Great beer selection, happy hour and fun atmosphere. The burgers, pretzel dip and wings are particularly good!

Good ambiance but atrocious service. They aren’t rude, they just act like you don’t even exist. The staff is incredibly confused. They kept bringinf us the wrong meals. They also kept ignoring us when we tried to get their attention, almost seemed on purpose. One of us didn’t even get his food he ordered until he spoke up about it an hour later. It took them 20 minutes every time I wanted another bottle of beer. The manager, to her credit, gave him his beer for free and offered to get him food immediately as reparation. We turned down the food, but took the free beer. It’s a shame cuz this place has potential to be a great spot, they just need to work on customer service badly. Get some good servers and you’ll be all set. Chicken tasted good :)

Really great place. This was my first time here and it was a great experience. The place was full on a Saturday night, but we still were seated right away. Great selection of beers and drinks and very reasonably priced. I had the Peanut Butter Sriracha Bacon Burger and it was amazing. Great combo of flavors. Everyone was happy with their meals. I’ll definitely be back. The only reason for the 4 stars was my actual burger was overcooked. I asked for medium and it came out well done. Not a huge deal, but still would have preferred it correct. Still delicious.

I’ve been to Craft Breww about a dozen times since they’ve opened and I have definitely noticed a vast improvement with the service. They have a great draft and bottle selection. The food is very good. They have excellent wings, pizza and taco platters. My only complaint is when you come in for happy hour they don’t ring in the discounts until you’re ready to cash out so you really need to pay attention that you are charged accordingly.

It was spot on «average». The service was solid. The beers were not as cold as they should be and there were a few on the menu that were not even on tap — which ruins the experience. The food was ok — fries were soggy and you could tell they dumped em on the plate from a bulk fry. Never had a manager ask how things were either and that parking lot is horrible(but that is not the restaurants fault as it’s in a plaza). Probably will not return.

I am writing this review because I was a early visitor, when they first opened. I was disappointed because it seemed very disorganized, food was mediocre, service was underwhelming. I’ve since been back two times. It is a very well run bar /eatery now. The staff is attentive and knowlegable on the beer selection. The calamari and the pretzel appetizer are delicious. The atmosphere is open, chic and the staff in both visits were very professional and more importantly… friendly and engaged …. However, things just went south. A manager came up within ear shot and discontinued the taco special. I didn’t want tacos but I also do not like hearing directives when I am a patron. So of course I ordered the taco special… denied. Then the server told me I was being aggressive. Zara. was the server. The manager that turns the specials on an off is Vivi. I won’t be back. Apparently they lie when asked what their names are. The bill says Jesika. Stand up place.

CBC has a great happy hour, every day now! The food has been ok, but I typically now only come for the beer selection.

I attended a friend’s surprise party. There were many guests and naturally I expected the service and food to take forever. However, the food came out right after we ordered and the wait staff were top-notch. I ordered the flat bread pizza and thought it was very delicious.

Craft Breww City has never disappointed me. All the employees are great and have a positive attitude. My friends and I love coming here to grab a drink and play some pool. I like the fact that they have a lounging area with couches, it makes everything even more comfortable.

Unilocal describes the 2 star rating as «Meh. I’ve experienced better» and that is exactly the feeling I had after eating here. Just kinda… meh. Other reviews seemed pretty mixed overall so my husband and I decided to give it a try. After reading the menu, there wasn’t really anything that stuck out to me so I decided to go with the slider appetizer as my meal. For our actual appetizer, we tried the fried shrimp which was… interesting to say the least. The breading was extremely salty, and the actual shrimp themselves had a really rubbery texture. I got the impression that the shrimp must be pre cooked and then frozen, causing them to be overdone with the deep frying. And the sauce was confusing. It was a kind of pickly, mustardy, tangy, weirdy, type of thing. Not my favorite at all. Beginning our meal this way didn’t really give me high hopes for the rest of it. My sliders were good. They came out more well done than I normally liked, but were surprisingly juicy considering the appearance. My husband had the buffalo mac and cheese, which was basically cavatappi pasta, sauce, cheese and a buffalo chicken topper. We found his to be quite interesting as well. The sauce was pretty soupy for a standard mac and cheese — usually when I think mac and cheese I think hearty«stick to your ribs» type stuff. Overall, he appeared to be pleased with his meal. Our waitress was just a little awkward and she seemed to disappear shortly after bringing our meals. She didn’t seem all that excited to be there, but hey, we all have our days I suppose. It wasn’t the worst experience I’ve had, but there also wasn’t enough to get me back through the door. I’d be willing to try again, but it’s not at the top of my list.

