in return. Oftentimes we’ll ask the bartenders to turn on a hockey game or turn up the volume, and they don’t so much as blink. The problems with Page’s? It can be wildly inconsistent. Some nights, the food is REALLY good, and some nights, it’s mostly«meh.»(Which sucks, because we constantly recommend this place to friends who can appreciate a bar like this.) Some nights the place is open as advertised, and some nights it closes several hours early. More consistency, please! Don’t make us look dumb in front of our friends. :) The other problem? Page’s has a GIANT screen up front which COULD be used to their advantage for sports-watching. Instead, there’s a table right up against it, and it’s used for servers to hang out at, wrap silverware, and otherwise stand around. And you know what? No one wants an up-close-and-personal look at server sidework blocking arguably the best TV in the place. Please move your staff! It ruins the atmosphere and patrons feel uncomfortable and in the way, when in fact it is the other way around(meaning the staff and thus management should feel uncomfortable for being in the way and making us watch them roll silverware and drink out of styrofoam cups all night). If these things could be addressed, I can guarantee people would change their mind about Page’s.

Not bad, very busy on a Friday night but service was good as well as company. Typical bar food. Live music is decent.

Actually worse than cowly’s. The décor has been compared to a strip club with a wall of mirrors in a dimly lit room with 70’s swivel low rider chairs

A friend and I sat up at the bar, had some fantastic martinis and the seafood bruschetta. It was a fantastic night to start bar hopping!

My wife and I went to have salad and a pizza. We split a Greek salad. While I was eating my salad, I found a dime at the bottom of my plate. My wife and I were so disgusted, we told the manager and left the establishment. We will never go back to Pages again!

When I first arrived, I came in through the rear. I thought I smelled the food from the kitchen, only to realize it was the smell from the bathrooms. Urinal cakes have that special bakery smell. I guess that’s why they call them cakes. The lighting is low to keep from seeing the 20 year old stained carpet and chair upholstery. Sitting at the bar, I was impressed with the wildlife which surrounded me. No, not the beef and chicken, but the bar flies. Thirdly, they have reduced their menu which makes it even worse. The food is classic bad bar food. I have no idea how this place can compete with BBB or Cowley’s, except that maybe the old folk cant get down the steps at BBB, or up the steps at Cowleys. Hopefully it will close soon and something better replace it.

Stay away! This place has been going down hill for last few years. The menu probably has a third of the items crossed out. Atmosphere is so so. We swore off this place a year or so ago but heard they remodeled and decided to give it another try… What a mistake. It looks like they got new chairs and flickering candles but that’s about it as far as we could see. They were out of 4 of the 6 features for the night by 8pm. We ordered one of the remaining items to find out that was also not available. Unfortunately, I bet they will close their doors soon.

For those of you whom are not regulars at Page’s… let me give you the low down: Monday’s are half-off. Wednesday is PRIMERIBWEDNESDAY. Yes, there are advertisements in the papers — but I’m almost 100% positive it says WEDNESDAY on it. It’s a special run for $ 7.95 plus purchase of a beverage. Thursday is Mexcian night. They run specials on Coronas and Margaritas as well. Friday is fish, as well as the start to Steak Out Weekends. Saturday and Sunday currently because it’s the summer is Backyard BBQ. Tuesday’s are Asian specials, and currently during the Tiger’s season you get triple rewards and a chance to win Tiger Den tickets.

It’s got potential. The food is always good and the burgers make me very happy, but the pop is flat for my liking. The complaint for me is that the service is really slow and for lunch rush I would think the waitstaff would be a lot more attentive. They were too busy sitting at the bar chatting and this is not the first time this has happened. The food does seem to take a long time to come out, but like I said, it’s always good. Atmosphere is questionable. It’s clear that the retired locals love this place. No shame in that. The bartender knows the names of her customers, but just like the soda, her personality falls flat. I just don’t feel that they cater to a faster paced crowd perhaps.

«Eek! Methinks not», sums it up. I live and work in Farmington/Farmington Hills, and I was really hoping this would be a good place to eat and have a few drinks. There are so few restaurants in the area, but unfortunately, Page’s is not worth visiting. We decided to try it because of a 20% off coupon that came with a local newspaper. The«20% Comp» was not worth it! I stopped in a few weeks ago for dinner with a friend. The interior and décor were okay, the seats were comfortable, and I don’t mind TVs(it is supposed to be a bar, after-all), but the food wasn’t good, the service was slow, and everything was very over priced. We had the chips & salsa appetizer, and the chips were way too salty, and the salsa was bland. Our pizza wasn’t very tasty, either, but I would have been more forgiving in my review if the the overall experience at Page’s wasn’t ruined by the INCREDIBLYOVERPRICED drinks that we had. We came in on Mexican night, and a sign advertised that house margaritas were $ 2 off. I have worked in bars, and have had my share of margaritas in my day, and if you would have told me that this nothing-special-restaurant normally charged $ 9.75 for a house margarita, I wouldn’t have believed you — but, sadly, it’s true! That is ridiculous for a house drink. When we got the check and I realized how expensive the drinks were I was astounded and asked our waitress. Her solution was to offer us a frequent visitor card that collects points to use toward future purchases after you’ve spent a certain amount of money. Why should I need to drop $ 100 in this place to get $ 10 off the next visit? Why can’t they simply provide great food for good value? I am a member of some other restaurants rewards programs(Max & Erma’s, for example), and not only do you get what you pay for, they offer special treats each month. It doesn’t feel like a chore to earn rewards at Max & Erma’s. I got the impression that this was a family run type place(the staff weren’t very good at their jobs, and there were teenagers wandering around doing random things), and that the only reason Page’s is able to stay in business is because they charge the few regulars that they have an arm & a leg. The crowd for dinner was definitely older, so maybe Page’s has become complacent with their efforts to make flavorful food at reasonable prices. Please, please, please — do yourself a favor, and if you are thinking of eating here, go down the road to John Cowley instead. The food is priced similarly, and at John Cowley’s you’ll get great flavor, creative dishes, and reasonably priced alcoholic beverages.
