Nova Uniforms

Very small selection. Owner was friendly but a bit pushy/​in-​your-​face while perusing.

Went in here after going to Gallo’s and was impressed! Gallo’s had no plus sized scrubs but NOVA U had such a wide variety! I needed new scrubs for work the next day and the salesman was happy to help me. He even let me purchase a scrub top and a scrub bottom from two different paired sets and gave me a 10% discount for signing up for their membership club! Fantastic place and will be back soon!

I’m really surprised that everyone gave this place one star. After reading the reviews, I was not looking forward to my visit. I had no other choice because Nova Uniforms is the uniform vendor for my nursing school. As soon as I stepped in, I said «Hello» to the lady who was organizing something at the front. She kindly greeted me and told me to let her know if I needed any help. She was very nice and told me about the discounts and options they offered for students at my school.
The embroidery I had ordered was done and ready for pick up the very next day.
Yeah, they don’t have the largest selection and I probably wouldn’t shop here if I was looking for scrubs. There are larger chain stores around the area that I could go to.
BUT they had exactly what I needed for nursing school and the workers I met were very nice and polite.

I went in to buy a pair of scrubs for my first day at work. I left with a top and a bottom. The store selection is not very large, but they have a lot of clearance items and the store is very neat and organized. I also received a 10% on the pants I purchased.

Awful! I have never been to a uniform store with that little stock! I reached out to grab 5 or 6 different scrub sets and none of them have size L pants. I was so irritated. Then, one of the girls suggested I order stuff from them. First off all, they should follow their own advice, and restock the darn store. secondly, I hesitantly agreed to possibly do that if they will apply the buy 2 get third half off deal to the ordered items (hello! Not my fault you do not have any scrubs to sell to me!), but I was refused the sale price. Never again! It is only Gallo‘s store from now on for me! Wanted 30 min of my life back!

Stay away. They didn’t inform me of their policy to make sure the shoes fit before you leave, becaue otherwise you pay a restoking fee. i had a terrible experince, and i don’t think i’m the only one! I place a large order that included lots of differnet scrubs, i didn’t recieve any type of discount nor did i recive my order and has been a month! Everytime, i call i get the run-​around and i payed full for these 5 pairs of scrubs.
Avoid this place by all means.

Because I live nearby, I have been tempted into this store to buy scrubs several times. I always end up empty handed and disappointed. They have few sizes, few colors, and terrible customer service. Everything is supremely overpriced. The only thing I ever actually bought here was a badge holder, and it was soon broken (the retractable string). I much prefer shopping online for scrubs, but it would be nice to be able to try things on first. I’d recommend Scrubs and Beyond as an alternative, however the closest brick and mortar store is in Arundel Mills Mall in MD.

I’ve learned not to expect too much from uniform stores but this place was pretty bad. The shop was comparable in size to other stores I’ve been in but the setup, selection, and customer service were terrible. It’s always cheaper to buy scrubs online anyways, but even if I had wanted to walk out with a pair of scrubs that day, I’m not sure I’d have been able to, even in a color I didn’t want. They hardly had any small sizes, very few petite length pants, and very few tops. There were scrubs of all sizes scattered in different places everywhere. It was hard to know where to even look. It didn’t help that the woman behind the counter barely smiled hello at me, nevermind get off her phone call to come help me out. In a world where you can get fast, free two way shipping from online stores, I’m not sure why you’d ever shop here.

I bought a pair of scrub pants from this business and took them home, washed them and wore them the next day. I noticed a small hole along the seam in the leg. 2 days after I bought the pants, I went back to the store to exchange them. Since I had washed them, they would not exchange the pants. 2 days!!! I had a wonderful experience with this store previously and had referred several of my classmates here. I will tell them all NOT to shop there ever again and I recommend that to everyone reading this post.

The selection was very limited in size and also brands. I also was interested in several different shoes and they had no size 7 in any of the styles. This was a wasted trip. :(