I’m spoiled by having lived near One Eyed Betty’s, Ale Mary’s, and Clubhouse BFD. Now we’ve moved over to the west side and this is one of our beer bar options. It’s not bad, it’s not awesome, just average. My husband had a burger and I had fish tacos(that were half off). We each had a flight of beers. I wasn’t wowed by any of it and didn’t feel I got my money’s worth. We’ll probably be back because there aren’t a ton of other comparable options nearby and hopefully I’ll feel differently on the next go ’round.

Attended a family gathering at Craft Breww City(Yes, Breww is not misspelled). I was quite impressed with their beer selection — over 40 beers on tap and about another 100 bottled beers available. That’s way too many to try at just one evening sitting, but I started. The food menu starts with a nice selection of appetizers, soups, and salads and is followed by pub grub(hot dogs, hamburgers, sandwiches, mac ‘n cheese). In addition, there are a number of entrees, taco platters, pizza and sides. The various foods we ordered and shared were very good. For my dinner, I had the fish sandwich which included two good size pieces of deep-fried, battered fish on a pretzel bun. It was very good — the bun was nice and the fish was hot, tender and moist. I recommend Craft Breww City if you’re interested in a great selection of beers and some good food.

I don’t get on this side of town very often anymore, even though it’s not that far. I had heard about this place but didn’t realize that it’s in the old Roosevelt’s location! It’s a nice place! It’s definitely a sports bar. Lots of big screens, and open space. They have plenty of seating and a couch area. I had the Peanut Butter, Bacon and Sriracha burger. The waitress said it was their most popular item and I can see why. It was pretty messy, but it was really good! I never thought I’d enjoy PB on a burger, but I do! The fries were well seasoned too. The beer list is pretty good. I fully admit to being a beer snob and hard to impress nowadays. There weren’t too many beers that I haven’t tried. However, I realize they had a really good variety overall. I don’t know if they get anything special, but it’s a good spot if you’re in the area for quality craft beer.

As the name suggests this is a microbrew headquarters. Many many micro/craft brews on tap and in bottle. I’m not a huge beer drinker but if you are this place is for you. The menu is large however the burger I had(pretzel burger) was very dry and the cherry sauce on it didn’t have a lot of flavor. The server was attentive and seemed knowledgable about the beer list. The parking situation outside is a disaster. With the restaurant being in a strip mall there is already a problem with parking but with a place this size the parking lot is packed. I was forced to leave to park 3 rows over from the main entrance-and I wasn’t even there at a peak time. Thursday evening around 5pm. Overall it was ok, but I wouldn’t rush back.

I never got around to writing a review after my first visit, but since then, I’ve been back here 4 or 5 times. Each visit has been consistent(in terms of quality) with my first visit. They have a pretty extensive craft beer list– you’re bound to find something you’ll like, or something new to try. They have a nice selection of seasonal drinks available as well. Some servers are a little more knowledgable about their drinks than others, but heck, it’s a long list! I haven’t interacted with any of the bartenders one-on-one, since my visits have always been with a group and included food. The staff have always been friendly, and have always made sure that we were comfortable, and had everything that we needed. Most of them have been able to provide us with some insight, and provide suggestions on their newer beers and seasonal beers. The food is pretty good– much better than I was expecting. I’ve had several of their burgers and sandwiches, and I can’t say that I’ve been disappointed once. Their fries and their tots are simply delicious! The only thing that annoys me a little bit about this place is the awkward high top seating(why are all of the tables meant for 6 people? Why aren’t there any tables for 2?) and how loud this place gets on a busy night. There are days and times where you can’t even hear the person next to you because it’s so loud. Overall, this isn’t a bad place to catch a game, grab a few brews and get some grub with a few friends. I’ll be back.

