WILLNEVEREVERRETURN! Service each and every time is absolutely horrible. The last two times I was there, it took over 30 minutes(no exaggeration) to get our food. We ordered BREAKFAST and there was only two other tables besides ours. We spoke to the manager and he said the waiter forgot to put in our order… I think he gave us 10 or 15% off of the bill. On another occasion, they might have been short on staff, but the food took forever(as always) and the waiter came to the table with his face dripping in sweat. It was absolutely disgusting. WILLNEVERRETURN!!!

Either they closed for good, or they didn’t pay their sign-man… My guess is they closed.

Good for breakfast and staple americana foods. Do not order the gyro it is topped with what tastes like ranch chip dip.

Not good. Staff unhygienic. Scratching hair, touching themselves, touching business end of cutlery. Food tasted of the refrigerator. Slow to refill coffee they left our dirty dishes all around and then came and put the dirty bus tub on the table and menus to let us know it was closing time. Cross contamination much? All the lights were turned out in parking lot upon exiting, we had to help an elderly couple to their car. Very disappointing.

Really do I need to review a Ram’s Horn or Coney for any of you. My buddy Nik and his wife Susan grew up out here. For some reason she absolutely refused to eat @ diners, I thought it was the weirdest thing until I moved. There are a lot of bad diners, but this is a decent one. It does what it’s supposed to do @ 3 a.m. in the morning…(Meh)

It’s a Ram’s Horn. But it’s definitely good enough for me to get on Unilocal and shout something about it. Best service and food… I’ve ever received at a Ram’s Horn. I hate RH Southfield, and I won’t ever return to RH on Grandriver. But this place will make a good regular stop when I’m too lazy to make my eggs.

Having reported that the previous incarnation closed I am actually excited to write a review for this restaurant’s present state. This is probably the fanciest Ram’s Horn in which I have ever eaten. I suppose that is what happens with restaurants set up in found spaces. The décor was beyond typical diner/family restaurant including vibrant carpet, lots of plants, and a bar without alcohol. One night after work my coworkers/friends and I set out to experience this new quick-eats option. I believe it was a Wednesday, and yes, that is relevant because adding a slice of pie to your meal was a dollar or something really cheap. I ended up ordering a standard choice for me: vegetable omelet with French fries instead of hash-browns, and wheat toast. The vegetables included carrots, zucchini, mushroom, onion, etc. which may have started frozen but regardless, it was good. Wait, now that I think about it, I had a pancake instead of hash-browns or French fries – I had really wanted blueberry pancakes but learned they don’t do an internal blueberry, they just use the sauce on top. I now recall the pancake being average but still good. The lemon meringue pie I had was great! And a perfect way to end a meal. My criticisms are as follows: they had Kraft instead of Smucker’s Jam/Jelly.(I know they’re close, but it’s like Hunt’s vs. Heinz ketchup – there’s no comparison!) The pancake was kind of light and airy.(I think I prefer a more dense pancake). I guess if those are my grievances they’re not too extreme. I would return to the Ram’s Horn and am actually curious how long they will last? The location is kind of hit-or-miss it appears. From the amount of cars in the parking lot they seem to be doing well. I bet it’s the fancy carpeting.. . This location is not open 24 hours but thy are open early.
