This is a great redken salon! My hair was dry damaged and falling out. I have a standing monthly appointment and the investment has paid of. My hair looks healthy, lush and the color is perfect. Molly manages her time really well. I am never asked to wait for her. They carry a ton of great products and at times will provide samples. everyone here is friendly and down to earth.

Amazing. Callyn was wonderful. At other places to do my highlights I got a 125, 175, 200! But callyn did em for $ 78! & the job is beautiful and professional. I am new in town until Mid August and needed a change. I am extremely happy with my hair and I’m going back for a touch up and blowout before I leave town!

I was on the hunt for a Redken salon in the area since my hairstylist was out on maternity leave. I ran across Chroma and I went twice in the last three months or so. The salon itself is nice, very modern and airy. It’s pretty easy to get an appointment and their website is nice. The first time I had my color retouched only. I arrived and they receptionist told me to have a seat, when my stylist gets to the salon, she’ll come get me. I was cringing a bit because it’s less than five minutes until my appointment time and the stylist isn’t there? Overall, my experience with the receptionist has been she could stand more training and bit cheerier attitude. She makes it seem like you are an annoyance to her or something. Anyway, the stylist came to get me on time. She was nice but smelled like cigarettes which is a bit of a turn off for me. I gave her my exact color formula from my old stylist and she did follow it, though I think she put in a bit too much peroxide because both times, I got sores on my scalp. That does not happen with my regular formula. I think maybe she put in more peroxide in an attempt to rush through my processing because normally it takes longer to process. The second time I got my haircut and she did a subpar job. I ended up trimming my own hair at the ends a few times because there were straggly hairs. It wasn’t a fancy cut either, just a trim. As for the pricing, I can’t figure it out. The website lists a starting price, like 50+ for a retouch. The first time I got only a retouch and I paid around $ 85. The second time, I got a retouch and a trim for $ 105. The stylist said something to the effect, «65 for the color retouch and 40 for the haircut» to the receptionist. So how come I paid around $ 85 the first time? I actually thought about going to a different salon because I think $ 85 is a bit steep for a retouch only. But the color came out right so I didn’t want to gamble. Plus $ 40 for a trim is pretty steep too. I’m going back to my regular stylist now but even if I wasn’t, I don’t think I’d come back.

I have coming to Lori and Chroma for a couple of years and have always enjoyed the experience. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly and they do an excellent job with my hair. I’m very particular about my hair and gladly entrust it to the folks at Chroma.

I’ve been seeing Lori from when she was at Ron Daniels then at Moda and now she owns Chroma. Awesome color and haircuts and all the girls are super friendly!
