We misplaced the keys to our car a few days ago and spent over an hour looking for them to no avail. It was a Sunday evening around 5pm and I was concerned we weren’t going to be able to find someone since it was the only set of keys we had for the car. I went to Unilocal and found B&B in nearby Farmingdale, I got Rory on the phone and he not only offered me a very reasonable price to open the car but was able to cut a key for it right there in his truck. After opening the car, cutting the key, signing the paperwork and paying him we were on our way. It was a very positive experience and I would recommend B&B to anyone either in a similar situation or in need of keys. This guy is a perfectionist and would not leave until everything was working and we were good to go.

This review is about B&B lock Technicians in Farmingdale. I would never do business with this place again. They are rude. I called several times and they never answered their phone during working hours. I just bought a house and wanted to get the locks changed so I called them and since I have an out of state area code they do not answer the phone. I have never heard of a business who checks their caller ID before they answer the phone. If they do this they must have bill collectors calling them, that is the only reason to screen your calls. When I finally got a hold of them and told them that I have been trying to call them and they never answered the phone during working hours as posted on their website. The man was rude on the phone and never said he was sorry or anything. This was a turn off and why would I or anyone want to do busness with someone who doesn’t answer their phone. I have never heard of a thing. The man was very rude on the phone and was short with me. There are other locksmiths in the area, I would never do business with this company. They need to learn new customer service skills and how to answer a phone… Janet Harper