I really wanted to like this place but the food didn’t quite live up to my expectations. The wait to get a table was pretty short, they seated us in the old folks section where it’s not as loud as near the bar which was perfect. They have a nice selection of brews but sadly I didn’t drink any beer. I ended up going with their grilled fish tacos. The tacos was decent, the fish lacked flavor though. It also came with a small salad, guacamole and beans. The beans didn’t quite go together. I’m not sure what I would like with it but the ingredients didn’t quite go together. I didn’t expect it to be as good as the fish tacos are out west but I hoped it would go together a little better. The service was a little slow, we had to wait quite a while for condiments and refills but they got busy after we got there.

For starters the service was great! Given the place wasn’t jam packed, I really enjoyed our waiter and he was incredibly knowledgable and friendly. Now the food. I came during taco Tuesday with some girlfriends for margaritas and tacos. The interior of the space is dimly lit with a large centrally located bar, TV’s suspended from the ceiling facing every which way, and two pool tables. As fun as the interior was, we opted to sit outside(because it’s Michigan and if it’s not snowing or raining I HAVETO be outside) We ordered a few beers, one if my friends had a margarita, and by default ordered tacos because otherwise it would just be another Tuesday. We started with the pretzel bread with cheddar ale sauce and chips and guacamole. The pretzel bread while somewhat shiny on the outside(probably brushed with butter or oil) had a good consistency but lacked the density of a really good hearty pretzel. The cheddar ale sauce had either been sitting around too long or wasn’t prepared correctly. It had a grainy consistency and didn’t taste far off from a cheap block of velveeta mixed in with Kroger pepper jack and a touch of powdered Mac n Cheese packet. That said, I turned to the chips and guacamole platter only to be disappointed by it’s lack of flavor and it’s somewhat browning color. They obviously made this earlier in the day and passed it off as fresh. They of course added another container of the grainy cheese sauce just in case we couldn’t get enough of it. I optimistically ordered the fish tacos, one fried and the other grilled. While the food came out quite quickly and everything was nice and hot, I can’t say my main entrée didn’t continue on the mediocre streak. Fish was good, just chewy? The fried one was good and the batter had a slight curry flavor that I did like but once agin my fish was chewy. Beans were good(but it’s hard to screw that up) coleslaw was a bit overdressed and over powered the flavor of everything else, and to top It off the salsa tasted like it came out of a jar. It actually tasted like Pace salsa. Overall I would never recommend this place for food unless you’re 5 beers in and you just need sustenance. On the upside, the beer selection is really good, lots of beer on tap, and the waiter had great recommendations. Too bad my review is just on food, otherwise they would be getting 5 stars for beer!

First off, SO glad this type of restaurant came to the area. I’ve been a few times now with differing experiences. All while reading the reviews that range from excellent to horrendous for this new establishment. Most of the blunders I’ve encountered I could chalk up to inexperience. Not because it’s a new place, but some of the folks seem to not have much experience waiting tables, hostessing, etc… Discussing the food and drinks alone, best in the area, you must try it. But don’t expect 5-star service. The shuffleboard is BRANDNEW and cheap to play. You may find me there next time you go. There’s pool as well which I rarely see people on. When I went with my family, we were put in the back room sort of cut off from the crowd; EXACTLY what we like when a 3 yr old won’t stay in his seat and a 1 year old is learning not to throw the food :-) Good call Craft Breww City! Some good reviews, some bad, but in the end, you have to visit this place. The prices are on the middle to upper end, but I see that as an insurance policy against the«wasted guy» that hangs out for $ 2 — 16 oz beers. Enjoy the variety! Hope to see you there. Cheers!
